Got a Moochies for my son and it has been the best gift we have ever given him. It’s given my son independence without him needing a mobile phone, and no access to the internet which is perfect for us. The only thing we would have loved the Moochies to have is a Listen-In feature, we hope that this feature can be developed in the future. Overall, the Moochies itself is such a clever device and suits our son’s needs. We can track his whereabouts when he plays outside with his friends with no issues at all, the SOS feature is brilliant, the camera is great for taking photos and video-calling us, and the battery life is great considering the small size of the device. The support team have been really friendly and efficient when replying to our messages. The set up has been super easy, the manual given within the Moochies package is easy to read with a lot of detail which made it so easy for us to set up the Moochies for our son. If you’re looking for an affordable safety phone watch for your child we would strongly suggest you purchase a Moochies. One of the best purchases we have ever made! Keep up the great work guys.

I was Skeptical when I read all the negative reviews but I really needed to get my son a phone to be able to call him and know his location I can't afford an iPhone or other brand which is double the price so decided to give it a go. I did go through a few hoops with the signup process as I don't normally read manuals but their customer Service - Jess is great, she was very patient and guided me through the process and I found out that they actually have phone support if i need to call them . Great !!

Customer service is terrible. I have finally gotten the watches to work over wifi, but they do not work all the time. It has been frustrating not being able to talk to customer service. I understand there are many people activating but after days the watches should have service. When and if the watches do work the kids enjoy them. The Black watch has started pilling after one wear on the both ends of the watch face. Moochies are a great idea but need lots of work for the price.

Terrible. Wasted Christmas present for my 9 year old. He was so excited, but after several attempts to is, never worked. Showed him in the ocean multiple times. He was def not in the ocean. Poor customer service. Took weeks off trouble shooting and couldn't return. Do not buy!

Wow. Reviewers were not kidding. This was def not ready for market. I am shocked Best Buy backed this product up to give people like me confidence to purchase. I am out $20 because you have to sign up for a sim plan before you even start to set up the watch.....but that's where it all goes to crap. Awful website and confusing interface. Could not even get past scanning the QR code for a whole day, then all if a sudden the QR code appears at random.... Then the watch doesn't even have a phone number but it shows full cell signal. I emailed their customer service and its been nothing for 24 hours. Yikes. This is going back.

I bought this for a Christmas present. My child was able to get 4 full charges and uses before it shut off and wouldn't power back on. Battery didn't last long and would take a bit to connect to the network when it did power up the first 4 times. The concept is good, but the entire platform needs redesigned.

bought 2 of these as christmas gifts (2-years ago). Management software is nearly useless and I was NEVER able to get EITHER device working (1 won't get past a QR code, the other won't actually activate). Still have them...shame on me for not returning them (still always trying to get them to work).

Don’t get your hopes up :( The customer service for this company is ONLY done by email and it’s like a cat and mouse game trying to get them on the same page. Customer Service is terrible, setup is somewhat of an organized chaos. The battery life is AWFUL we had the watch on the lowest tracking setting and just sitting on the counter waiting to become activated and it died within 5 hours. The company has the idea of a good kids watch, but nothing else to support it.

The concept is good but the product and service is absolutely horrible. I’d have given it a no-star rating if it allowed. The tech support says 24-7, 365, but yet there is NO live support. It’s done through email only. The responses are copy paste. Check other reviews and read the company replies. Things to note….the phone number will be randomly generated, ours was California based, and most receiving phones will block it as a spam caller. The watch does not allow for regular text messaging. When I did get a response from tech support regarding how to buy an extra charger, they sent me a link to their website….and of course you can’t buy an extra charger or watch bands like they claimed. Our daughters watch was never able to receive phone calls. This is because of a hardware/software glitch between the wifi of the watch and the cellular service. Sadly, their tech support stopped trying to assist us and went silent. I cannot blame BestBuy for this since they partnered with a supplier they thought was reputable…sadly they got fooled and I hope they pull this garbage product from their shelves!

Do not buy this watch. It will be a waste of your time and money. I am on my 3rd defective watch and they now tell me this one is defective too and I should return to Best Buy. Battery life is horrible, if you get 4-5 hrs consider yourself lucky. GPS accuracy is garbage, if you plan to track your child so you know where they are playing, expect it to be several houses off. The app you use to manage it is marginally ok, but other apps for other devices are much better. I really have tried to work with support and the store to get it right. I know sometimes things don't end up as you intend or you are oversold on a solution, but really this product is garbage and I would never recommend it. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

This watch is terrible. If you have issues setting it up like i did, you can only contact customer service by chat only no phone number at all. We had to return it, was definitely not worth the price, hassle or time. The battery life is terrible. The concept of a child having a watch to contact parents/guardians is great, but not with this watch.

These need to be taken off the market - the company clearly has no control over, or understanding of, the software installed on the device. The set up process is terrible (we had to return 3 watches to get one that worked due to "software errors".) The one we kept went to school with my kid today. We are in the US. When i check the tracking, it seems they took a trip to Vermont, followed by Singapore within the space of a few hours. Battery had died by 2.30 (tracking is on low, and it was on 'class mode' all day) .... completely useless. Returning the boxed one i have - and i'm lumped with the other as i threw out the box.

Don’t buy this product. I bought one for my son. When you buy it, you have to pay for a cell plan, which I did. Yet even after doing that, it does not connect to the network. And I live in the Bay Area. If there’s anywhere that should have good coverage, it’s here. They claim to have 24 hour tech-support. Yet there’s only an email address available and no one responds. So, I’m stuck with a watch that doesn’t work.

Watch might be fine but the app that you need to use it is garbage. I couldn't get it to sync to the watch so I returned it. Look up app reviews before you buy it. GPS isn't accurate and it keeps freezing up and won't call out.
