Syncs rapidly with the newer XSX controllers and provides a much more reliable connection than BT. Allows use of multiple controllers at once (I've only tried 2).

Fixed Connectivity Problems with my Elite Series 2

My Xbox Elite Series 2 controller was having latency issues with bluetooth connectivity on my PC. I didn't want a dongle, but I tried this out anyway. It solved my connectivity issues with the added bonus of giving my controller extended range (all the way into another room on a different floor of my house). Syncing the Wireless Adapter and the controller is simple. Plug the dongle into a spare USB port, press the home button on your controller, press the button on the end of the dongle (a small light will start to flash one the dongle), and press the sync button on your Elite Series 2 controller. When the home button on your controller stops flashing and stays lit, you're connected and good to go. This pairing works across PC's...so if you have multiple PC's in your home and frequently move between them you can plug this wireless adapter into whichever PC you're going to use and the pairing is still there. This is definitely better than bluetooth in that you don't have to pair the controller via bluetooth every time you change PC's. You may have to install the Xbox Accessories App for Windows on each of your PC's for the controller to work on a given machine, but you need the software to customize your controller buttons anyway, so it's no big deal. Like I said, I didn't want a USB dongle...especially given that the $180 Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller is supposed to connect via bluetooth, but I'm very happy with this Wireless Adapter anyway. I recommend it to anyone that uses an Elite Series 2 Controller to play games on PC.

Does what it says. Useful if your pc doesn't have bluetooth but you want to use the excellent xbox controller. Easy to use pretty much plug and play.

I love this thing. It's zero hassle. You can connect via Bluetooth without the aid of this device, but the performance is lackluster at best. With this handy little guy, you put your controllers in pairing mode, press the button on this adapter, and a few seconds later you're connected. It's way faster and easier. It supports several controllers at once trouble free on a single adaptor. We've never missed a beat with 4 connected at once. I use it with an HTPC/Gaming setup in the living room.

After chasing around cheaper aftermarket ones and coming up with bad connectivity issues, just get this. 1 minute or so from pugging it in, to paring my Xbox one controller it was ready to play.

Originally l bought for my controller for desktop gaming before I added a bluetooth adapter. Now I use it for my Xbox headset. Purchased a few years ago and it still works like a dream.

This product is very easy to setup. It recognized my Xbox controller right away and has worked flawlessly ever since. It is much slimmer than the older model. Plus you can attach more than one bluetooth device to it simultaneously.

Wireless adapter is necessary for the controller to work on the WIN 10, or else you need the hardwire. I bought both the wireless adapter and the wire so I can use both for the TV connected to computer. The wifi on the computer is too weak to get the signal after a few feet. Found that out after I bought the controller. It adds up, better to bundle everything. Not buying the Xbox, rather spend the money on a computer build. Also not getting the Xbox during the pandemic. All the computer components are getting ridiculous prices. Shuffle...is a dance not to get in line to get product. This is also the newer adapter for the newer controller. It must match your controller or else you'll be doing the yoyo dance.

If you have a pc, and use an xbox controller: YOU NEED ONE OF THESE. Especially if you ever plan to play with two controllers at the same time.

I always used my XBox One controllers with bluetooth on my computer so I didn't have to have a dongle, but EVERY computer I used my controllers on with bluetooth had some sort of issue or another. Sometimes it wouldn't connect, sometimes it would lose connection, other times I would have to repair it all together. With the Wireless adapter, I get a lot better range. Also, it connects almost instantly every time now, and I have never had my controllers lose connection. Well worth it to have a reliable connection all the time. It also helps that this adapter is MUCH smaller than the original one, so it doesn't take up as much room anymore.

Love the new smaller size! I'm using it with my Elite 2 on a high end gaming rig and have had good results so far. Easy to sync and never had a disconnect issue. Great upgrade over the bulky original! Almost bought it from another massive online retailer until I read the reviews. Some recieved the older model and some recieved cheap knock-offs. I'm finished ordering electronics from that place named after a river, their practices are swampy! Best Buy has always treated me good!!!
