Greatest console since the Xbox 360!

If you loved the Xbox 360 (minus the red ring of death lol), you’ll LOVE this console! It feels like the true return of Xbox to the greatness of gaming that it once was. I own the Series X and PS5. While I love both, there is no denying that I get way more value and use out of the Xbox. The SSD in the Xbox is in practice almost as fast as the PS5’s (barely any noticeable difference, and definitely none in the games). PS5’s SSD is much faster on paper, but I just haven’t seen the significant benefits of it over the Xbox yet. Maybe we will one day, but I figured we would have seen at least some significant advantage in that deparment for the PS5 by now, but we simply have not. Xbox Series X beats the PS5 in power everywhere else though. The only places where PS5 beats the Xbox Series X in hardware specifications is the SSD and the Wifi 6 card (although my PS5 is always lagging, so I don’t see any advantage here for the PS5 at all. My Xbox hardly ever lags connected to the Wifi). I’ve found the Xbox Series X to have way less frame stutter than the PS5 as well. Additionally, games are starting to look and perform better on Xbox Series X compared to PS5 as well, although it took about a year (at least it’s finally happening, though, and that should be the trend going forward!). The Xbox also has better features than PS5 (the UI is better functionally, quick resume is amazing, and playing with friends is a lot easier on Xbox). The DualSense controller for the PS5 is nice, but the new haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features slowly faded away for me over time. They are nice features though, and I do hope that Xbox implements them in future iterations of their controllers. I don’t find it to personally be a dealbreaker. The PS5 DualSense has better controller features, but the Xbox controller is much more comfortable to use for a long or short period of time. All in all, the Xbox Series X just cannot be beat for features, friends, online connectivity, GamePass (incredible value, entirely optional and not necessary to have in order to love the Xbox), console design, controller comfort, and all around fun factor. If you can only get one of the consoles (Xbox Series X|S or PS5), as an owner of both, I highly recommend the Xbox!

AMAZING! Gamepass is second to none, the ssd is blazing fast, the quick resume feature is mind blowing fast...instant load in to any game you had previously been playing. Fully back compatible, as well as 4k upgrades to previous gen titles.
The Series X runs completely silent, and the UI is easy and super fast to operate, as well as staying connected to all and any apps you need. The controller is the best controller on the market, the subtle improvements have perfected an already great controller over the previous gen.
This system is worth every penny!

Unmatched Performance and Visuals – The Ultimate C

The Xbox Series X has blown me away in every aspect! From the moment I powered it on, I was immersed in a gaming experience like no other. The 4K picture quality is simply stunning—games look absolutely lifelike with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and amazing clarity. Whether I’m exploring the vast world of Fallout 4 or engaging in intense battles in Call of Duty, the visual fidelity is unmatched.
But what really sets the Series X apart is the frame rate performance. The smoothness of the gameplay, especially in fast-paced titles like Call of Duty, is a game-changer. The 120 FPS capability makes everything feel incredibly responsive and fluid. Even older games like Fallout 4 have been enhanced to run at a silky-smooth 60 FPS, and the difference is night and day. No more lag or stuttering—just pure, seamless gameplay.
The ease of use is another major win for the Series X. The quick setup, intuitive interface, and Quick Resume feature let me jump right back into my favorite games in seconds. Switching between titles feels effortless, and the load times are practically non-existent thanks to the SSD.
Overall, the Xbox Series X delivers in every category—picture quality, frame rate, and ease of use. It’s the ultimate console for anyone looking to experience the next generation of gaming, and I can’t recommend it enough! This is hands down the best gaming investment I’ve ever made.

