Microsoft really hit this one out of the ballpark, I just got these in today and right away they are my favorite headsets for gaming. I really like this for a few reasons: 1. Price: at $99 Microsoft I wouldn’t say is taking a loss, but any other headset manufacture would sell these for at least $150 if bot $200 2. Confortable: These fit perfectly on my head, I have trouble with other headsets (i have an average head) as they clamp down on my head so much that it gives me a headache only after a few minutes of gaming, these don’t have that problem. 3. Sound: crisp and clear, and with the help of the Xbox app (The same one where you can customize the Elite controllers) you’re able to tinker with the sound, at its highest these things are super loud, with great bass if you so choose if not you can tone that down as well. 4. Battery: since I just got this I don’t know how long the battery will last, but I’m sure it’ll at least be decent. I’ll update this later if necessary. 5. Build Quality: this is a no-frills headset, it only does one thing and one thing well and that is sound great for gaming.. The plastics feel premium and the (what im sure is fake leather) material it’s good enough, they are soft and fit well around my ears, they also mute everything around me and only lets me concentrate on the game. 6. Mic: The mic works good, and everybody can hear me, but it might take some getting used to for some people, it only folds up and wraps around the left ear cup to get them out of the way, A mute button ensures that people don’t listen when you don’t want them to, It doesn’t extend in or out or detach. The quality is such that I’m sure these things can be folded up and down thousands of times with no problems Very happy with these headsets, they are a great price, great build, and the best part is they are completely wireless, they pair to the Xbox exactly how you would Perry controller, you just hold down the button for a few seconds and that’s it. Make sure you mess with the sound settings on the app if you don’t find them sounding great right away.

Xbox wireless headset with Dolby Atmos for gaming!

Wow these headphones are dope. I didn’t want to spend more than a bill on a headset. I wanted a headset for my Xbox and pc. You’ll have to tweak the settings asap because it’s bass heavy out the box. YouTube the best settings. I decided to include the Dolby atmos from the Microsoft store to enhance the sound. DTS is also an option. I paired it to my Xbox and PC without any trouble. I’m not an expert on audiophile but these sound great with Dolby atmos. You can control the volume on the right side and balance the game/person chat on the left. The only negative is the mic is short. The headphones are comfortable but after 2 hours I need to take them off for a moment. Best part is the wireless, I can walk around without any wires issues.

The Microsoft Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset in the Starfield Edition is a sleek and stylish headset that delivers an immersive and high-quality audio experience for gamers. With its compatibility for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10|11, it offers versatility for different gaming platforms. First and foremost, let's talk about the sound quality. The Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset provides clear and balanced audio, allowing you to hear every detail in your games. The headset is equipped with custom-tuned 50mm drivers that deliver rich and immersive soundscapes, whether it's the booming explosions in an action-packed game or the subtle background music in an atmospheric adventure. The headset features spatial audio technology, which further enhances the gaming experience. With this technology, you'll have a better sense of direction and spatial awareness, making it easier to locate enemies or immerse yourself in the virtual world. Additionally, the headset supports Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X for an even more immersive audio experience. Comfort is a crucial aspect of any gaming headset, and the Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset excels in this area. It features a lightweight design with soft and breathable ear cushions that provide long-lasting comfort, even during extended gaming sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit for different head sizes, and the ear cups can be rotated to fit comfortably around your ears. Another standout feature is the wireless connectivity. With Xbox Wireless technology, you can connect the headset directly to your Xbox console without the need for a separate dongle. The connectivity is reliable and has minimal lag, ensuring a seamless gaming experience. The headset also offers Bluetooth connectivity, so you can use it with your mobile devices or PCs for gaming or listening to music. The battery life of the Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset is impressive, offering up to 15 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Additionally, a quick charge feature allows you to get around 4 hours of use with just a 30-minute charge, ensuring that you won't be interrupted during your gaming sessions. One minor drawback of the headset is the lack of some premium features like active noise cancellation. While the headset offers good noise isolation, it doesn't completely block out all external sounds. However, this doesn't significantly affect the overall gaming experience. In conclusion, the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset in the Starfield Edition is a remarkable headset that provides excellent sound quality, comfort, and wireless connectivity. Whether you're gaming on an Xbox console or a PC, this headset delivers immersive audio for a truly engaging gaming experience. With its stylish design and impressive battery life, it's a great option for gamers who want a quality headset that combines style and performance.

