Easy install but I don't get a lot of channels

Got the antenna up and running in less than an hour. I only get 6 channels. I'm almost 50 miles from most of the transmitters and I live in a valley in N SF Bay Area so the short pole this comes with won't get the antenna high enough off my one story house. Do more research than just Mohu's website. They said I'd get 58 channels other third party sites are more accurate in their estimates.

This was very easy to install, and performs admirably. I pulled my old satellite dish off the roof, drilled one hole in the mounting pipe for this antenna to match the holes on the bracket from my dish, wired it to the cables that were already installed for the dish, and the viola! Eight free HD TV channels in half an hour.
If you had to use the including brackets and cables, it would not be very difficult to install it all the way, but I thought I would share that you may not have to if you're ditching the dish. I am very satisfied with this product!

What a piece of junk. I have tried it in eight different locations at 10 different elevations and I just get nothing but continual pixelation and static and I only live 15 miles from the antennas. I have a $10 Best Buy antenna that gets better reception. If you buy this, you’re just wasting your money.

Not Worth the High Price

For an antenna this expensive I would expect it to exceed expectations. I am pretty disappointed with the purchase. I am 30 miles from my local stations and I get 3 out of 4 with the third station periodically pixelating and the fourth station unwatchable. The antenna is mounted approximately 25 feet high. This antenna states that it is multi directional which for me at least is not the case. Moving the antenna two inches left or right can make all of the difference between some channels and none.
The amplifier which came with the unit quit working after about an hour. Mohu is sending a replacement however it seems like a common occurrence for the amplifier to just quit working with these antennas. I am expecting the replacement they send to fail as well which is why I have started looking at other amplifiers that are available.
Overall I am disappointed and am close to just returning the unit for a refund.

2 thumbs up for this product. It's so great I felt like I had to write a review. I had a giant antenna in my attic and I was lucky if I got 4-9 channels and only 2 of them would come in well. It was super frustrating. I almost got cable. I took a chance on this one thinking I could take it back to Best Buy if it didn't work (which is why I bought it through them). I hooked it up and I now get 15 channels that all come in perfectly! The towers are about 50+ miles from our house. It's not cheap, but it is worth the price.

Antenna designed just for one tv

This antenna is designed for just one tv. If someone has more than one tv and use a splitter, it would need signal booster for each tv, so it end up increasing the price, which was already expensive, comparing with other store, like Amazon, EBay, Newegg, others. And even though I used splitters on other tv's, I did not get the channel that I expected.

I bought it for the promised 60 channels. All I wanted was at least as much PBS as I get with cable plus the local networks. The online search said I would get them. I didn't. I get a few PBS channels, shopping channels and mostly non-English channels. I don't get local network channels. The Scan didn't work and Support did not respond to my email. Is looks great and is easy to assemble and set up, but otherwise it is not useful.

I hooked it up and got 3 channels (1 major one) near the window. I then put it on the roof and got less channels. Back to the window again and the flimsy booster went bad...now no channels. This could be a rare occurrence but I lost faith in Mohu and returned it. On a positive note, Best Buy was excellent in their customer service.

I bought this antenna after the indoor one I bought got some channels but not abc or nbc. I bought this one because it looked easy to install which it was but it is NOT multidirectional. I constantly have to adjust the angle depending on which channel I want to get. Taking it back!

A colleague and I each purchased this antenna. His amplifier was defective out of the box. Mine failed after 2 months. No amplifier? No TV!

Can't use the antenna because the the wrong parts inside the box. The rod which is used to install to the antenna has the same size outside diameter as the bracket which it is intended to go inside. Poor Quality control really don't know how good the antenna. Maybe a good quality antenna I guess will not find out about the reception of this Antenna
