Perfect addition for iPad Pro

I wanted to give the iPad Pro a try but hated the Apple smart keyboard. So this lead me to try this keyboard. If you have used a Surface Pro 3 keyboard, this is what it feels like. I thought it would be hard to get used to the split keys but honestly it felt natural. The keyboard folds perfectly and fits snugly into a sleeve I picked up for the iPad Pro. Also the battery life shows up on the ipad Pro widget which is a nice touch. Only downside I guess is that it it means you might have to carry a microUSB charger from time to time if you are an Apple user.

The keyboard is great, very small and light weight. Perfect for the portability that I was looking for. You don't really notice the split in the keyboard if you are use to typing on an ergonomic keyboard since they have similar layouts. The only down side that kept it from getting 5 stars was that I feel a little cramped when trying to type on it.

Best portable bluetooth keyboard I have tried

I have been looking for a good portable (meaning small enough to pack in my bag with my iPad without taking up much room) bluetooth keyboard for the past 2 or 3 years. I saw the display of this at the store, and was amazed! Super thin, super light, and yet has full-sized keys and great typing action. I actually like the fact that there is a bit of space between the two sides of the keyboard. Makes it fit my hands just right.
Pairs immediately with my iPad when I open the keyboard. Powers off when you close it. Microsoft did a great job on this one!

I bought this last night after seeing it in the store, searching around for a good bluetooth keyboard for my Apple iPad mini 4 and Nvidia Shield Console Android TV. The reviews looked solid so I gave this a shot. It is, hands down, the best portable keyboard I've used. I've had a bunch over the years (mostly from Zagg) and while they were ok, they weren't great. Flimsy, really cramped, etc. This one is basically the Surface Type Cover keyboard with a split in the middle (so it's like an old Microsoft split ergonomic style). Spacious, etc. There are two things that make me not give it 5 stars though. The first is that it isn't backlit (yet it has some backlighting on the top row for the power, bluetooth device selector, and operating system selector). It would have been PERFECT with some backlighting (possibly for the second gen model?) While 6 month battery life is awesome, I'm fine cutting it down to 30 day battery life and having an awesome backlit Surface Type Cover style portable foldable keyboard. The second thing is the Caps Lock key. Why is it so big?! lol. I find I am occasionally hitting it when I am typing the letter A. Having that a tad smaller and the A key a tad bigger would have been a better balance. Other than that, it's literally fantastic! It is super compact, fits in my pocket, has this cool splash resistant coating on it, etc. All in all, I'm sold and very much recommend this to someone that needs a portable keyboard for multiple wireless devices. Bring on the backlight for the next one! ^_^

This is a great keyboard with excellent battery life. It folds nicely and stores in my work bag, ready whenever I need it. I have used it with various Windows based devices from phones to tablets. It works with my iPad and Android devices. It has a button to tell it what type of device you are connecting too: Windows, iOS or Android. I frequently use it when I have to type a lot on my phone. When using a Windows Phone/tablet or Android phone/tablet I sometimes use a mouse, too. Too bad iOS doesn't have mouse support.

This is a very easy piece of tech to use! It fits into the case with my tablet, it automatically connects to my tablet when I open the keyboard, and, even though the keyboard is very flat, there's a good solid feel to the keys (i.e., I know that I've typed the letter I want). The gap in the middle of the keyboard takes a little time to get used to, but I like this keyboard! If it also had Spanish character functionality (and some sort of little prop stand for my tablet), I could give this keyboard a 5. As it is, I give it a 4.5.

This is a great keyboard for using away from home. It fits large fingers well, and can fit easily into any computer bag, backpack, or even a jacket pocket. You must remember to switch the keyboard to windows, mac, or Android mode before features will work for the item you are trying to pare with. THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE! If you forget, your function keys will not work properly.

I like this keyboard a lot since it is reminiscent of Microsoft's Surface keyboards. It's paring to devices is solid, and I love being able to switch to different devices. It's also great for traveling, which is what I'd most recommend it for. Since the keyboard has a gap in the middle, I found it hard at first for my fingers to get used to the layout. But, I got used to it fairly quickly. If you're looking for something portable and reliable, this is not something to pass up.