If you have a Xbox, this headset is a must have! I hooked these up to my Xbox One S as soon as I got home, and I was blown away! I'm still listening to them right out the box at a %50 charge, and that was 4 hrs ago! They are loud as heck, and I didn't need to tweek them. All I did was raise the bass boost up to 4 and I was impressed! They have no distortion what so ever, like the Turtle Beach 600 Gen 2. I took those back a month ago, and got these instead! No regrets at all, best decision I've made this year!

Pro: For the price, I would call this a steal. I have had many other headsets in the past but this one does not only offer good sound quality but also is comfortable on the ears and has a satisfying weight. The skin is great and works well with my setup. Battery seems to last a long while too. Added bonus with the power on/mute/unmute sound bites as well. Con: I wish there was a way to mute the mic without having to reach up to my head. Does make it feel like I'm really piloting a spaceship though.

The battery life is incredible. I cannot compare to other wireless gaming headphones, as this is my first pair, but with COD, I get up to 15 hours before I need to recharge. I wish, however, that there were a way to gauge the remaining battery life. That’s more of a desire than a need, but still, it’d be nice. As far as comfort, it is not great for wear with glasses for more than a few hours at a time. I feel that if they were to add a special adjuster at the top, as opposed to just height at the ears, I think it’d be a vast improvement, and would earn the full 5 stars. Lastly, connectivity. Generally it’s really good, but from my understanding, wireless connectivity has been an ongoing issue with the release of the Series X. I can usually play without it cutting in and out, but it does occur for short periods of time here and there. All in all, I would definitely recommend this for other players who want to make the move to wireless.

I bought this gaming headset as a gift for my son. He had a corded headset before & it limited his movement. The main reason I purchased this headset was because it was Bluetooth. It’s rechargeable, and takes a USB- C charger, which charges it fast. The sound and noise cancellation is excellent. The microphone is small and doesn’t get in the way. Controlling the volume is easy! We are satisfied with our purchase.

I’m posting my review of both the headset and controller. These are the real deal! I hate buying collectible hardware that feels and looks cheaper than the standard/original, these are better. The material quality is great in each area. It’s cool that the headset makes games chime sounds . I was an IT for over 15 years, my partner and I are both avid gamers, and we were both smiling instantly when we held them, the feel and quality/detail is recognizable. The Headphones: Sound great, are soft, feel durable, the mic output has been clear, the ear pieces are very soft. There’sa fast forward and rewind option, they’re comfortable. These are not featherweight headsets by any stretch of the imagination, but, they aren’t the heaviest I’ve had. Heaviness or lightness obviously differ based on person, I have a nerve condition and am like 115 on a good day so, maybe to others this is light. Partner seems mostly indifferent to the weight. Controller: I love the clear buttons detail and the grip, feels sturdy but time will tell. I love the metal areas and the markings/characters that make it clear that care was put into these. Both look amazing up close and deliver what was stated at announcement for their release.

Extremely comfortable and very responsive to commands. The right ear cup controls the volume which is very convenient. The left ear cup controls the mix between voice and game sound. I have my phone paired to the headset so I can listen to music while gaming. Connectivity is the best I’ve experienced out if 3 other wireless brands. I’ve had alot of connectivity issues with the steel series arctics 9x. These headphones were my saving grace, I can finally just enjoy gaming without having intermittent connectivity issues. The battery life is awesome! Sometimes I forget to charge them because the battery lasts so long. Headphones give a light tone to signal they have been turned on. I even set them up to turn on my Xbox when they are turned on. Mic quality was the most unexpected upgrade. The squad I play with mentioned how much better they can hear me. They also mentioned that my voice is clear and not muffled as it’s been for the past 4 years. My only regret is not getting these things sooner!

The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox is by far one of my favorite headsets in the market by a long shot. An adjustable tension for your head? AMAZING. Low in the Bass and High in the Low-End gives you geeat surround sound to determine where the enemies next move will be. The GameDAC makes this Steelseries feel like a perosanlized headset with tuneable EQ’s/ Presets to really tie it together. Along with 2 batteries?!? Say goodbye to having to go AFK or playing without a headset because you have to charge your headset. The only con? The lowness in the bass can be tweaked and worked on, but if youre buying this for music I’d recommend something else. Along with that, buying replacement or extra batteries is a hassle, with steelseries being out of shock, and mixed reviews on amazon for afternarlet parts. 9.7/10

This is a amazing headset. The battery life is long-lasting and I love the way I can talk on the phone and actually game at the same time because the volume dails are right on the ear cups plus you can hear music and game at the same time without having to choose one of the other. This is the most comfortable headset for the price $100. I swapped out my ps5 headset multiple times looking for the perfect headset but never once considered returning these. Plus the Xbox series X headset is Bluetooth without the need of a dongle which makes it easy to pair to other devices. I highly recommend this headset.

