Just what I wanted. Compact, fast, fun. Easy to use.

We made a great purchase in buying this product for our daughter. She needed something dependable for her classes at university and she loves how lightweight and durable it is. As a parent, I highly recommend this product to help with school work.

I’ve been a Mac user for years and it took a lot for me to switch. This is a really great computer. Fast, easy to use as a laptop or tablet. Love the pen! No regrets! Oh, and I can increase the memory with a micro ssd card! Love that!

I bought this computer as a second travel laptop after I could not take my main laptop due to the business needing the accounting program for orders and invoices. Both are MIcrosoft Surface, which is the main reason I bought another so that my travel charging cable and pen work on both. The keyboard is not great and as always, I dislike the touchpad. I bought a mouse but rarely use it on this one. I find that I use the touchscreen more. If I were doing extended work, I'm sure I would use the mouse. Mostly I checked and answered email, checked news sites, watch some streaming. Great to use it as a tablet without the keyboard. The kickstand is great. But I'm afraid that I will drop it when off the keyboard and most certainly will scratch it without additional protection. It's a great travel computer but prefer my larger version for everyday use. Battery life is decent on both.

I needed a new computer, not because of business or work as I am recently retired, but because I wanted to reengage with my genealogy. Truly I could not have bought it at a better time. Not only was it on sale when I bought it, but a week later we were asked to self isolate. It has been a Godsend.

The surface line continues to get better. I started with the original Surface and have continued to upgrade as new models come out. The performance is great, the devices are well made and they continue to evolve with the industry (I.e. usb-c, etc)

***If you need decent battery life, stay away from Microsoft SP computer-tablets*** I have owned four SP7s (and two SPXs) and ended up giving them away because of one huge problem. Windows updates killed their battery life. Each of these SP7s and SPXs started out with between 11 to 12 hours of battery life (watching YouTube continuously at 40%, battery saver and wifi on), and after a couple of Windows updates, their battery life always plummeted to 6-7 hours. I'd have to constantly uninstall Windows updates until I found the update that was draining the battery. And due to the process all over again when a new update was released. It is completely unacceptable for a company that designs the hardware and makes the software to have their computer-tablets' batteries last half as long as their OEMs. My 13-inch Samsung Galaxy Book Pro (11th Gen i7, 16 ram, 512 ssd) gets 17 hours of battery life (watching YouTube continuously at 40%, battery saver and wifi on) and my 16-inch Yoga 2-in-1 (12th Gen i7, 16 ram, 512 ssd) that I use as my desktop gets 15 hours of battery life (the 14-inch version also gets 15 hours of battery life). I will never purchase another SP again and I strongly recommend you stay away from SPs until Microsoft gets this battery issue corrected (plenty of complaints on the internet and in Microsoft's own discussion board about SPs battery issues, just Google "Surface Pro" and "battery issues"). You have been warned...

I brought a surface pro for my pastor for her birthday I love this so much that I decided to buy one for myself it's lightweight If it's easily into my handbag or pocketbook user friendly the kickstand is amazing Best I say in any tablet/computer

You can't go wrong with a device that allows you to run all the programs that a full-size computer runs, but have the flexibility of a laptop. I think this is the best ever, beats many of the competition

This is a fantastic tablet/laptop combo. I use it for work, making information sharing easy on the go. I love the pen/screen write function and use it daily for personal and business use.

Best value for an i7 CPU and 16GB RAM. It works especially well when pairing with the Microsoft docking station. Wish it would ship with windows Pro instead of home, but otherwise a great laptop.

I bought the surface for online classes. It's been awesome so far. The only negative thing I noticed is that it ran hot a couple of times, while shopping on Amazon or scrolling through Facebook. Overall pretty good though.

Absolutely love this touch screen laptop. It is very nice and easy to use. The battery life has gotten a little worse than the beginning but that is to be expected.

Purchased this to replace an ancient MS Surface RT tablet. All personal files and apps transfered easily. This new Surface 7 tablet runs pretty smooth.

Recently needed to replace a desktop and was looking at the Surface Pro. Purchased the i7 16GB version and loving it. Haven't had any hiccups, starts up in the snap of a finger!

Just recently purchased and have been using everyday. Currently running sketchup, layout and several other programs. Runs smooth for all tasks and battery life has been very good.

I've been using the Microsoft surface pro 7 for school for 2 months now and i love it. I rated 4 stars because of a few issues. First, delivery was horrible. The box was thrown over the fence when i was home. The delivery truck could have easily honked and i would have gotten the package just fine. So, my advice. Ask for delivery to the store and pick it up instead. Fortunately, the computer was fine. The pen has a good design excerpt for the tip. If you drop it, the tip will break. You will have to order pen tip replacements. Besides these two problems, i recommend the computer, maybe not the pen though.

This is my second Surface Pro and I couldn't be happier. Love the ease of use and all of features. Easily transferred all of my files automatically. Would highly recommend.