Portable keyboard unfolds with FN key surprise

After months of admiring the Microsoft foldable keyboard as an efficient means to switch input between two devices that can also fit easily into a small bag, I was still hesitant because of the absence of Function keys. Despite no documentation or other indicators, it was a relief to experimentally discover that using the FN key + number keys also acts as F1 to F10 function keys, making the keyboard more useful for productivity.
Pairing was simple between two Windows devices so overall, grabbing this on sale for half price at BestBuy was even a better bargain than initially thought.

As much as I love all my touchscreen devices, every now and then a physical keyboard is a must! I cannot touch type on glass screen. This compact, solidly-built, foldaway keyboard connects with my two favorite touch devices (a Note 4 and a Tab S) without a hiccup. The battery life is phenomenal and the keyboard itself has a nice key feel and seems like it will survive its portability. It fits in a little side pocket with my charger cables on my travel bag. I did get this keyboard at a discount, and am not sure I would have paid full price for it... not because of quality, but just because of my budget. :)
But, if you need it, buy this. You will not regret.

I bought this product to use with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and it constantly drops its connection via Bluetooth but thats nothing compared to the layout of the board. Its akward and takes constant usage to get use to this layout. Other than that the idea is great and the size is awesome.

This keyboard from Microsoft is Fantastic! I bought it to use with my Windows 10 Mobile phone on Continuum, and was pleased to discover that it could support 2 devices with the press of a button! I've also paired it up to my tablet, and it is a breeze to type on, very portable, and incredible battery life! My only "ding" if you will is that because of the fold in the middle it requires a flat surface to type on, so it's difficult to use on, say, your lap. Otherwise, Excellent!

I bought this for my son and he loves it. He uses it with his Lumia 950 and combined with the Arc Touch Bluetooth Wireless Mouse I also got him, he has a pretty functional computer setup. Battery life has been great and the way it automatically turns off when folded up has certainly helped with that. I'm planning to get one for myself soon.

It works & I can fit it in my back pocket when on the go. The battery life is so long that I forget that it even needed charging...I use it about 1-2 times a week for about 30-120 minutes & charge it up once a month on average....sometimes once every 2 months. Of course I'm not continuously typing for all of the time... Main selling points: 1. Fits in pocket of most of my pants/shorts 2. Battery life is crazy stupid long 3. Learning curve/getting used to the middle divider (which most foldable portable keyboards have...super annoying, but it has to be done somehow unless the folds/folding mechanism is set up differently) and using the correct fingers is minimal compared to the 2 other portable keyboards I've used in the past. I saw that a someone has a kickstarter or investors for a cool looking foldable keyboard concept coming out soon (they've met the goal). If it is priced appropriately, I'll probably buy it due to the fact that it looks a bit more solid than other products - with regards to the punchy-ness of the keys and also the dimensions when folded are less than other similar products (not including the depth...just the width/length)

The keyboard synced to my iPhone 6s Plus almost instantly.
I love being able to use a real keyboard. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was the keys are just a bit small for my fat old fingers. Others may not have that problem at all. The rechargeable battery seems to last forever.
I recommend this keyboard to anyone who prefers the feel, size, and layout of a real keyboard over the small touchscreen version on their phone or tablet.

I like how it's a foldable keyboard and the material feels nice and not cheap. But it feels really weird when you try to type since the keyboard is in half.. still trying to get used to it. Another reason why I like it because you only get to charge it 1 time and the charge will last you 3 months.

Light weight tablets are great for mobile users, but nothing beats a "real" keyboard. This Microsoft wireless foldable keyboard is a good solution. It's flat, light and folds up but still has good tactile feedback. The only drawback is the vertical fold in its center which takes a little getting used to. However, it's a small price to pay for not having to bang your fingers on a glass screen.

Great for laptops and the IPhone. Connects quickly. Would like a charge indicator to let you know when done charging and charge remaining.
