I have a surface pro, the surface book 2, and now this one that I will use for personal use instead of business. Bigger screen and easier to use on my lap than the pro with the built in keyboard, thinner, and runs great. Great battery life as well. Did not go with the surface book 3 mainly to save a few hundred dollars with similar specifications. I have docking stations at work and home and love how all of the laptops work with them.

I had my eye on a Surface Laptop for a while, so when I found out about the promotion, I had to get one. The first unit I got had some issues with the keyboard and charger, but BestBuy instantly exchanged it with no issues. New unit is perfect. I especially like the Surface Laptop 3's sleek design, slick keyboard, snappy performance, and long battery life as expected from Microsoft.

I chose this computer and spent the extra bucks mainly for the lighter weight and better build quality than the typical plastic-y laptops all competing for best value. I bought the black i7 for me and the pink/sandstone i5 for the wife. Note that certain colors like black, silver, sandstone have an all-metal build, while other colors like blue for some reason still have that cheap plastic "Alcantera" material around the keyboard. That is surprising since even the new Surface Laptop Go has a metal build even in blue. The keyboard has a nice feel, with a crisp, light touch, that my hands took a little time to adjust to from my previous, low-end Thinkpad. I mainly use for Internet and Office-type productivity, no video stuff. I have not noticed any heating, even when its on my lap. So far I do not recall the fan ever coming on either. For my uses, I am not sure the i7 is noticeably better than my wife's i5, but since it is my main computer I wanted to get the higher-end processor just in case. The charger is proprietary, which sometimes can be inconvenient in some products, except this one is particularly easy to connect with a sort of magnetic clip-on that guides it easily into connection. This screen works really well with the Microsoft Surface Pen (sold separately). That is handy in case our kid wants/need to use our computers for school projects, etc. I have not had reason to turn the volume up high, but the speakers and sound quality have been more than adequate for something with a slim build like this.

I like my laptop. I’ve had it since 03/21. I like the design of it & how it functions. My only dislike is the lack of USB ports. I recently got into rug tufting & a projector is needed, but I realized I have to use an adapter— but that’s not a big enough dislike for me to drop the product down a star.

We love the slim design. Easy to use. The touch screen is an added bonus.

I love the surface. This is my 2nd one. I passed the first one down to my kids. I can have literally 30 tabs open at a time and use dualless to help me teach virtually. The only worrying thing is that when it is charging no matter how few windows I have open, it gets really really hot. Not just warm. Hopefully this is nothing to worry about. I have read this is a common problem. I would never use anything but surface for my laptops.

It is a nice computer, light weight with high performance but if you charge while using the fan turns on, and it is laud. I realized if you do the charging under recommeded settings it does not do it. It does it if you use while charging under performance setting. Also the leather coating is not nice at all, it does not feel nice and it seems like it can get deformed pretty quickly if you have hands getting sweeted easily.

What I wanted from a laptop was it’s portability and it’s functionality, and this definitely delivers. But I have one problem with the Surface is mine came with software bug and it kept black screening when blue light filter was on. I went with Geek squad and they “fixed” the problem but it was only temporary because the black screen returned once again. Not sure what the problem is but it seems that it’s common with the Microsoft Surface. Overall the laptop works great and is pretty powerful for how small and compact it is.

I have an ancient laptop and have been wanting an upgrade. I use a Surface 2 at work and have come to really like the speed and capabilities of the laptop. My Surface 3 is even better! Here's to a year of much quicker productivity and fun!

Surface Laptop 3 is a premium windows laptop which is better than any other 13' laptops that are currently out there in the market. It is a powerful laptop which is also sleek and lightweight. I'd recommend this laptop to anyone in the market for a premium Windows laptop.

Extremely fast device (I have the 16gb i7 version), and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Love the battery life, and all the optimizations that come with the laptop. The lovely alcantara finish is the cherry on the top. Would totally recommend to anyone who's looking for their first surface device.

Simply a great computer. I've used Microsoft prior and never had a problem at all this is no different. Fast, lightweight for travel. I use it for business every day. Would recommend this one period.

This is a pretty great deal in terms of the RAM and processing power you're going to be getting, especially in terms of comparison to a MacBook. I have a Galaxy phone so I can also receive notifications and make calls and texts right from the "Your Phone" app. Great display and the touchscreen is great for scrolling down long papers and assignments. If you're a student who is looking for an all-in-one laptop with the tablet features (with no compromises in power or RAM), I feel like this is a steal. Bought a nice little Bluetooth mouse to go along with it using the money I saved on it!

My som loves this laptop for middle school. This laptop is very light and portable and has full windows operation. It is also a bit more mechanically robust then our surface tablet which made it feel like a great PC to have him bring to school.
