Customers are saying

Customers love the ergonomic design of the Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse Bundle, praising its comfort and pain relief during extended typing sessions. The wireless feature is also well-received for its convenience, especially when working with spreadsheets. However, some users have concerns about the mouse's durability and responsiveness, as well as the keyboard's learning curve and battery life.

Solid keyboard, but shows some wear

Overall, the Microsoft Sculpt wireless keyboard and mouse are a really solid and comfortable setup. The wireless USB dongle connects seamlessly and quickly with my Macbook and Dell Laptop, the batteries last a long time, and it's a very comfortable keyboard setup. My only reason for giving it 4 stars and not 5 stars is that the letters have a tendency to wear off the keyboard, and the mouse is showing some wear after 8 months. This is my second Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard (I use the other one at work), and it shows the same signs of wear. So, this seems to be related to the design of the product and not a fluke.

I am not a fan of the ergonomic keyboard in any way, however, the Microsoft Sculpt has changed my mind completely. This keyboard is a real game changer. I love all of the functionality that it offers, including the function set switch. The mouse is also great because it has navigation buttons built into the finger rests. I also love the fact that there is a mobile number pad that you can position wherever you want. Great buy. I have already recommended it to all of my coworkers.

Great ergonomic keyboard for a small space

I need my keyboard on a lap board for best ergonomics at my home office. This keyboard works great for such a small space (so a mouse can fit too). (P.S. Since this product includes three items, the dimensions provided are for the entire box, not for any one item.). I use a different mouse that is a ball track only and doesn't slide at all so that can fit also), but I use the mouse every once in a while, and think it feels pretty good ergonomically too. LOVE the separate 10 key mouse pad...great to grab only when needed without using up space the rest of the time. The only things I wish the keyboard had were a distinctive feel to some of the side keys to help me navigate them without having to look and no cord (there are enough wireless signals around my house; I'd prefer not to have one for a device that is stationary).

The keyboard and mouse are very comfortable and easy on my wrist. Only complaint is that, at times, the mouse is slow to respond.

The 2 months that I have had this keyboard mouse combo, I have not been disappointed. The only issue I have is the position of the right shift key feels a little further than a traditional keyboard. The split space bar, detached numeric keypad, and mouse are all fantastic. We will be buying for more staff!

I have been suffering of tendonitis on both wrists for a while and since I have gone ergonomic these problems have gone away. I currently use an Evoluent mouse which I also recommend and this keyboard. What I love about this one is that the keys are not so far away, I was using another Microsoft model (Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000) which I really liked but this one is smaller and I love the keys, they are very silent! Also I love the fact that the numeric keypad is separate, that way I can place it on the left side and have my mouse closer to me (which is another ergonomic change). Anyways overall I am very pleased with this keyboard, so much that I own 2 of them (one for work and one for home), really recommend it! The only thing I don't like about it is that the palm rest gets some "grease" spots from resting the hands. But I can live with that!

Extremely easy on your wrists with some caveats

I started having some wrist problems as I typed all day, so I came across this weird-looking keyboard. I first tried it out in-store and it felt great. When I got it and used it for several weeks, I definitely see what the fuss was about. It's tremendously easy on your wrists. Moreover, the mouse that comes with the keyboard is also nice. But, here are some caveats: I needed to get used to this keyboard arrangement. Maybe it's just me, but I had to change my habit of pressing certain keys with my left hand. For instance, I used to press "y" and "h" with my left index, but with this keyboard, that didn't work, so I changed to my right (albeit with some difficulty). Second, the wrist/palm pad gets dirty quite easily. I believe there's no replacement just for the wrist/palm pad, so you need to wipe it with wet cloth regularly.

I'm a full-time software developer and I was starting to get pain in my wrists and hands at work. Bought this keyboard/mouse combo and now there's no pain. I still have problems with how hard it is to find some keys such as the arrows and home/end, but that was alleviated by adding texture to the important keys (by carving lines into the plastic, like Braille).

I bought this to replace my wired MS ergo just to get rid of some wires. I like the keyboard just fine, the mouse took some getting used to bc it’s pretty big, but now I love it. I’m not the biggest fan of the number pad being detached though. I don’t have a great place for it, and it’s something I’ve used for years so I’ve never had a keyboard without one. I just haven’t found a comfortable place for it to live at this point.

My old keyboard needed replacing as it did not like Windows 10. This one does. I love the separate number pad as it makes a real quick calculator. No digging for my phone or the calculator lost in my drawer somewhere. I did look at other boards, but this one won. Pricy but worth it.

The exceptional ergonomic aspects of this keyboard overcame its one fault to add up to 5 stars. The fault: There is no caps lock indicator or num lock indicator. I researched and found out that's because with wireless keyboards that run on batteries, a light would drain the battery. Some caps locks are depressed a little when they are "on" but this does not have that feature. I like how the side keypad is separate, which allows for more maneuverability. A separate keypad works well on my standup keyboard stand when I have to have books or papers on the stand too. I can remove the keypad and have more room. The mouse is more of a fat little ball than what I've used before but is very comfortable. I tried a less expensive wireless keyboard (where the box said it had a caps lock light but the box was wrong and there was no light) and it felt cheap, as if the keys were poorly set and wiggly. No so on this Sculpt beauty of a keyboard.
