I bought this because it is a docking station but also serves as the charging cord. Nobody likes a cluster of cords so I was happy to eliminate the charging cord from my desk.

Everything I needed in a dock. After unsuccessfully attempting to purchase in store and online multiple Times in the past, I couldn’t pass up the one last unit on the shelf. Makes switching between my personal and work desk a breeze. No more unplugging and replugging the same cables.

I purchased to replace surface dock. I like the usbc ports. I wish all four could drive the monitors, but only two are capable of external monitor connections. I think it could have used two more usb3.0 porta.

This has to be one of the most versatile DOCK I have ever used with a laptop. Comes with a magnetic connector that snaps to my surface laptop and extends its ports in a really good way. I can connect 2 4k monitors and so far so good.

Works great with my surface laptop studio. I’m able to connect to my Wacom monitor, software dongle, wireless mouse, and other items. It didn’t work with my thunderbolt audio interface, but that wasn’t totally surprising. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s a solid unit. I’m a fan.

Having to setup remote offices I found my self recommending Surface products more often, this dock it's the perfect companion, the size it's perfect so it won't be taking a lot of space from your desk also it can power dual monitors, little trick if you get a USB-C to HDMI or DP you can add a 3rd but it's up to you. much needed for today's needs

Whats to say? Have a surface and need to hook it up to monitors/network/more usb ports? Get it! Do not the Surface Dock 2 has USB-C video outputs, So keep that in mind. We exclusively use Surfaces at work and these seem to work better than the Dock 1's

For the most part is works great. Sometimes glitchy.

I have 4 of these docking stations and they are great for convenience of just unplugging my Surface Laptop and moving to another docking station where I have different monitors, speakers, scanners, etc. connected. I don't have to move cords. Quick and easy. I use one for travel which works great for connecting to projectors.

I bought two of these, to go with the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop my kids have. They work as expected, each with a 4K monitor, there is not much else to say about them. At full price there are better values to be found, if you Surface product is recent enough to have a USB-C port, but it is a great value when on sale.

Easy to configure. The hardest part is unpacking the box. Plug in the external and build incredibly complex Excel Spread sheets with multiple tabs. One can see everything. Then plug into the enet network and print away. All without opening the manual! The Dock unleashes the full potential of the Surface Laptop and Surface Book!

Works seamlessly with my Surface computer to add a monitor to my work station in my home. It was easy to install.

Purchased this to complete my COVID setup, and probably the best purchase I've made during these times. I have two large widescreen monitors plugged in over USB-C. All available via a single cable, the Surface mag-safe cord. Absolutely lovely...

Very simple to set up and very convenient. Allows for 2 monitors and a printer and keyboard. Ideal use is Microsoft wireless mouse.

recently purchased a used Pro 6 Surface, needed to add two external monitors and needed more USB ports, this device fit the bill and works great. Even better got it on sale @$50 bucks off. Great deal

Having issues connecting my surface laptop 4 to an external monitor since I bought it last Fall, this product was my last option because it was pricey. (I got travel hub first, but it didn't solve the issue) I realized that I needed to get another HDMI/USB-c adaptor (additional cost) to connect 2 monitors. I didn't want to spend money any more for additional accessories, and this was bigger and heavier than I expected, so I returned it. Check if you really need this and have all accessories before purchasing it.

Does pretty much the same thing as the original Surface Dock with the exception that this dock now has 2 USB type C ports which replaces the previous 2 mini display port ports. Works well but is a tad on the expensive side.

This is a great dock to have if you are working with additional monitors. I use USB C to display port cables. Have hard wire to internet. It's great. It's little on the expensive side. I got mine on sale plus discount which is why I grabbed it.

Works well with my Surface book 1 and Surface book 3. Bought on sale so a great value. One should read the spec's first to see if it meets their needs. plenty of USB and DP ports. Quick and easy to setup even without the instructions.
