    Can't live without it

I love my mophie. I could not complete the day without it, as I always go through the battery. A nice bonus, is that it is a great protection case as well. I dropped my brand new iPhone off the roof, and the phone did not even have a scratch. the mophie was barely scratched (it fell on concrete).

earlier, I had to always keep a controlled use of my Phone battery...not any more! I can virtually use my phone non-stop for at least 15 hours.

    The Best Mophie Case!!!!

This is my 4th mophie case and it is by far the best I've owned. It is so thin and lightweight yet still very protective. The color looks great and matches the color of the phone. I strongly suggest getting one of these if you own an iPhone 5. The extra battery power comes in handy since I'm a realtor and always talk on my phone during the day. Before I found Mophie my battery was dead by noon. Great job on a fantastic product!!!

Wish There Were More Options Out There

I've owned almost every iteration of the Mophie iPhone line (Air, Juice Pak Plus, Helium, etc.) and they all are very poor quality and ridiculously expensive. The Mophie Helium is no different. My biggest complaint about the Mophie Helium is that it adds a lot of bulk with only average charging ability. I charged the Mophie up completely and let it recharge my dead iPhone 5 and it only charged it to 55% before dying out. The box says "up to 80% extra battery", I think they were referring to size and not power because I can't see that being possible even under the best conditions. One other major gripe is the headphone jack situation. Due to the poor design of the Mophie you are required to use the included Mophie headphone jack extension in order to access the jack if you have a headphones with a wide plug (such as all Beats by Dre headphones). And lastly, the fit of the Helium is very much like their Mophie Air model in that it's luck of the draw whether you get one that fits your phone without any significant gaps or misaligned edges. Mine had gaps all over the corners and sides right out of the box. Why can InCase make a super snug fitting case for $29 and Mophie can't even make one fit decent for $80? I'm returning mine tomorrow and hoping that another company comes out with one soon.

I picked mine up last week. I have been waiting months and the battery on my 5 was driving me nuts. It is slim and adds very little bulks. I dont think I could make it through my day without it. I just flick the switch and it give me an extra 80% charge. Thanks Mophie

    Great for travelers

I purchased a Mophie charger case for my iPhone 5 last year and have gotten many inquiries from friends and co-workers about it. It does add some bulk and weight to the otherwise sleek iPhone 5 but I purchased it primarily for travel. I'm no longer searching for an outlet or charging station in airports. I simply switch on my Mophie, and within a short time, I'm back to 100% battery. It worked great while on vacation last year, as I was out sightseeing for hours, taking photos with my phone and didn't have to return to my hotel to re-charge.

You will not be caught with a dead phone!

My third Mophie for various iPhones. On one the charging connector detached from the case. Even though is was out of warranty by several years Mophie offered a discount on a replacement since it was not repairable. Recently my newest one from July 17 is not making good contact between the case halves. This causes the battery level indicator to show one light even when you know it is fully charged. Also the phone cycles between being charged to not charging, my first clue something was wrong. If I disconnect the battery halves and then put it back together it will make better contact and now show a fully charged battery. Plus the hotspot issue is corrected while charging. Which may have been an issue all along. My previous Mophies did not have the hotspot issue. I have had no issues with the paint coming off as other have commented. I plan to get an warranty replacement from either Best Buy or Morphie. I was planning to get a new iPhone 5s and Morphie. I am now not impressed with the iPhone 5s or Morphie. I will wait and see how the replacement works out on the iPhone5.

Mophie is a great back up

This is my second Mophie. It not only protects the phone but provides me with the assurance that I will always have battery back up. So I can watch movies, play games and use the apps without worrying about getting stranded somewhere unable to make a call or a text.

I have owned every iPhone since the 3 & bought Mophie's before - even after they wouldn't honor their warranty. The Air was ok, the Juice Pack Plus was great as long as the port didn't wiggle loose. I had 3 of the pluses & it was a problem with each. The port would break before I went through my 500 cycles. I've been waiting for the Helium w/ bated breath & now I'm waiting for the next one. I returned my Helium after owning it an hour. What's better? The LED placement. The battery. What's worse? The power switch on the back. The headphone jack extension. Like the Air, which they fixed in the Plus, they left buttons uncovered. I can get past the weight & extra length, I can't get past the cheap feel. I really wanted to love this but it wasn't worth keeping.

    Good but not great

I agree with Organist09's review. This should've been more updated to not only have a lightning port at the bottom but also be able to plug directly into a PC or Mac system and have it recognize it as a device in iTunes. I'm not a fan of wireless syncing as its slow and often times drops connection and I have to start over. It's a good product and does what it says it's going to do so I guess I'll have to settle for mediocre.

I am always on phone for business purposes and always have to charge midway through the day. With this case and battery charger don't need to anymore. Recommended product for business and iphone users that use phone a lot.

It's great to have the added power to increase the usage time for my iPhone 5. This product is nice because it's lightweight and doesn't add a lot of bulk to the already light iPhone 5

Good product with big design flaw

This product is pretty great, nice and light, pretty durable and looks nice on the phone. No complaints except, YOU HAVE TO USE A SEPARATE CHARGER! yes, the lightning charger doesn't fit, you have to use the one that it comes with (which fits android phones) so if you want to charge your phone with the case on you have to use the one provided or take the phone out, so your phone charger, car charger, useless unless phone is taken out. I find this very very irritating, to the point that I'm considering returning it and waiting if the Air will accept lightning.

Extra charge is about 50% of 'regular' charge. Not bad but not as advertised. Also the helium pack will not sync with computer and, per Apple, the Mophie has 'invalidated' my charging port so that a normal charger cord anfd/or USB cable will no longer work. Not covered under Apple warranty, of course. So despite numerous emails back and forth I am stuck using the Mophie until I can upgrade (about a year) because there is no other way to charge my phone now without it. Also, because it will not sync (was told to download an app by tech support, did that then was told the app doesn't work for helium only space packs, then was told helium had no memory so I can't download to it -- don't want to d/l to it, I want to get photos into my computer -- then was told they would replace the Mophie but that it would not solve the inability to sync because "it doesn't always work right". Dear gawd.) Now I either have to carry a camera or email photos to myself 2-3 at a time. Oh, and I can't back up the phone to iTunes as I can't connect it with the USB cable because the port is messed up. Also, you best get yourself as car charger or the Mophie USB cable because when it's dead ... it's dead and there's no way to simply take off the bottom piece and charge the phone because, Hey!, you need a functional port for that. Any of your Apple charging devices/cords are useless with the Mophie. If your phone battery life is 5 hours of use (which would be pretty damned good), you will be able to have 7.5 hours with the Mophie which is good, but not what you need for a 9-10 hour day. Better off carrying a charger and finding an outlet somewhere. Sorry I ever bought it, but I am so stuck with it.

The only good thing is that is charges your phone and looks pretty cool when you light it up. The rest is all bad. Paint comes off easily so it looks horrible after a couple of times of use. The case is literally like two different colors now. And if you drop your phone, it will probably shatter due to lack of protection. AND $79???????
