I love this keyboard. I didn't know there was a specific 'surface' ergonomic keyboard. I already own a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, but mine was wired. this keyboard is sooooo cool in it that it has a cloth feeling to my wrists. I love the sleak design and how I have one less wire at my desk.

I’ve used the ergonomic keyboards from Microsoft for years, and still have 2 of the old, bulkier style version with the larger keys. This new thinner design has a different feel and travel on the keys, which are great. I was a Surface Book owner, which has a superior keyboard experience, and I really got used to it. I switched to a Surface Laptop, and wasn’t in love with that keyboard experience, but using this as the keyboard has made the experience great. I write a ton of content, edit documentation, and write code, this keyboard is perfect for all day work (and longer). It’s funny because the keyboard experience was always expected to be great, but since my MacBook Pro keyboard experience, the worst keyboard on a laptop to ever make it into the market, the keyboard now becomes the more important than the specs of the machine. I would highly recommend this keyboard.

The split arrangement of the keys of this keyboard is great. I love the fact that my shoulders are kept in proper alignment. Very easy to get used to. The numeric keypad is convenient and placed perfectly in line with my right hand.

This is a great ergonomic keyboard that feels satisfying when you press the keys. It has a built-in palm rest which really helps with making your wrist feel cozy while typing.
The Bluetooth feature makes it wireless so you can be typing as far as 30 ft away from your computer.
There are smaller keyboards out there if you do not need the 10 key. But if you do this is a good keyboard to consider

Great keyboard. Ergonomic design takes a while to get used to, but worth it in my opinion. Only drawback is that it is kind of pricey. Love the design and feel of this compared to Microsoft's wired ergonomic keyboard.

I did a ton of research on exactly what keyboard I wanted: I found it in this exact product. This keyboard is so utterly comfortable to use, you literally never grow tired of typing on it. Additionally, the Bluetooth connectivity is foolproof. This keyboard is the LaFerrari, GT3, and Ford SuperCar built into one: I’ve been typing for over forty years; this, by far, is the smoothest, most comfortable, most well-designed, and finest manufactured common electronic production essential I have ever used. Worth every cent; the sale price was perfect. You can fly on this keyboard, and the chicklet sound and feel are subtly outstandingly dynamic. Comfort + speed = WP and data processing super-success with this beyond-fine tool.

Great, but just like the Arc mouse, this freezes for a few seconds every couple of minutes, which is super annoying. It's gorgeous, so I'm keeping it, but I have to keep another keyboard handy for when I'm writing something substantial.

I cannot explain enough how much I love this keyboard. I have worked on a laptop for years and after a shoulder injury in the fall, realized that I am too restricted with the laptop keyboard and that I needed something more ergonomic. A few things. I am 48, I am only 5 feet tall and I have small hands and I wanted a keyboard with a number pad. I tried my husband's wavy keyboard and did not like it. I ordered two different Logitech keyboards that had great reviews. One I sent back and I gave one to my 14 year old. It was a larger keyboard and had a wrist rest, which was very uncomfortable for me. After nearly giving up I looked at this keyboard and then my husband suggested this one. I also wanted a bluetooth keyboard. My new HP laptop does not have enough USB ports to support a regular wireless keyboard, so BT was imperative (unless you have a USB hub, bluetooth is best). The first day I was unsure if I liked it, but decided to give it a couple of days before making a final decision. This keyboard is amazing. First, it's stylish. Next, it FEELS good. The keys and the wrist rest feel wonderful and the wrist pad is not bulky like other keyboards. The keys are also not set close together like a lot of keyboards, which makes typing easier in my opinion. For what it is worth, my hubby used it for a day and wanted to like it and did not. The wrist pad did NOT work for him and made his hand go numb. He also did not like the placement of a few other keys. Who knew keyboard decisions were so subjective? I write a lot of reviews, but rarely on tech items, but really wanted to say how much I love this keyboard. It is very much worth the money.

I waited a long time for Microsoft to come out with a new full size ergonomic Bluetooth keyboard, and I have not been disappointed. No need for extra dongles for different devices. Fits my large hands well. Only issue I have had is occasional dropping of the connection after long idle periods. I would recommend this keyboard to others.

I have always liked Microsoft keyboards, but this one is a little mixed. It has good feel and good materials. It fits with the Surface esthetic. But it has some downsides. The keys are all so flat that it is difficult to blindly position the hands correctly. The key caps respond well, but I did have a problem with the left half of the keyboard. The key was not properly seated in its mechanism. It was difficult to correct. This *might* have been due to buying an open box. My #1 gripe, though, is that the keyboard falls asleep after disuse, and it takes seconds to reconnect, so it is non-responsive for the first few keystrokes.

I really like the ergonomics of the keyboard, and it's a huge upgrade from the thin bouncy surface pro keyboard.
However, I was a little disappointed in the quality. Although it looks like it's Apple-style machined aluminum, it is not. The whole thing is plastic.
