We've all been there; your iPhone has 13% life left and you're in a business meeting with no charger. This cover with a built-in battery extends the life of your battery to ensure you get through the meeting or while traveling on business. The downside is that the cover is thicker and heavier than the overall iPhone which makes it almost impossible for a man to carry in his pants pocket or in the pocket of a jacket; so guys, get use to carrying this one.

Bought this to keep my old 4S ticking til I upgrade when the next iPhone is launched. The case holds a lot of power. The micro USB port for charging is in an awkward position on the corner and most other cables besides the one it comes with don't go deep enough to make a good connection and fall out easily.

I needed auxiliary power for the iPhone which we all know needs charging mid day. I didn't always have the luxury of a car jack or power cord and ran out of juice in some dire moments. This product replaced my much loved otter case so I'm struggling with the weight and slickness of this new exterior. You can't hold it between your ear and shoulder; even for a moment, wo it slipping out and falling to the ground, so be prepared to keep a BT handy if you need two hands while you talk. The heavy bottom cause it to slip off surfaces (such as the car console) easily, BUT these are small inconveniences to overcome because it does get me through the whole day on one charge. By mid day, when my batt power gets down to 10% or lower (you will want to activate the switch that keeps that batt power % icon visible in the upper right hand corner), I switch to auxiliary power and it charges the iPhone up to 100%. It takes time to get to 100% and I'm not sure how long that is, but it does get there. In the meantime, you keep using it as normal. At night, you plu. It into the charger and it charges both the phone and the batt case. By morning you are at 100% for both the phone and the case charger. Be sure to switch off the auxiliary power until you need it. It does not charge fast, so it doesn't work well in the car. If you need a charge over and above your case while in a car, take the iPhone out of the charger to charge. It charges much quicker.

This is the second Mophie I have purchased. The first one I had lasted nearly 2 years. It provided long lasting battery and great protection from the numerous times I dropped my phone.

Wish there was memory addition for my phone but there is for later models. Love the feel of the case phone doesnt slide out of your hand and love the extra charge

Mophie extends battery life almost 2x for my IPhone.That's really convenient, especially if I'm away from home or forget my charger! Charges pretty quickly too. Recommend for people on the go! Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the price - $99 + tax for the 2x charger.

This Mophie pack hit the mark very well for what was advertised, namely battery performance for its weight and a case finish that really enhances the grip on your phone. Unfortunately the poorly positioned micro-USB charger connection on the curved corner of the case (really, on a curve?) makes it difficult to make a strong cable connection with anything other than the cable that shipped with it. I've tried six different brands of micro USB charging cable and NONE of them maintain any degree of positive connection, and at least three of them actually have to be held in to work. Mophie, move the charge port to a flat surface just like on your Android versions which work great.

Worked great to extend battery life on my old 4S phone, unfortunately after some time the fit between the two halves of the shell started to loosen to the point the one of them would come of by itself, so much that I ended up loosing one half which rendered the battery useless.

This case is very nice to have if you have an older phone that doesn't hold a charge. Makes the phone last about 2-3 as long with a full charge on the case. Only problems are that it takes a fairly long time to fully charge phone and case ~6 hours, and the connection to the charger is kind of awkwardly placed and cord comes out very easily.

It's kewl, it keeps my iPhone charged for more than a day. The only thing I wish is that it came with a screen protector, but it doesn't. The main iPhone screen is exposed to the elements so the risk of shattering the glass is still there. Other than that it work great.

Excellent for recharging. My battery was depleting quickly when I am traveling. I was tired of looking for a charging station at the airport. Some airports do not have them at all of the gates. When I get down to 10% or lower. I flip the switch and it starts recharging. The phone and mophie can charge at the same time on AC. Sometimes I charge them separately. The mophie serves as a case. It seems sturdy; I have dropped my iPhone while in the mophie on concrete, asphalt and rocks. I have been lucky; only a few scratches to the mophie, which I rubbed out. No scratches or cracks to the iPhone screen. I will purchase a new mophie when I upgrade my phone. I will pass this one on to a family member. The mophie also has a nice feel to my hand and looks good. I opted for black, will probably go for red on the next round. There are less expensive recharging cases, after reviewing a few, I was sold on the mophie. Worth it if you are in the airport(s) a lot or just do not feel like plugging in all the time.

I purchased this in preparation of the possibility of losing power for days due to our New England winter. As fate would have it, I didn't need it for that purpose - but it's great knowing I have the extra battery power for whenever I'm running low and not near a charger.

Great case with power to spare. Built solidly and holds up well to impacts.

I purchased the mophie because of the speed at which my iPhone 4S battery died even while sitting around. I have been very impressed with how quickly it charges my phone and how long it lasts on a single charge. My biggest issue, with the product, is that it is difficult to keep the mini-USB charger in place when attempting to charge the device. It's not a deal-breaker, but it is rather annoying. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend and would purchase again if needed.

Good hard case for iPhone. Light weight, not bulky. Only down point is doesn't hold battery charge very long if you're using Internet or camera on iPhone.

Really helpful device that helps provide additional battery life for the iPhone. It also help to protect the phone.

Saves my butt at work. I work outside doing lawn maintenance all day and use my music on my iPhone the whole time. Battery was dying quickly before I got this product now it gets me through the whole day and then some!!!! Very pleased

Overall, this case is great. It does well protecting it and charges it whenever you want. The only thing I dislike is the charging port is a little flimsy and it's picky about which chargers will fit. It's also in an awkward spot so when it's charging my hand always bends it slightly. The charging light turns off in about 1 or 2 minutes if that, and that's good because otherwise it would light the whole room up. The case charges my phone from 10< to about 98, so it basically doubles the life. Buy it, there isn't much to lose with this one.

The battery pack is user friendly for hooking up to recharge. Full recharge is very fast. And the pack is small and compact, making it easy to carry along with you when your traveling. Great item - highly recommend.

After the phone drops to 20% or less switching on the mophie charges it to 100%. This is my second one. The first worked for more than 3 years till the charging socket broke. This one is its replacement.