After spending an entire month with my brand new Xbox Series X, I have to say that this console is such a great piece of hardware. The Xbox Series X has lived up to, all of its hype surrounding the new console back when it was revealed at the Game Awards 2019. With that said, the console is whisper quiet even while playing graphical intensive games like, Gears 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Resident Evil 2: Remake, it doesn't matter...it's super quiet. The best part about the Xbox Series X is, the massive backlog of games it has due to Microsoft's dedication to Backwards Compatibility as well. And not only do older Xbox and Xbox 360 games look better, but they get a huge boost in loading and overall performance. With that said, the new Xbox Series X so far has made a first great impression on me, and I believe that the console and its games is only going to get better in the near future. Also, with the reveal of new games in development such as Avowed, Bright Memory Infinite, Fable, Halo Infinite, Perfect Dark, Scorn, State of Decay 3, etc. I think this new generation of Xbox is going to, absolutely deliver great first-party games to their fans across the board.

I'm very impressed with what the Series X has to offer. I'd gone with Playstation for the last several generations and felt very underwhelmed by the PS5 design and what it has to offer.
The backwards compatiblity support is amazing and I am catching up on the 360/XB1 exclusives I missed in the best possible way on a 4K TV.
While it's a big console, the shape and design are easy to work with. It also runs cool and quiet.
I was a little worried about using batteries in the controllers, but having a batch of rechargeable AAs around is very easy to work with. Unlike with the Playstation controllers, I don't need an extra one for battery emergencies. The rechargeable batteries last for days between charges. It's also cool that XB1 controllers work on the Series X.
I would actually recommend this to PS4 owners who aren't overwhelmingly thrilled about the PS5. It has a lot more to offer right now in the way of exclusives you probably didn't play yet and it is much, much easier to get one (Fall 2021).
Included pictures of it against my PS4 Pro to help get an idea of its dimensions.

Love it! All of my old games are backwards compatible. NBA2K21 looks incredible even on a 1080p TV. So, I don’t get full advantage of 4K features... games do look better on Xbox Series X compared to Xbox One.
I played MK11 on PS4 for hours and hours. It looks so much better on Xbox Series X running the ‘Ultimate’ disc.
Load times are amazingly fast. The controller while familiar is very nice feeling in hand.
All of my old games were ready to download once connected to the internet.

4K Quality + Beast Performance for the Family Room

A superb addition to the family room tv! Powerfully produces quality gameplay in 4K as advertised, From newer games like Forza Horizon 5 to classics like the Rare collection on Xbox 360, it all works great. Loading screens have been a pain in the past, but with this console, less time needed to wait.
On the Best Buy side of things, I had to queue in as it was a “high volume item” even after 2 years later. The only downside was that I couldn’t add 24 month financing when I purchased it initially (but with their customer service, it was straighten out), so caution on that. Otherwise, I was able to easily pick it up at my usual Best Buy store when it was ready.
Pros: 4K looks beautiful, yet the performance is way ahead of the previous generations of the Xbox.
Cons: Be mindful that this might be a high volume item on this site and not available to pick up at the store right away.
Verdict: Definitely a must have for the family room consoles. Tons of games to play, and with Gamepass, expanding your opportunity to game, and streaming options are available for entertainment.

The Xbox Series X addresses the Xbox One X's weakest point: speed. It has a powerful CPU in addition to its monstrous GPU and has a built-in SSD. You'll be impressed with the speed from the get-go. The initial setup was super fast and it even allows you to copy settings from the cloud that is backed up from your previous console.
You'll be up and running in no time, and if you are a Gamepass subscriber, you'll have great games to play such as Gears Tactics & Tetris Connected. You'll have to be patient though as they download or as you apply the Series X optimization patches. While the delay of Halo Infinite's launch left a big hole in the launch lineup, it did not really bother me as I have more than enough launch games to play. Yakuza Like a Dragon is quite fun and looks fantastic on the console. While not a graphical showcase, Tetris Connected manages to look quite cool and flashy and is incredibly addicting with numerous online and solo game modes.
The backward compatibility truly shines and it is a joy going back to some of your favorite titles that perform better now with the power of the Series X. Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5 never looked so good at 4K-60fps. The new controller is not a big change, but since I use the Elite 2 anyways, that didn't bother me all too much. I quite like how the new controller feels and it seems they made some minor yet meaningful tweaks to it overall. The bumpers seem more responsive to me and the share button is a useful addition.
I am looking forward to seeing what's next for this powerful console, and I am very impressed with the overall package so far. Cheers

