Works great but mouse does not work on all surfaces.

Got this keyboard and mouse with an open box iMac that was missing those items. Just inserted the batteries put the USB adapter in the computer and I was up and running. Worked like a charm!!

Lasted about 3 months then stopped connecting to any computer.

I returned the Microsoft keyboard it to the store, and bought a Logitec 800. The Logitec keyboard is the best keyboard I've ever used!!!

Great Keyboard with wireless mouse. Automatically works once I restarted my computer. Feels sturdy and comfortable. Only cons is that there's no CAP light. Not a big deal for me thought...doesn't take longer than a second to try to figure out if its on or not. I bought mines for 35 because it was an opened item. I got a good deal for it. Wohoo! :D

This is not worth the money. The scroll wheel on the mouse quit working. There is nothing to indicate battery life. There are no lights for caps lock or number lock. It is just an icon that appears on the monitor for about one-half second. The first several times I hit the caps lock I didn't even notice the icon because it was so quick. I'm going to get something else.

It must have been on sale when I purchased it otherwise I would have walked past it. I was needing a new keyboard for my home PC when I went looking and found this one. At the time it had everything I needed. Then my home PC died and I had a laptop and work laptop so I didn't replace it. I took the keyboard to work since I have a docking station for my laptop. Then I started having issues. I use a lot of passwords for work and have to have caps & numbers in each. I have locked myself out of several because I can't tell if the NUMLOCK or CAPLOCK is on. There isn't a light on the key board or an indicator on my screen. Other then that it is perfectly fine.

Overall an excellent combo of keyboard and mouse. Easy to use and setup.

Bought this for home use in 2011. A, S, E, R & T keys have worn to the point that you almost can't read them. We only use the keyboard maybe a few hours a day. Have had same issue with two other MS keyboards in the past. This is a problem with ALL MS keyboards even ones that cost over $75. My recommendation is not buy but Microsoft keyboards at all but only Logitech. Never had an issue like this with Logitech but only with MS keyboards. I am absolutely ticked about it.

Easy to setup. Easy to use. Had it working in a couple of minutes.

The combination is great. The wireless connects easily and so far the batteries have last about a month. I don't like the mouse as it feels over sized as I am using it.

For some reason Dell moved the delete key to a new position different from the two Dell laptops and three laptops in our house. Mouse broke first month but was repalced with keyboard. Must buy new keyboard and mouse soon.

I bought the Microsoft keyboard/mouse combination (series 2000) for use with my home desktop PC as well as for my daughter's desktop PC. For both sets of these devices the performance was terrible. At first it was fine. But after a while, the mouse was not tracking - making even the simplest tasks incredibly frustrating. The keyboard was just as bad. You would type and characters would be missing...and it would be very slow to respond. This happened with BOTH sets of devices. I contacted Microsoft and they were of no help whatsoever. Do not trust this product. Do not buy this product. It's pure garbage.

Well, the price was right and the keyboard easy on the hands. I did not like the extra long USB wireless plug since we're using this on a laptop and I always had the fear it was going to get bumped and break the USB port. These are not the kinds of things you want to keep taking out because that leads to losing them and leaving something that sticks out this much does not seem like a good idea. However, the kicker was that it just stopped working after about 2 weeks. Good thing Best Buy has a 30 day return policy. I guess you can get a lemon buying any product and that's what we got here. I got a different brand when I took it back. Much happier with that.

easy to set up; good not great performance; keeps clean

This keyboard does not have an indicator light for caps on - I have never used a keyboard in my life that didn't have an indicator light to know whether caps are on or not - very dissatified - planning on returning.

I returned this product after a few days of use. This mouse was the first one that I have used that has no rubberized grips or texture on the sides. I went to push it up and my fingers kept slipping up the sides of the mouse. Furthermore, this product comes from a BestBuy "Marketplace Vendor." i.e. you can't return it to the store! I was honest with them and explained why I was returning the item. Because it was not defective, they charged me shipping Grrrrrrr Not great customer service Best Buy!

Very good keyboard and mouse!!!! Microsoft always seems to have a good product. : )
