So I’ve had the Eero system for aver a month now. Setup was very easy. The beacons are a nice touch of style for the home if you can spare the wall outlet. Speeds are consistent and the range is astounding considering their size. I literally can wait for my daughter at the bus stop access from my house and still stream content to my phone. I pay for 200 mb from xfinity and my results usually end up daily over 250 with the occasional one just below 200. Their customer service is great. I signed up for their Eero Plus and have been enjoying those benefits as well. I can from an Orbi setup consisting of 1 router and 2 sattalites. Orbis customer service is a joke and the devices and software had so many reaccuring problems. I’m completely satisfied with my Eero system. It’s not without its flaws but in my experience the few flaws that it has are overshadowed by its incredible reliability. Good job Eero. Keep the updates rolling and improving your ecosystem.

This system has saved our life! Our WiFi would not reach our spare room, and the signal was weak in the rooms you pass on your way into the spare room. After installing this system, our WiFi now reaches our entire house! In fact, that spare room is now my remote classroom where I run Zoom for 8 hours a day, plus a dozen other tabs and apps. My two teens are each at a table also on Zoom for 7 hours a day, while my husband streams television in our bedroom. It was also super easy to install. Up and running in just a few minutes. Thanks, Eero!

Great Mesh WiFi that's easy to setup and strong signal blanketing your entire house. The best features of the product are the 2 eero Beacons which require 0% technical skills to setup. You will plug each one in an outlet of a room that you want strong coverage and you're done, no additional setup is needed beyond plugging the Beacons into a wall outlet. They also provide a little night light below the Beacon when dark. The price is tough to swallow but the results will wash away any remorse of your purchase. Think of how often you upgrade your phone, now think of the last time you've upgraded your WiFi? The Best One Yet!

Problem solved, thanks to eero Mesh WiFi System, 2nd Generation. No dead spaces exist in our house now. Cable and TV speeds have increased dramatically. The two beacons have a built in nightlight that can be programed for the times you want the light to turn on or off. This system is Fantastic and easy to install.

I had 3 of the 1st Gen Eero Pros and went with a Prosumer brand to gain more information and control my network. That is going to be an expensive mistake. It wasn't reliable, blocked things indiscriminately and dropped service. I brought out my 3 Eero units and they just work. I have since added this bundle with one more Pro and 2 beacons. I used wired backhaul for the Pros and the service is solid. The app is great with lots of features and alerts. They have a value add with Secure and Secure+ if you want to subscribe, but you don't have to. Now that I'm back on Eero I'm sorry I ever left. There were rumors for a while that Apple would buy them, not surprising with the look, reliability and quality of the product.

I am very satisfied with the eero - Home WiFi System I bought for my house. My internet connection prior to the purchase and installation was very poor, especially the further I got away from the incoming internet connection through Century Link. With the eero system I know have a very solid wifi signal throughout the house. And the best thing was the installation was super easy and all done through the eero app. This product was recommended by one of the sales people at the Best Buy store and I'm glad I took the time to ask for help. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Its a little more expensive than some of the other wifi systems but I would highly recommend the eero wifi system.

We have 1 gigabit internet service. Testing on multiple devices showed that we were only getting speeds up to 150 mbps. Once we hooked up this system, we now constantly get over 900 mbps. Easy to set up and well worth it.

I live in a recently renewed 1945 house in Miami, as you can imagine the wall are thicker than the new construction so none of the regular WiFi worked, I tried a lot like Netgear,Google mesh, WiFi 6 but no luck, so one of the store associates recommended Eero,at this point I was thinking of call a contractor and wire the whole house but it wasn’t necessary eero solves all my WiFi problems and is fast and stable. Buy it without hesitation it will work.

We recently installed some security systems in and around our house and needed to get a new router to provide more internet coverage. The eero-Mesh WiFi System has been working wonderfully for us. The set comes with 1 eero router and 2 beacons which I put at two opposite ends of my house.

I was looking for a solution to power my smart home and other Wi-Fi connected devices. My existing router was not powerful enough to power everything I needed it to, as it was standard equipment from my provider. I bought another, more powerful router with a longer range than the one I had, but it still fell flat. Several WiFi boosters later, failure ensued, and I found myself at Best Buy desperate for a solution. I had done some quick research beforehand but was still a little in the dark about WiFi mesh devices. The associate who helped me out was phenomenal. I saw the light when he broke things down. Turns out, the system that I had initially picked was not compatible with my provider, as it needed a special connector that my provider did not support. He explained that although the system I chose initially was a good system, that he could choose the eero, hands down, over and over again. I understand why, since I have had it installed for a month now. Unboxing this thing was like Christmas in June. The packaging was top notch; it was super clean, very organized and used minimal plastic. The units themselves feel very sturdy and are minimalistic in appearance. The main unit has two Ethernet ports, one USB port, and one port for the power cord. The two beacons in this set simply plug into an outlet and have one light sensitive night light on the bottom, as well as one LED status indicator on top. The night light adjusts its brightness according to the light it senses. This is a neat feature that I didn’t anticipate, and was elated to have. In the app, you are able to toggle this feature on and off. The setup was the single easiest thing I have ever done. You literally just plug the main eero in, install the app, and plug in your beacons when it prompts you to do so. Each eero beacon provides Wi-Fi to 1500 sq. ft. of your home, without splitting up your bandwidth and sacrificing your speeds. I achieve the maximum speeds that my internet provider promises me (for WiFi) everywhere in my home. This was just what I needed. I now comfortably stream nine outdoor, high resolution cameras, two gaming consoles, two cell phones, two iPads, and an iMac and never experience a bog in my internet speed. The app is super simple to use and I like that there are features in beta that users are able to use if they do wish. One of which is bandwidth steering. I enjoy this feature due to the sheer amount of wireless network users in my area, on top of having only one provider available that supports a pretty large area. The eero automatically bounces to the “path” (band) less traveled in order to give you the highest speeds possible, if you have this enabled. The information button gives a very simple, yet thorough explanation about each beta function. The app also offers automatic system updates, allows the user to see how many devices are connected, which devices they are, and will alert with a notification if any new devices are attempting to join your network. It lists tour upload and download speeds along the bottom of the app’a homepage, how many beacons you have, what kind they are and gives their locations, and their connection status. The menu options in the app are self explanatory and have clear categories; they include: Home, Guest Access, Family Profiles, Network Settings, eero Plus, Add eero, Help, Account and Switch Network. All in all, everything about this system is super simple and has been the best choice I could have made. Everything works flawlessly. I have never had to restart the system or reconnect any beacons. Reliability is a huge plus in my book. 12/10 BUY THIS ONE.

