I bought the controller for my little brother as a gift. He loves the controller, thinks its such a cool color. It works really well. Never breaks down or causes problems. Its easy to grip when playing video games.

The special forces controller is really all appearance, nothing different about the contours or operations of it - but it is a nice addition and pretty cool looking. I now use it as my primary controller.

This controllers looks awesome! I really enjoy the way it looks and feels. I have a pic controller and its identical to the Xboxone controllers. Except it doesn't look anywhere near as nice as this one.

Genuine Microsoft controller, with a nice looking camouflage pattern. Works great right out of the box. If anything, the quality of the plastic shell feels a little better than the original black controller.

My son was surprised when we ordered this additional controller for his new X-Box one. It is a great design really fun and according to him totally better than the standard one that comes with it.

Great controller for Xbox One with an awesome design and I especially love the built in headphone jack! Controller feels great in the hand and the Halo design effects look great. Highly recommend.

I like it. It looks cool and plays just like the original that came with my XBox One. Some comments have said it is slick or slippery, but I don't think so. It has a matte finish. I have the original black one that came with the XBox in my hand right now (along with the midnight forces blue one). I guess the original black one does have a slightly rougher matte finish. ... but I mean very slightly. If they weren't sitting right beside each other, I doubt you'd ever know the difference. .... If you're looking at this one, consider the black/grey Covert Forces controller. It's also cool looking and has some new features that the Armed Forces and Midnight Forces controllers don't have.

The design of this controller is great. Definitely a must buy for a halo fan in your family. I love the textured grip they added with this design, makes it easier to hold for long periods of time. It has a nicer weight to it than the regular xbox one controller. I do prefer the other limited edition design over this one but still great.

I have preferred the feel of the Xbox One controller best of all the current generation, PC compatible controllers.I am using the latest free drivers from Microsoft to use this controller with Windows10. The majority of games support this controller natively and Steam Big Picture mode is great console-like interface that also supports this controller. This is the latest model which has built-in 3.5mm headphone jack intended for Xbox users to be able to connect existing headphones. The good news is that this function works in Windows 10 and late night gaming can be done by simply plugging in a headphone to the 3.5mm and selecting the audio output in Windows.

At launch, I opted for the PS4 but was able to afford to pick up an Xbone about 6 months later. The PS4 controller, while lacking rumble triggers and having the extremely annoying design flaw of the controller resting on it's triggers, was my preferred controller due to it's lightness in-hand and the comfort and ease of using the shoulder buttons (L1 & R1). The Xbone controller, on the other hand, felt heavier and those shoulder buttons needed some serious pull to activate. On your common FPS where shoulders are generally mapped as grenade or melee this was a problem and one that I've been hating since I picked up the Xbone. I was also having headphone issues with the old Xbone controller since it lacked the 3.5mm headphone jack without buying the $25 adapter. This new Halo 5 controller, of course, looks amazing; it's really beautiful even for a (gasp) non-Halo fan like myself. It also has the 3.5mm headphone jack. They did some very subtle design tweaks to the controller so that it feels slightly lighter and the paint / design of this specific controller makes it feel amazing in your hands. And best of all, they fixed the shoulder buttons! Shoulder buttons are very light and easy to press now and wow it is a significant improvement to my gaming. With an adapter, you can even use this controller on the PC. The Xbone controller is without a doubt the better controller now vs the PS4 imho. Also, as an added treat, the controller came with an in-game content surprise code for Halo 5 which I will probably eventually play.

This is a best buy exclusive color. I was looking for a different camo controller and this was perfect. It looks sweet. For a controller itself, it functions exactly like any other one.

So I have purchased the Special Forces controllers and I must say I liked those better for feel in that the rumble felt stronger. This controller is great too though. I comes with in game bonuses, looks sleek, controls well, and does give you a an edge compared to the base controller. That being said though, the paint job is shiny and can get sweaty faster than the matte finished controllers like the other special edition controllers. I also recommend thumb pads to round out this controller for extra comfort. Especially for FPS and Action games. Overall a great addition to the Xbox One and of course a great edition for Halo fans.

Whenever I purchase a used controller from GameStop the buttons always get stuck not sure why but I recomend buying new this controllers been solid looks super cool too buy it!

What can I say. It does what it needs to do in style. Lookso amazing feels amazing and it's a must buy for any one who loves Halo or just to collect. Best looking controller.

I found this on a Christmas Special. I couldn't pass up the Sale Price. I've been very happy with the quality of this Control. The look and feel is very good as well. Great Product.

I've never been a fan of flashy controllers. I tend to stick with the OEM look, and outside of headsets, I never buy 3rd party accessories anymore because they are usually not very durable. Not buying 3rd party items usually means I pay the premium of buying OEM. I avoided that problem by getting this controller on Cyber Monday for $39.99. They were sold out of the standard black controller, so I got this one Instead. It's made by Microsoft, so the only difference from my original controller is the color. I had my doubts, but after a few weeks, I like the subtle but different pattern. If you can get it at a good price, go for it.

Microsoft sure does know how to make an excellent game controller. I've never had hand fatigue while using one of these. plus the halo decals on this look pretty cool.

This controller looks and feels so amazing. It is so nice to look at. The xbox controllers have always been my favorite and the xbox one controller continues the legacy.

It's a controller. It controls things. I'm a big guy so it may feel a little small in my hand, but nothing detrimental. The pattern is interesting looking but does not improve my lousy skills. And this version does have the newer 3.5 headphone jack, so that's a good bonus if you're a big headphone user.

This controller seems to hold up pretty well considering the amount of use it gets on a daily basis. However the only thing I notice is over several weeks of continuous use the battery life on a full charge does tend to wear a bit more and that requires charging the battery sooner rather than later.