I must say I am very pleased with the power and speed of this new system. The new controller feels so much better and is a lot more responsive than the old controller. I tried playing Destiny 2 on my Xbox One x and could barely aim using the old controller. The load times are also lighting fast. I was able to get a nice TV with the HDMI 2.1 feature and the most up to date graphics and it looks amazing!

It's a monster I hope everyone reading these/this gets one soon I couldn't imagine not having mine. If your strictly a console gamer welcome to a playing games the way they've been meant to be played. The backwards compatibility features will keep you plenty entertained till games actually start dropping. The tech definitely trump's the PS5 (I have both not rubbing it in just letting it be known I say this from experience) backwards compatible games that aren't optimized still get a little something sometimes a lot on XBSX. Now on to the good stuff optimized games put you close to PC gaming Destiny 2 for instance at 60FPS increased FOV and 120FPS in crucible you will notice immediately and be mad your just now experiencing the game that way and instantly understanding why PC gamers have been obnoxiously trolling you in threads. The thing is whisper quite and I've yet to get the thing even remotely hot which isn't a feature but let's me know it isn't even bring remotely pushed even on a optimized game so the future is looking bright there. Also console only players welcome to the SSD no more waiting forever for games to load which gives you more to play the game instead of lose your patience I'm talking to you Elder Scrolls online.

Great system. I’m an older gamer and the progress we have made in gaming just amazes me. The graphics are mind blowing, and the 120fps on supported games is nice. I do recommend you get a tv with hdmi 2.1 ports that supports 4K at 120fps. This so you can fully take advantage of the features of this console. I have an LGCX 55 inch which is an awesome TV for this console. I love the quick resume feature where you can switch between games and not lose any progress. Just pick right up where you were at when you switched between games. I like the fact that it is backwards compatible with a lot of my previous console titles. The disc drive is nice to watch blu ray movies on and to play the game titles you have on disc. Gamepass is a must have addition for your console especially with all the perks, games, and trials. A lot of great titles to play right now that demonstrate the power of this console. Hopefully the availability will get better as time goes on. I highly recommend this console.

Purchased just recently on sale and I’m not disappointed one bit. Everything is transferable from your last generation Xbox console so setup is super simple. And even if this your first time using an Xbox, I would say it’s still easy and intuitive. Having a 4k display w/ 120Hz refresh rate is optimal and is the only way to achieve 120fps and UHD settings for your games, but even without such a setup, most games still look super crisp and run smoothly 60fps. Ray tracing looks amazingly detailed and along with the UHD capabilities, is one of the console’s most notable features. This alone has been worth the upgrade for me. Now add the fact the series x version comes equipped with a 1 Terabyte hard drive as it’s standard with the ability to increase storage space via compatible external hard drive, and you have a beast of a gaming console. The series x also comes with the benefit of being able to use physical game disks, so if you do happen to have a collection of Xbox games you can use as well with no problems. As an added bonus, Xbox one or Xbox one x games that have a free series x upgrade will prompt you to download the upgrade once downloading starts. All of this should really leave you with just one logical conclusion . . . Go out and pick yourself up a Series X!

