I bought this one instead of others because the design is beautiful! I haven't played Gears prior to this but it's actually quite fun. I love everything about the system & the things I don't love, which i will mention aren't a big deal. 1. Menu is not as speedy as I would like, it has froze for 10 seconds while creating an Avatar. 2. My stand bottom had small particles around the black foam that holds it in place on the bottom. Not sure where from but i will take photos to note this. *note, the particles were also on the xbox. Also I'm not talking about the beautiful design on the bottom of the Xbox, Pictures capture what I mean below. Overall I love my xbox & am happier than I thought i would be, i bought this for the 4k abilities. Even though its a little slower than i would hope to see in the menu everything else runs super smooth.

What can I say about This Xbox one X? It’s an amazing console and I am very happy to own this since right now retailers are no longer selling this brand new! The start up sounds is cool lol however at first I thought it sounded like a toilet flushing ha ha it’s supposed to sound like the Lancer revving up the chainsaw. It performs faster then the One S I also have.

I got the One S edition awhile back but I have always wanted an X. Finally gears made one and it has a pretty nice design. It comes with all previous gears of war games which was nice. I really like the controller the grip on it is so much better than the S editions.

I have the previous Gears of war 4 bundle. Am amazed by the details and the good work MS has done to it. Pretty looking and worth my money. Was lucky to pre-ordered it and got it on release day.

Received my console on early release date. Pictures do not do this console justice! The 3D Geard skull actually appears as if it's under ice and the cracks throughout the console are engraved so, you can feel it if you run your fingers over it. If you're a crazy special edition console addict like me, then this is definitely one for the collection! Best Buy is the right place to purchase! Hassle free!

This was a Christmas present for a loved one. He loved it and it comes with lots of freebies. The console looks great and I think I might buy my little one a similar bundle!! Thanks for a great deal!

So this is my 2nd xbx1 with the 1st being the gears of war 4 xbx1s ed. and that was good but certain games like sekiro would lag a lot (a lot since it never happened on my ps4pro) so at the price it was a great offer for a xbx1x plus its the gears one. the controller it comes with is by and far the best xbx controller i've used (bought 3 more later that day) its got a slim rubber grip on the back of controller that makes it feel just right. the bad is xbx operating system: i spent more time the 1st 2 days trying to log into my acc than playing and it wasn't the internet (hardwired in and vould go to my other systems and get right on) pretty much had to do a full factory reset to get this problem to go away. other thing is that for some reason microsoft puts codes for a few services in with the console but with expiration dates on them (could not use any of them) and microsoft support wont give u new ones and say its the store's fault

This is my first console..... I like the special edition texture on the console and the controller vibrations are awesome, i am liking the game as well... still long way to go to share more experiences. Got it for a best deal at best buy..

Quality of hardware and cosmetics are excellent and would recommend console to others. Free content also helps.

If you play a lot of games and want the absolute best performing console especially for multiplatform games, this is the console for you. it comes with vouchers for gears 5 and all the other gears of war games in the series. it also comes with vouchers for game pass and xbox live gold. It's a beautiful system, it looks as if the gears skull is submerged in ice. the controller is great looking too and features a grip so the controller won't slip much in your hands. Strongly recommend.

At the $350 Black Friday price along with a gift card and a three months of Xbox live, this was an easy purchase. At the above price, it is a far better deal than piecing together a PC that provides similar performance. So to conclude, if you want a hassle-free experience and do not have the time to purchase, assemble and tweak a PC then the Xbox One X for $350 is a steal.

I’ve been a fan of the Gears series since the first one back in 2006. I’ve enjoyed every iteration since and will continue to do so. This review is solely for the console, not the game itself. This console has to be THE best and most highly detailed console I’ve ever owned. Every console I own in my house is a collectors or special edition and this one takes the cake. The omen on the top is superb craftsmanship. The details in the paint and laser etched ice cracks makes it stand out so much more. It makes a cracking ice sound when you turn it on and slightly different ice sound when you turn it off. Those sounds, are what I’d guess are the most lacking. This does not come with a stand but I have mine propped up with the Scorpio Edition stand its an excellent way to show it off. The controller is awesome and a welcome edition to the Xbox’s huge controller selection. It has rubberized grips on the back and textured grips on the triggers. As Kait is my favorite from the new games, I really appreciate this controller.

My 2014 Xbox one finally kicked the bucket. Headed to my local Best Buy and grabbed this beautiful machine. Runs so smooth and quiet. I definitely notice a difference in graphic but keep in mind you need a 4K tv to see the difference. I like the included Gears of War games too!

It's like any xbox one x beside a cool design and it has a cool ice crack sound effect when you start it. Great console i had xbox one and the graphics had a big difference so happy i purchased.

This xbox runs fast and looks great. Games load faster over the Xbox one. The controller's textured grips are a nice addition over the smooth ones of the original. The skull image give this Xbox One X the look at should have.

First off I am a big gears of war fan, so this was perfect for me. It is a great way to get all the gears if war games to start off with and go through the campaigns. Some will pull at your heartstrings and others will give you a rush when fighting. The console is a cool design and controller (1) is also very unique color design. The. Console has a different sound for the on mode and the graphics are way better connected to a 4k tv, which are low in price now. The sound gas also been upgraded for the older xone console. All in all I am very pleased with the games and console. Highly recommended for the gears of war fans or those who want to get into the story line.

This xbox is a must own if you are a gears fan! Already impressed with the one x performance this custom console is a must have for collectors. From its textured underside to the transparent emblem on the front this is top down everything that makes gears great. Fast loading times, great graphics, 4k support, and great performance are all built in! The custom controller is a great addition to this setup. Not to mention the entire gears of war series including the deluxe edition of gears 5. If you love gears and want one of the best custom xbox's on the market this is one to surely add to your collection.
