Angle + venting puts distance between lap & heat

Works surprisingly well. Never knew typing at an angle on my lap would improve typing accuracy. Also, angle and great cutouts help laptop to disperse heat. This stand has a solid bottom, even more protection for the lap. I'm not a gamer, but spend hours researching, browsing, and watching video on a 15" gaming laptop balanced on my lap.

As a bonus: it swivels! I cannot complain. This is exactly what I needed.
