Customers enjoy the Comfort Desktop 5050's keyboard quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its good battery life and reasonable price. However, some users point out the lack of a caps lock indicator light as a drawback. A few also experienced occasional connection issues with the keyboard and mouse.

I needed a new wireless mouse and keyboard for my laptop and bought the Microsoft - Wireless Comfort Desktop 5050 Curved Keyboard and Mouse. The curved Keyboard is very easy to use and I would buy it again.

Limited work space doesn't need to be cluttered with cords. I need the option to be wireless and place mouse and keyboard in locations that work for my workstation. Ergonomic style is my preference.

The best update from the 5000 model

This is the most natural feeling combo I've ever used! Coming out of a MS Desktop 5000, this was the greatest update I could think of. The keys are silky smooth and the mouse moves in your hand as if it was built there. I expect similar, if not better (stellar) battery performance from the 5000. Bought it on sale for about 30% off, making it an even better deal.

This is my second purchase of the same keyboard/mouse bluetooth enabled ergonomic pair. This is for a second computer, not a replacement for the original. Love this product.

The design of the keyboard and the large style mouse make this a great product to help with working on your computer for hours and doesn’t make your hands so tired. The added benefit is it is wireless so no cords to clutter up your desk and has a fast response time on the keyboard.

I really like the feel of this keyboard. The slight curve versus the extremes of some ergonomic keyboards relieves stress without adding a different discomfort and reflex learning curve.

I've had an older version of this light-curve ergonomic keyboard for years, and recently decided to upgrade to the wireless.
PROS: The wireless works well as long as it's not plugged into the back of the computer, and the key action is fantastic. I like the ability to set the keyboard to different angles, and the large pad at the bottom is a definite improvement over my old one.
The small Function buttons took a little getting used to, and I still miss having a large Escape key.
CONS: the wireless receiver is over an inch and a half long. This wouldn't be a huge problem, but I have trouble getting it to receive when it's plugged into the back of my computer. I'd rather not have another USB port taken up on the front in the first place, but the high profile of the receiver has me worried about it being nudged, jostled and eventually broken. I prefer the lower profile universal receivers from Logitech.
I can't say much as to the mouse's functionality because I only used it for about five minutes before going back to my old mouse. The mouse is made to be good for either right or left handed people, but I'm very used to my Logitech M705 which is ergonomic for my right hand. After five minutes of use, I was already getting wrist cramps from this mouse.
Overall this is a good five star keyboard, and would have gotten all five stars if I could have simply have gotten the keyboard without having to get the mouse also. The profile of the receiver, while not a deal breaker is more than a little inconvenient, and also helped to shave some points off my review.

Purchased this keyboard as a replacement for my very old home legacy wired keyboard. Having a wireless keyboard is very cool and it's pretty quiet... lots of Hot-keys like my old keyboard. The curved design took a little getting used too, but after a couple of days use I've completely adjusted to it. The mouse is also very comfortable. Very happy with my purchase... suits my needs perfectly.

A big difference from the keyboard I received with my computer, which was flat, small and had no numeric key pad. The keyboard letters are slightly lifted and easier to type without hitting two keys at once.

Just replaced my 12 year old Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse with this one. My experience with the previous model is any indication, this should last more than 12 years, as the old model was still good working condition. This model is comfortable to use and was easy to install.

I bought this keyboard August 2020. As a systems admin, who types 105 wpm, the touch and feel of a keyboard is critical. so I absolutely love Microsoft's keyboards. What I don't like about the keyboard is the glossiness of the keys. The alphabets/numbers/functions tend to wear away quite fast, so I had to recently replace it. So if you don't subconsciously know the keys, you will find yourself replacing it after about a year with consistent use unless you can find a keyboard protector. But the touch and feel of the Microsoft keyboard, in comparison to other manufacturers, you would absolutely love.

Got it to replace my current keyboard at work and haven't looked back. Works flawlessly, being curved it took a couple days to get used to typing, but i love it now. The palm rest helps alot with comfort

I bought this for work because I was tired of having wires all over my desk. It's fantastic. It's ergonomic, but not SO ergonomic that it's big and hard to get used to. The keyboard is pretty quiet. The mouse fits comfortably in the hand. I haven't experienced any connection problems. Also, I bought this over 7 months ago and I still haven't had to replace the batteries. Great product!

This is my second purchase of the 5050 Curved Keyboard and mouse. I don't use the mouse (I prefer Apple's Magic Mouse) but I do love the keyboard. It's very comfortable, reasonably quiet, and the batteries seem to last a relatively long time. I keep the mouse nearby in case my Magic Mouse needs to be charged, but I find it to be overly bulky in comparison. All in all, I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product to replace an older Microsoft keyboard, I like it's sleek looks but more importantly how seamless it works compared to my older Microsoft keyboard