I want to approach this product review from 2 different perspectives; that of a customer, and that of an installer. First, I had a Netgear Nighthawk X8 in my house for over 6 months. The device was a monster, physically and figuratively with performance. However, a standard router suffers when it comes down to buffering and multiple users. I could be the only one on the network and a 30 second Facebook video would buffer more than play. I couldn't stand it. Coverage was also a huge issue. I have a 4200 sq ft ranch and basement. My Nighthawk was centrally located. My house is 80' wide. I had NO coverage in my bedroom or bathroom, and forget about anything outside. It was horrible. In comes the Eero. I had done research on them at work. I work for a technology integrator here in town and we have all types of clients. Most of our clients went with the old horrible "wifi extenders" to solve their network problems, but all it did was cause more issues. We have installed a 3 pack of Eeros in houses ranging from 3000 to 6500 sq ft. Throughout on these devices is fantastic. 90-95% speed compared to the main unit. That is unheard of. Buffering is gone now with multiple devices connected, and my range is crazy. I live on an acre and can be in the back of my lot mowing, still fully connected to wifi and streaming music. These are the only solution for networking now, in my opinion.

Had this two days and is going back for another brand. After setting up It had hand off problems. But biggest problem is this thing run way to hot. I get temp readings of over 130f and the inside of house is 60f being there are no fans in this sealed unit with no vent holes. I don't want to come to burned down house. My area gets to over 110 115 in the summer and I won't chance it. Besides the heat problem it also had hand off problems, app on iPhone is wonky, Another major insult is the company said this is normal. Google erro heat problems and read it for yourself.

A Spectacular Mesh WiFi System for Everyone!

The eero WiFi system is the best mesh WiFi systems I've ever used (and I've tried a few different brands in different use-cases). This system is beyond easy enough for a true tech-novice to set up and powerful enough for a SysAdmin to work with. Setup I set this eero system up in my house. Initial setup itself took a total of 10 minutes (if even that long) and that included having to walk around to plug in the eero Beacons (the remote units). Basically, you plug in the main router (the larger of the three included units), connect it to your internet modem and then download and launch the eero app onto your phone. The app walks you through setting up the main base station and creating your WiFi network. This process is extremely simple and makes great suggestions to ensure your network is secure. Just follow the instructions and you're golden! After that, the app provides suggestions on where to place the two additional units (the "Beacons") to provide the best coverage for your house. Plug these in, the main unit ends up recognizing them and configures them for your network. Couldn't be easier! Coverage I have a somewhat large-ish house (3,100 finished sq. ft.) that is two stories plus an unfinished basement. My cable-modem and main eero router are in the basement against a far wall (this is where I have an available coax port). I have one beacon in a central location on the first floor and one in a central location on the second floor. Plus, if you are worried about the beacons being an eyesore plugged into a visible outlet, they can act as a nightlight (this is optional and can be controlled from the eero app). Before I got the eero, I was using the most recent version of the Apple Airport Extreme base station (which is, admittedly, a few years old at this point) which was in the basement. Although I got strong WiFi in a good portion of the house, there were definite areas on both the first and second floors where the signal was weak and unreliable. It was very frustrating. With the eero, I have not found a single area in my house where I have anything less than a full-strength signal. No more dead spots and no more unreliable signals! Speed The eero WiFi is much faster than what I could achieve on my Apple Airport Extreme. Granted, the eero supports some newer, faster protocols than the Airport does, but the speed rating (as measured by Fast.com) is a noticeable difference. This is a modern WiFi system that supports all modern WiFi protocols and you get the full benefits from this! Eero App The app is a joy to use. As I said earlier, it is simple enough for a tech-novice, but powerful enough for someone who really wants to get into the nitty-gritty of wireless network management. The app hides all the details between a friendly, easier to read and understand main screen that shows you the status of your network including connected devices and bandwidth usage. It allows you to easily set up a guest network, if you so desire. It also allows you to name each device on your network so it is very easy, at a glance, to see what is currently using bandwidth or if, somehow, a foreign device has gotten into the network. If you want more power, the app does provide access to a ton of different configuration options, but only if you truly want them. Conclusion This system is spectacular. eero has pulled off a great feat with this WiFi system. I cannot recommend this system enough!
