Far better than expected for the price and size

The sales person told us it would probably not work well outside and that it needs to be very dark to use it. Not so. While it is true that it works best in pitch black, we were able to use it outside, streaming Netflix from my smartphone just a short while after sunset. It got better as it got darker but we could see it fine in twilight. If it isn't real dark, you'll have to bring it closer and reduce the screen to like 40 inches, but even in the light of a full moon, we were able to watch it at the full 80 inches. The smart apps are a great addition and smartphone mirroring was pretty easy to set up on android, far less east on IOS.

I got this projector as a backup for my classroom and to use for slideshows in our performances. I didn't think it would have a big enough or bright enough screen, but it was worth a chance. When I turned it on, I was very surprised that the screen size can even be bigger than what I use in my classroom and that it appears just as bright with the lights off. My students actually liked it better than our full size projector. I can access my drive files for classroom use, but with the built in hard drive, it's also great for watching movies or TV programs with Sling.
This product turned out to be much better than I expected. The only downside is that it doesn't mirror my iPad or phone, but with the chrome search engine, I can get to almost anything I would need anyway. I had to search for Google Drive in the chrome app and download it...that was a little confusing.

I love this mini
Projector. It's says it 80" but if you have room it projects much larger. I measured it to be 120+ inches. Maybe at 80" it maximum sharpness. But for me it's awesome. Completely changes the feel. I use it all over from hotel rooms to hospital room. It has a focus and swivels allowing for ez placement. Pitfalls. If you want this for battery operated only. It only last 1 hr. I just plug in doesn't bother me or bring back up power that you use for cells or iPads. The other issue is the directions how to use were a bit vague for me and took a second trip to the store for both of us to figure out. Once I learned how to use remote to bring image playing I haven't had any issues since.
Well worth the money

I bought this mini projector to use when I travel. It’s so insanely great that I use it all the time at night. It says 80” diagonal but in my home I sit about 20 ft from a large white wall and it projects at least 150” diagonal. It also allows you to focus. Frankly I come from the days of drive in movies so I don’t need HD quality. It’s perfectly fine and is so small and portable that you will use it more than you think. As far as battery life. It’s none existent. After maybe a week the battery would not hold a charge. But you can plug it in. If I want to use it outside where there is no power. I had a battery backup that I have for my phones or iPad and it works perfectly that way as well. I would buy another one if this one broke. I love it!

Good quality for the price. This projector is compact and easy to use and set up. It did not connect wirelessly with my Samsung S7. I would have really liked that option. One of the reasons I went with this product was because I was under the assumption that I would be able to connect it wirelessly with my phone. It did not connect with the adapter either. For the price additional adapters should have been included. Over all I'm still satisfied with the quality of this product. Very affordable easy to use. Decent speaker quality. Battery life could use some improvement.

This is a very handy device for the money. Can be tough to focus when displaying spreadsheets or items with small lettering, but overall it works great. Was easy to set up. My kids love watching movies on the wall now. I use it as a second monitor for my computer as well when on conference calls.

Projector works but remote constantly malfunctions

The projector has a quality image and is easy to set up, which is vital for me since I use this for business presentations that can easily move locations. Also, the iPhone app works as described, showing documents, photos, and videos from my phone. I love the tilt feature, eliminating the need for an awkward tripod! However, the remote control malfunctions to the point that I constantly have to remove the batteries to get the remote to function properly. Obviously, that is a major issue since the menu is only accessible through the remote control - there is not a button on the projector that allows access to the menu too. If the manufacturer can improve the remote, this would easily be 5 stars for me and other mobile business professionals.

Love it for public presentations. Only issue, mousy speaker. I did not remember to bring my audio cable for the speaker. I took it from the store to a presentation. Set it up on the fly, great video. Easy to use, compact. Still amazed at how much projectors in general cost.... but the cost was expected. Once I add a speaker with a cable to plug in, it will be perfect.

This projector is compact and lightweight while still delivering a decent quality picture. The battery does not last a hole 2 hour movie. The sound quality could be improved. The picture quality looks best on a screen that prevents seep through. Overall, this is a great projector for the price.

Totally happy with the Miroir - WVGA Wireless Smart DLP Projector. For the cost it does exactly what I need it to do which is project movies in a dimly lit to dark room. If you want to use a projector in a somewhat lit room this probably isn't the projector your looking for and I would go with something with more lumins:>) Bluetooth works well with the cheap soundbar that I bought and the external jack for speaker output also works well for directly connecting to your sound source. I have 0 complaints so far and it does EXACTLY what I bought it for which was to show movies either in my backyard or in a hospital room that my dad was in during an extended hospital stay.
All in all a good little projector and small enough to carry in your pocket.

Bought this to hook up my iphone/ipad. Sound, brightness, and clarity are awesome. The only thing I wish they had included with the product is a connector for lightning to usb. But Best Buy was awesome and gave me a free one ($79 value). No flaws as of yet. Note, you cannot connect via Bluetooth with your phone to the device. You can download some apps through wifi.

Hard to use, finicky remote, old apps, bad WiFi

Having used this for a few months now, here are the main problems:
- remote does not always connect
- remote is hard to use
- remote is essential, so if you lose it you can’t use the projector
- projector never connects to WiFi automatically, you have to open settings every time
- it uses a modified version of android that is not up to date, which means there are potential security issues
- the modified android version also does not allow you to update apps to the latest version, meaning you are using old versions of Netflix, amazon video, chrome, etc. This makes for a very bad user experience and opens you up to security risks since old apps are vulnerable to security attacks.
Overall, this could be very good if they fixed the above issues. Those are all issues that could be fixed with a software update, so it just requires the Miroir developers to put time into fixing their product.

This is a great portable pocket-sized and light weight projector. It fit nicely into the acessory pocket of my surface bag. Setup was easy and I was up and running in a few minutes. The color and resolution are good.

I purchased this because I needed a small projector for traveling, this fits the bill perfectly. I opted for the slightly more expensive version due to the better brightness. It was worth it. My first presentation was in a low light environment and it worked perfectly. Produced a vivid screen of about 80" while only being just over 2 feet from the screen. I've used it standalone to stream netflix onto a wall and the built-in wifi and android OS didn't disappoint. I haven't tried the online PowerPoint presentation mode yet but will be. Only downfall is you do need low light to darkness for a very vivid screen but this is expected from this class of projector.

This ultra-portable projector works better than I expected, given the low price. The audio is loud enough for the places I use it. The image is good enough for the PowerPoint presentations I present.
It’s not going to compete with an HD home media projector or sound system. It’s not designed to.
I have watched movies on it, and it does a good enough job, but I understand the limitations.

I have wanted to purchase a projector for years but the price and features keept me away. I did not wanted to invest a fortune just for movie nights. I found this projector and decided to give it a try...best decision ever...projects right unto my white walls. I have even used it; to even watch my favorite Netflix series.

I'd been looking for a projector small enough to not add too much weight for travel, while having enough lumens to project the image clearly. This one fit the bill while keeping the price reasonable.
