Good computer. Lacks specks. Good for the novelty and convenience If your only searching tabs and basic computing. Wouldn’t trust for heavy editing gaming or tasking really though.

Excellent product. Was purchased to use after i had an abdominal surgery and was on a 5lb weight lifting limit. But i still needed to VPN to the office to fix IT issues. Defiantly needed the keyboard but it did exactly what i needed it to do. Still use it with no problems at all.

I am so happy with my purchase of this laptop/ tablet. I am a grad student who really only uses Microsoft office and a web browser, so I needed something portable, quick, and easy to take notes with and this tablet is just that! While being a really great user experience. The graphics are clear and bright. I have no issue using this in my lap or in bed, I use it everywhere. Purchasing the keyboard + pen is a must for students, so overall for my needs you could say this laptop was way overpriced and I agree, But I am extremely happy with it. I use OneNote for note taking and it is so easy and honestly fun. I fold back the keyboard and write flat on it like a notebook. The battery life isn't as great as I hope UNTIL you put it in battery saver mode. In this mode I keep the brightness pretty high, and I get a full day's use out of this laptop/tablet. Webcam is good enough for meetings, no complaints. The back camera is okay but honestly, I never use it so it's just cool to have.

ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THE 256GB VERSION AS I WASN'T SURE I WAS GONNA LIKE IT. LESS THAN 48 HOURS LATER, WENT BACK TO THE STORE TO EXCHANGE IT WITH THE 512GB VERSION. LOOKS LIKE A TABLET, WORKS LIKE A FULL BLOWN WINDOWS PC. BOUGHT THE KEYBOARD WITH FINGERPRINT READER AND THE PEN SO THERE'S NO SMUDGE ON THE SCREEN WHEN WATCHING OR USING WHILE ON A PLANE OR TRAVELLING. KEYBOARD DOUBLES AS A SCREEN PROTECTOR TOO. PEN WORKS REALLY NICE. MY SON COMPARED IT TO HIS 2021 IPAD MINI WITH PENCIL AND THEY BOTH WORK GREAT! HE LIKES TO DRAW SO THIS IS PERFECT!

I bought this as a way for my husband, who is not the most tech savy person, to pay bills and use drawing apps. He absolutely loves it. He can use it like a tablet or like a laptop and it makes things so much easier for him. Its easy to use and set up. Even my son has used it to write papers for school. Worth the buy.

Love my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 (i5, 8GB, 512GB). Perfect for general productivity and light gaming (Primarily older RTS games when I travel).

If you need a light workhorse for work then a Surface is the way to go. It’s quick has decent graphics and runs office and adobe with no issues. If you are wanting to entertain yourself during breaks it works fairly well for cloud gaming. The versatility of a tablet, removal keyboard, and pencil make it comparable to an iPad Pro, which I also own.

Great computing power better than most laptops with sleek design and functionality of a tablet and an awesome display.

This is my third Surface device (I had a Surface RT, then a Pro 4, and now this), and they keep getting better and better. It is fast, the pen is snappy, and the 120 hz refresh is a game changer. Blown away that it is the full Windows experience in something this small, which makes it great for work and travel on the go.

I purchase this to replace my old laptop. I love the easy of setting it up. The clean lines is good. What's best is I can put in in a shoulder bag and carry it with me without feeling weight down.

I bought this Surface Pro 8 on June 19th, 2022. It stopped working towards the end of May in 2023 out of nowhere. I did not drop it or do anything to it that would cause damage and it stopped turning on. I presented my claim in June of 2023 to Best Buy and they ignored me saying that Microsoft would be responsible for the warranty, not them. I reached out over the phone and they didn't answer me, I even had a close friend of mine take it physically to Microsoft's store in Miami and they too said they wouldn't be responsible for it since the warranty had expired for two weeks. I've been trying to reach someone that will give me a solution for 7 months now and no one will help me. I'd appreciate any help I can get with this Thank you.

I am so pleased with the Surface I chose. The look & simetry of it is great. So far I have no complaint's about it's efficientcy. I do appreciate the Microsoft Surface 8. I just have become slower to produce. Marvin L

Finally, a tablet really meant for Pro. I love this device, I can do every I can’t with the iPad. I sold my iPad because iPadOS is designed to be a toy instead of a professional tool, even though they the hardware is amazing but the software is way too limited and it was really frustrating, Microsoft Surface Pro 8 fixed all of these voids.

I was looking for a portable replacement PC that was actually powerful enough to do the ordinary tasks or light gaming without errors in my productivity. This display is really amazing with the IRS graphics and the built-in speakers you don't even need to bring a portable sound system. It does get warm after hours of gaming but I didn't really see a drop and in performance. This has a really good sturdy build that you won't be scared to snap in half unlike my tab s7. The built-in kickstand is pretty sweet but with something this valuable you should put in a sturdy case.

Always been very satisfied with my Surface purchases. This is my 3rd Surface. Very reliable and durable. Battery life is very good. Very happy that they got a 512 GB SSD into a lower priced SKU.

Excellent product with excellent price from best buy! definitely the best deal of summer back to school period! sufficient SSD storage at 512 GB! highly recommended! this surface pro 8 does compatible with Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard for 99.99% of full functions running Windows 11! So I would recommend buying device at par $1k plus $49 Apple Magic Wireless keyboard plus $29 MS Ergo Mouse for best combo deal!