I review/buy most gaming headsets on the market (GadgetryTech) and this one is really a home run. The fact that you can use this as a Bluetooth headphone at the same time you're paired to an Xbox or Windows 10 PC is amazing. You can also wirelessly connect to a PC if you have an Xbox wireless transmitter, or you can use a long USB-C cable and it will still get detected. The 15 hour battery is normal at this price range, as are the leatherette ear cups and basic design. USB-C is a welcome add and I like the ear-cup style volume and game mix adjustments, as they are very easy to use. PROS: -Very comfortable at this price point -Exceptionally loud (louder than SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless and TurtleBeach Stealth 600 Gen 2). Comparable volume to LucidSound LS15X -App for tuning is amazing - very easy to use to cycle presets and customize (which is a must here). It also wirelessly updates the firmware which is a big win -One of the more stable direct-paring headsets for Xbox right now -Bluetooth works flawlessly (Uses 4.2 with SBC codec) CONS -Way too much bass in default game profile with little detail (one of the worst in detail at this price point in stock EQ profile -Mic monitoring (side tone) where you can hear yourself speak through the drivers is incredibly weak/low in volume, even at max setting -Mic Mute light is backwards - Xbox App calls it "mic mute light", but when the light is on, the mic is on (not muted!) Important Notes/Final thoughts: -This headset NEEDS to be tuned to get the most out of it. The bass is too strong. Use the app to significantly reduce bass at the 125 and 250 Hz levels (set to 3rd lowest notch for 125, and 2nd lowest notch for 250). Leave 1 kHz and 8 kHz alone, and bump 4 kHZ by one full notch. Doing this makes a massive difference in sound quality and puts this headset at the top in sound quality at this price point. -This headset pairs to a phone or PC (via bluetooth) while you're gaming which is amazing. It supports Discord, but the hands free profile mode will reduce game volume and make the Discord voice chat sound bad. Instead, send Discord chat to standard BT wireless profile, and use a USB mic or webcam mic for chat via Discord while you play on Xbox That's about it! I covered this in much greater detail but overall this is an easy recommend at $100. It's honestly incredible in value and performance. This was NOT sent to me for review.

I’ve had this headset for 2 years now and I am only doing this review because I just want to show everyone what this headset can withstand. My cat has slowly chewed away at the mic, to the point where it’s only the chip hanging by a thread. My bf says everyone can still hear him and has not lost any connection while gaming. I’d say it’s a pretty solid headset if you’re just looking for something basic

These headphone are one of the best headphone I have bought for my gaming experience! They actually sound like speaker in my truck…I can actually feel the bass in my chess when turned up. The only negative thing I will say is I do have to feel my way around the buttons to figure out how to turn the sound Up or turn the mic down. I love laying them on their side also when I am not using them.

Overall: Good value. I purchased this with high expectations. Where it met those expectations is that it does what it advertises. Where it fell short is with some intermittent technical issues, comfort, and sound quality. Admittedly, I haven't spent much time with the audio adjustment app on the XBox Series X, so that may improve the sound. Overall the sound is ok, just don't expect $300 headset sound. The ability to connect the headset to both the XBox and another device at the same time is wonderful, however it is finicky. Here's what I mean: to connect to a device via bluetooth I must ensure it is disconnected from any other device. If the headset is already paired with bluetooth to my phone for example, my laptop will not detect it's presence. If I disconnect it from the phone, then the laptop will detect it. I've also found when connected to a Discord chat and the XBox, I can chat with persons in the Discord and hear the XBox audio well, however I cannot hear any other audio from my laptop's web browser. So if I am connected to the laptop and the XBox and try to play a YouTube video on the laptop I cannot hear the YouTube sound. This may be the result of a setting that needs to be changed, but it would be nice if this was 'plug and play' and did not require technical experience and troubleshooting to make things work that should work out of the box. My other complaint is comfort. The headset band pushes on the top of my head causing pain at the top of my skull after short use (about 1 hour). My Razer Blackshark V2 in contrast can be worn for seemingly indefinite periods of time without any pain to my head (the trade off being the Blackshark is corded, heavier, and cannot connect to multiple devices at once). Where this headset excells is the price point. For $100 you get great features, a surprisingly light and small profile headset, decent looks, USB-C charging, wireless, and a product that is XBox brand if you like your goods to remain uniform. For the price, it is a good value. Just don't expect to get a premium product. Expect good value with good features.
