They stepped it up this year and the game is great .. Home run derby, playing friends or online and road to the show are awesome.

I've always been an Xbox person, bought a ps4 just for the show 2105, and 2016 is even better. Love the voices coming through the controller. You will enjoy this game if you like baseball.

Most likely the best MLB the Show yet. Good graphics. Game play is solid like each year. Still some bad camera angles for road to the show mode. Especially since I play as a outfielder. Franchise play is solid. Showtime is a fun new feature. Quickest loading times I've seen in all the years of this game. The commentary however still sucks and is horribly boring and repetitive.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance/Gameplay: My review is for the PS4. If you like sports games, specifically baseball, you will definitely like this one. Image resolution (gameplay and theatrical) is very good and the sound is good as well. Starting a new game or season could be a little difficult for kids, but after a few games, kids were able to do it on their own. However, learning how to play it, that was very easy for them since the game explains everything about the controls within the game. They know which pitch to throw, how to bat, bunt, etc. The ability to select the uniform (home or visiting team) and choosing a park of your preference is totally awesome; you can even choose the climate (cloudy, raining, sunny, etc.). You can create your own player with your name too. If you want to do it better, the game synchronizes to the actual season that is running and provide you with statistics as close as possible to the real-life information, I love that. You can create your own season, league, etc. Yes, I like it!!!!!! Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door.

Maybe I don't play enough games, but I just don't see the huge leap forward in MLB The Show 16. I own 15 as well and the game is definitely better, but I would still like them to go a little further. I was disappointed that the rosters weren't updated at release. My favorite team had an opening day starter that wasn't even in the game yet. He is now with a later roster update, but an opening day starter? C'mon. There are still some bugs that seem avoidable (in road tot he show, I have a pitcher who gave up the first career home run to another player, but it said my pitcher just hit his first home run). Some of them are minor, but seem avoidable. The game play is good for the most part. I'd like them to correct the changing camera angles when playing defense as this routinely causes problems fielding and then making the proper throw. The menus are still a little unnecessarily cumbersome. But, the game is still a lot of fun. I've played most of the game modes (they've even helped to streamline the creation of your Diamond Dynasty teams so it doesn't take 3 hours before you can start playing!). I would recommend the game, but if you have 15, it wouldn't be the end of the world to skip 16.

MLB The Show 16 for Sony Playstation 4 is quite simply the most realistic representation of our beloved national pastime. The attention to fine detail, amazing physics, realistic graphics, beatiful crowds and stadiums are AMAZING!!! Take it from a person that played hard ball baseball, its very authentic. Make it realistic by taking away the strike box, guess pitching, scorebar, (you can leave preview hot zones) and play in either offset zoom or the strike zone (first person) mode, and pitchers view (remove API), which is quite marvelous!!!

This is the first baseball game I have ever purchased. The last time I really even played a baseball game on a console was Sports Talk baseball on Sega Genesis. I was worried I would have a difficult time learning all the new controls in this game. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to play. The graphics look great although there is some chop in between players movements. The ps4 is basically an older out of date computer so I would say it does a good job running the game given the technological restraints.

I've been playing The Show and/or its predecessor for around 15 years now. I love these games. They are about as realistic as possible for a game to be. The various game modes are a lot of fun, and I can't remeber if it's new to this year's game or not, but the live rosters feature is great. With an internet connection, you can always keep an up to date version of your favorite team's roster to then use in season or franchise mode.

Grandkids love the game. Good price and niehborhood kids come over to play the game. Keeps them entertained and several can play at the same time.

My son absolutely loves this game. He plays in non-stop. He has created a player in his like SS and is now working his way up to the big leagues.

If you're a fan of sports video games and baseball this game is a must. The show is the best sports franchise, they set the bar high. Everything from graphics to gameplay to modes and features make this game one of the best. I usually skip out every other year and I am totally pleased with 16. There is a great modding community for rosters, edits, and sliders which put this over the top!

The Show has only gotten better with age. This game is one of the reasons I own a Ps4. If you like baseball and video games this is a must own.

The Graphics are great and the gameplay. My first time playing MLB the show series and this won't be my last time. Great Game!

I've always been very hesitant to try baseball games on consoles; I tend to find that they're either too hard, too easy, or not realistic enough to the sport. But this game quickly put all of those fears to rest as I started playing it. I love the different options for play, graphically this is probably the best baseball game I've ever played, and though it is challenging it's not too hard that it makes you so frustrated you give up and yet isn't so easy that you're not having fun because you're always crushing the other team you play. Everything about this game was perfect for me and, as a baseball fan, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys baseball and is looking for a well-balanced baseball game that you can have fun with but also grabs your attention for its realism to the game and keeps it throughout as it challenges your gaming skill.

This is the one game I always buy each and every year. The graphics seem to be better, the pitching appears to be more realistic. The only thing I wish they would incorporate is the cactus and grapefruit stadiums for spring training. The technology is there, and by now should be included in the game.
