I bought this Microsoft Mobile Mouse 4000 to replace another really nice MS mouse I had but it started requiring 2 batteries every other week. This one fits my hand better, has the on/off switch, internal storage of the nano Wi-Fi USB, and only takes one AA battery. I do realize it is on the list of Microsoft Mice that has recently been reported as able to be hacked if someone is near you, but this is for my PC not for travel so I have no concern with that.

Simple mouse which connects flawlessly to a laptop. Long battery life and pinpoint accuracy.

I purchased this mouse to use everyday at work and have enjoyed every minute of it! It is a good size, not too small in your hand, but also small and light enough if you need to travel with it. The scroll wheel is smooth and doesn't click like most mice (this was one of my main criteria in searching for a new mouse). All the buttons click very efficiently in your hand. The third/aux thumb button is very useful and even can be programmed through the software to perform different functions in each different program (i.e. Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Windows Explorer). Finally, this mouse just looks very professional and elegant and doesn't have any bright lights or colors that would look obnoxious in a professional office. The best part of this mouse purchase is the pricing. It has all the technology and capabilities of the high-end mice, but is priced very reasonable, only slightly above the cheapest mice. I highly suggest this mouse to anyone because it would be perfect for any type of user (except maybe a hard-core gamer, but they probably already know this).

I was able to purchase this mouse for $2 which was a bargain for a name brand wireless mouse. My hands are on the smaller side so it fits my palm grip quite nicely and controls are in easily-accessible positions including the side button. Of course this may differ if your hands are larger. The underside features a convenient compartment for your USB receiver, an on/off switch, and a battery compartment that uses a single AA battery to power the mouse. Where this mouse loses points is in the middle scroll wheel. The feeling is soft and mushy with no feedback whatsoever so scrolling through a page feels inaccurate and it bounces around often. But for $2, I have to say it is convenient and I will continue to use it as a backup.

What I like the most about this particular wireless mouse is that my hand fits over it very nicely and comfortably. I had tried two others before this one, and both were not very well contoured to the shape of my hand. Also, I have found this mouse to be quite adaptable as to the kind of surface that it operates on, whether it be a mouse-pad, a paper surface, or a very shiny, smooth surface.

No more getting caught with the wires. A wireless mouse is pleasant and luxurious to operate. Responsive and accurate with all clicks. A great price.

This is a great everyday mouse it does not eat batteries and it works well.

This is my favorite mouse for everything. Own four or more. Its the right size for even bigger hands. Back button is great, and in the right spot. Pretty durable, dropped many times. The only time I have replaced is because of loss. Downfall, and probably not an issue for most, is multiple mice still need multiple dongles. I use three different mice on the same computer, home, office, backpack. So I have to use up 3 of my 4 USB ports on dongles.

Works fine. I use this exclusively with a work laptop and it has saved me a lot of time over using the trackpad. I've used this for about a month and even after forgetting to turn it off a few times, I'm still using the original battery that came with it. Curious how long it will last. Reasonably inexpensive.

This mouse is easy to use for just about anything. I purchase it because the mouse provided at work had a cord that was simply too short. This wireless mouse allows me to use it on any portion of my desk. The mouse itself picks up on even my slightest of movements. It fits perfectly in my hand. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This is a nice little wireless mouse, great reliability and price

When someone at my job stole my wired mouse off my desk, I was on the hunt for a good mouse that wouldn't break the bank. I have been using this mouse now for a couple months and it operates great! The wireless functionality works flawlessly and even though I have big hands, the mouse fits in my hand nicely. I would highly recommend this mouse.

I absolutely love the feel, quality & fit of this mouse. I had a Logitech for 2 weeks & the dongle broke off, in my computer. But this Microsoft 4000 is perfect. Seems to work on any surface & the buttons are easy to use with out reaching. I do wish they had different colors since my husband & I have the same mouse for each of our computers.

No, wait! I mean the Summary in a good way. Anytime you don't even have to think about a functional item purchased means that it is working in an efficient and reliable manner. The wireless mobile mouse was a good add-on purchase for my new laptop. As a road warrior, I have already put it though the paces.

I've been using it 12 hours a day for a month with no problems. It seems to work on just about any surface. I've read a lot of negative comments but have had no problems. My last Microsoft wireless mouse had even more negative comments and I never had problems with that one e. Finally decided to make it my backup mouse, 6 years and 5,000,000 left clicks later. I do a lot of photo editing and design.

This mouse is a delight to use, it's a quality built product by Microsoft and because of this, it feels/fits great in my hand especially considering the price and when compared to other mice at this price point. What I like most about this mouse is the back button, its hard to find a competing product at same price that include this function. Another factor, at least for me, is the ease or "give" in both the right or left click keys, on some mice I have a problem of clicking stuff at random when my hand is resting on the mouse, just the slightest bit of pressure will set off these random clicks and lots of them. But with this mouse and other Microsoft mice, they will not generate a click from such a small amount of pressure and I love this. It's also great to carry with you when traveling, in fact I purchased a second one the other day. Trust me, I dont think you will be disappointed with this mouse.

I love this mouse, im on my 3rd one, when they wear out I just buy another one
