Works great. I had to search hard for the driver pkg. Other than that, it's been great.

I bought this adapter after I found the bluetooth capability of the new Xbox One S controller I bought was not up to par. I had horrible lag, inability to pair, and range issues over bluetooth. However, this adapter works just like a wireless controller does on Xbox One, excellent range and no lag or pairing problems. After plugging it into your computer you press a button on the adapter and the pairing button on the controller in order to sync the controller to your computer. It's the same process as pairing a controller to an actual Xbox One. It is a rather big adapter, might be too big if you were using it with a laptop. I have it plugged into the back of my desktop so it is out of sight.

    Extremely Useful Gadget

Works just like it says: you simply plug the sucker into your computer, hit the sync button (just like on your Xbox itself) and it recognizes your Xbox One wireless controller. Using a wireless controller for computer gaming is a simple pleasure. Not getting tangled up in USB cables or the like is extremely useful, as accidentally knocking your controller's cable out at the wrong moment can lead to heartache and defeat. This small box simply sits on your desk out of the way, while you wirelessly mash away at whatever game you're playing. The only real downside is the need for extra batteries to power your controller, or the need to occasionally plug in manually to recharge your batteries, depending on whether you're running a rechargeable battery or switching out AA's. But other than that minor inconvenience, this is an extremely useful item, and I definitely recommend it.

This is overall a great product. It is reasonably priced at $25 with a good connection range. It does have a lot of trouble connecting to controllers for the first time or reconnecting when moving locations (i.e. to another port or computer). When it does connect properly, the response time is fast, and the connection is stable, with very little lag or interference. I am disappointed Microsoft will not release drivers for older operating systems, right now it only works with Windows 10. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros: Ease of use, No Bloatware, No software to install, Plug n' play, works with Steam, works for Xbox One Streaming Cons: tad bulky, hard to find product ( I went to four different stores), Must have Windows 10 I only consider this a con because it's a requirement even though Windows 10 is AWESOME. It took too long for this product to come out they should have had it available when the Xbox One was released or at least when Windows 10 was released.

This product is a must have for any PC gamer who plays a lot of games that are better suited for a controller and hates having cords all over the place. It works perfect with the Xbox one controller. I cant help but feel like a wireless connection could have already been obtained with the computers Bluetooth capabilities, but Microsoft likes to put out these kind of accessories, and hopefully they make for a more stable experience.

There isn't much to say about this. It will let you use your Xbox one controller on your pc wirelessly . setup is easy but it's losing one star because for now (as far as I've researched) it can only be used in Windows 10. Also something that the instructions don't tell you is that you need to update the firmware of the controller on the pc. I couldn't get game audio to come through the headset connected to the controller. To solve this there is an app on the windows store called Xbox accessiories. Download it and you will then be able to update the controllers firmware and use the headset jack in the controller. On the witcher 3 however cut scenes still play audio through the speakers , could be an issue with that particular game though. All and all still worth the 25 bucks to use your controller wirelessly on your computer.

Awesome device to use your Xbox One controller on a PC. Made by Microsoft to work with Microsoft. Plug the device into your PC let it download whatever it needs. Turn your controller on, press the sync button, then press the sync button on the wireless adapter and your set! Also if you have a controller with a headphone port, the sound will get transmitted through the adapter.

Wish it wasn't so big in the sense that it sticks out like a sore thumb. I feel that if your not careful you could potentially snap it off your computer if you brushed by it. Other than that it connects to my Xbox one controller very well, I haven't had any issues with it dropping connection yet and is very responsive to gameplay. Most newer games even automatically sense when a controller is being used, which I think the thanks belongs to Microsoft and Windows 10. Works for 7, 8, and 8.1 as well.

I loved the original adapter for the Xbox 360 controller so I expected nothing less. The experience is even better, couldn't be happier. Best buys availability made it easy to get and the unit itself supports multiple controllers with one adapter. Really couldn't be happier, well worth the money for pc gaming.

I use this for the Xbox One and some PC game playing. I love that I have no cables. It syncs easily, no drivers configuration, it just works. When I said I use this for the Xbox One, on Windows 10 you can stream Xbox One to the desktop. When the TV is being used, play from your computer. It works just as well, as long as you have a network to support it.

Does all it needs to do, its a quick setup from plugging into the PC, to connecting the controller and start playing games. Its easy to check which games in Steam are compatible with controllers so its nice. Overall to have a break from keyboard and mouse and to just chill with a single controller from the couch it can't be beat.

I bought this along with the play and charge Xbox one pad since my 360 wireless receiver went bad. This installed very easily and connected to my new controller in no time. Worth every penny as I can't stand using wired controllers.

I use this for wireless functionality of the xbox one controller on my desktop PC. My current rig does not have built in bluetooth, so this was a necessity. Plugged it and, synced the controller and it works great. The range is great. The item itself is a little bit bulky, so I would not recommend for a laptop. Also, I think if you have bluetooth functionality built into your pc / laptop; you might not need this for the xbox one controller to work with your setup.

The cord that comes with the xbox one controller doesn't last long and finding a micro USB cable that matched it 's length was a bit of a problem so i decided I would try the wireless adapter. I did and i am more than satisfied with the range, convenience, and ease of installation and pairing. With windows 10 drivers are downloaded, installation is a breeze, and unlike the 360 controller's wireless solution this works seamlessly.