Runs very well, has a lot more storage than i was initially expecting, definitely has better graphics on games i normally play. The only down sides is i wish it came with a USB cord, like my brother got when he purchased his xbox x from a different store and the fact that with a Playstation when you get the PSplus subscription you get to keep your downloaded free included games that normally cost money even after you cancel the subscription when you dont have the money it or just dont want it anymore, while with the Xbox game pass you aren't allowed to play the games you download and put money into while playing it after you cancel it, like whats the point of paying monthly to play it for "free" when u could just save up and buy the game to have it without having to worry about keeping up with each month. I get that some people are saying its if you finish the game and want to uninstall it get another one for free but everyone takes a different amount of time to finish a game (especially if you work it will take longer than a few months) so for most non pro gamers it would take you about the same amount of money during each month to buy two to five and up games (normally costs like 60 to 80$ online for one) while you are still trying to finish one game, but sometimes offers fairly good discounts though. Otherwise im obsessed

Best Console Ever Made! Incredibly fast load times, sleek design, zero fan noise, amazing graphics, FPS boost, smart delivery and quick resume make this console feel like a super computer. Pair that with the tremendous value Game Pass is you really can’t beat it. There is a vast amount of games you can choose from with the only problem you’ll run into is making room for all of them! I used to be a die hard PlayStation fan but got my first taste Xbox last gen and I loved it. Transitioning from my old Xbox to the Series X (thanks to smart delivery) was so seamless I did it all through an app. All my games left off in the exact spot I left them in on my old Xbox (google smart delivery and you’ll see just how amazing it is.) You can also download and delete games from your storage from your smart phone! The Series X further solidifies my loyalty to Xbox now. This is a truly tremendous feat by Microsoft and hopefully y’all can grab it ASAP.

The Series X is truly a new experience

I used to own an Xbox One X and some people will say that it was close enough to the Series X that it wasn’t a worthwhile upgrade since these are expensive and hard to get. Well let me put those claims to rest. While, yes, this console feels very similar to the One X when you fire it up, once you get into a game, it’s a whole new experience. One of my favorite games from last gen is Forza Horizon 4 and even though you could do 4K30fps and 1080p60fps on the One X, being able to do 4K60fps on the Series X makes it feel like a completely different game. The speeds that this console operates at are truly next level. One of my all time favorite games is the original Star Wars Battlefront II. I have that game for the original Xbox and it works on the Series X! But it works exceptionally well. It’s scary fast. I swear, I spent a collective 3 months of my life waiting for that game to load when I was young. The loading screen barely appears before the entire match is already on your screen with the Series X. It’s so fast that the loading screen is almost a flash on the screen. Of course, younger me is furious at how fast it is, knowing how many times I would just get up and grab a drink or a snack while it was loading. But older me has to start planning out the drinks and snacks before even turning on the console because the days of long loading times are gone, and that makes me extremely happy. It may feel like an Xbox One at first glance, but let me tell you, it is nothing like an Xbox One when you start really comparing speed and graphical quality. Pair it with an Elite Series 2 Controller and you’re in for a great time. Worthwhile leisure investment, 100%.

After being a computer gamer for forever. I became a dad and needed a console to fill my gaming habits. I immediately bought a one X and loved it. After getting an lg oled C9 I knew I wanted to make the jump to the series x or ps5. I ended up getting the series x and I’m so glad that I did. Everything plays amazing! I didn’t think it was going to be such a large improvement graphically and performance wise, but it truly is. If you own a tv that supports 120fps I would buy the series x in a heartbeat. I’m beyond excited to see the future of true next gen games in a year or two. If you don’t have a top of the line tv. I would wait a year or so and upgrade your tv before upgrading to the series x so you can get the full benefit of wait this amazing system can can give, but either way upgrading to it now or later you simply won’t regret it.

I bought the **Xbox Series X** as a Christmas gift for my husband last year, and it turned out to be the best gift ever! He’s been using it every day since December, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s performing. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is super smooth, and the load times are practically non-existent.
What made this gift even more special was the fact that I ordered it just a week before Christmas, and it still arrived on time—such a relief during the holiday rush! My husband was over the moon when he opened it, and he even teared up with joy. Seeing his reaction made everything worth it.
So far, he hasn’t had any issues with the console, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our home entertainment setup. If you’re thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it!
