This is not difficult. If you don’t get it right the first time, it’s easy to start over.

The ring itself looks good and is very light, however the construction feels very plastic and cheap and the ring scratches easily. The app is very simple and easy to navigate, however because all of the tracking is done through an app and is updated every few minutes this ring will not work as a heart rate monitor. The ring also fails to track steps and heart rate with any regularity on all gym cardio equipment even the treadmill. You can manually enter exercise info into the tracker to receive a daily calorie expenditure but unless you do it immediately after exercise you will have to scroll awhile to reach the correct time. Sleep tracking is also not accurate, it is heart rate based so I often and up and about for 15-20 minutes before it stops counting me as asleep. The ring is best used to track daily calories burned, daily resting heart rate and non-gym step counter. For $200 there are so many more options for fitness trackers, the only thing Motiv has going for it is that it is more attractive than the typical wrist trackers. Also the manufacturer has a 45 day money back guarantee. BestBuy has a 15day return policy only, if you still need to try it out buy direct or you will be stuck with the product like me.

I wanted to start tracking sleep and decided to try this. I wore the sizing ring for a bit and when I went to order the size/color, the website said I needed to contact customer support (this was Sunday night). BUT, it let me complete the order and said I would get an email in about 24 hours with shipping info. Waited for several days then contacted Motiv and inquired and the reply email suggested I was wrong since the website told me it was on back-order. The website didn’t tell me that, it said I needed to contact customer support, then it let me submit the order and said it would ship shortly. Also, very unhelpfully, the person suggested I could order any other size. Umm, no. I picked the size that fit the finger to wear it on. If you are average size, you might be told to pick a different size. Setting up the app was easy, the info is close to what Apple Watch says for steps, HR, calories (this is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1). Sleep tracking is good for time asleep and HR. New problem, due to issues with prior cell service provider, we switched carriers and got new phones. The ring appears to be providing info to app, but it says I need to pair my ring. Another 30 minutes of screwing around with it is pry needed...

Does everything that is needed. I use different smart watches on different platforms and I wanted one thing that could keep my training results. My choices were either to buy a dedicated watch/band making me possibly wear two watches, which did not sound very appealing and then I ran into Motiv. I had looked into other smart rings for health and Motiv for me looked to be the best. The sleep and heart rate is very accurate. The step count is possible a little off, which I was aware about, but overall I am very pleased with the ring so far.

I wear a watch and bracelet so the normal fitness trackers would not have worked for me. Motiv has, and has been doing great. The step counts are close to what my phone/ watch is showing, so that tells me it's good. I compared the pulse to what the Dr said today and it matches - perfectly. I'm not so sure on the sleep, but it is close. All in all I'm happy. Only negative I can think of is when I got the fitting kit, none of the rings fit really good. In fact, I could only get one that was close. It's working, but more sizes would have been appreciated.

Like the ring cause u can wear with any sport/activity. Registers calories well. Disappointed on how it doesnt allow me to click on my heartrate. Just shows a graph. Basically records on how long you slept but not what type of sleep Overall this ring doesnt pinpoint specifics but generals about activity, hear rate and sleep. Good for the price.

Works well and serves its purpose and functions as expected but it is bulky. I feel it is more suitable for a male simply due to the look of it, looks masculine.

The ring has been on backorder for weeks and I’m still waiting on it. Going on 6 weeks since I bought it.

Purchased the Rose Gold and the color really isn’t great. Stated the charge lasts 3 days, I get 2 days out of one charge. Would be nice if ring wasn’t so thick, I have smaller hands and the band almost hits my knuckle. Everything else is great. Tracking is good and the sleep tracker is nice to have.

I purchased my Motiv ring a month ago to provide me with a simple way to monitor my daily physical activity (walking and calorie usage) and compare my physical activity to my programmed goals. A side benefit of my Motiv ring is that it reports on the amount of time that I sleep every day. It does both functions well.

Did not like the feel of it on my finger. But neat idea just not for me.

Love these tech. products. The size of componentry that fits in a ring, as small as, size 6 is phenomenal. The data it relays is comprehensive. Too bad the company has been "acquried" and the product is no longer supported. It can also, have power and "sync" issues that may be related to its size. The battery cannot be replaced so I suppose its a 2 year (plus or minus) relationship.

It is easy to set up and easy to wear. It is just like company described.

This ring is just ok. Must be reset constantly in order to give updates. The sleep reading is only a timer or you while you are in bed, not moving “walking etc.” not your your actual sleep time. Not a true tracker in my eyes.

Great process for sizing the Motiv ring. All I had to do after receiving is sign in to Motiv and enter the size.

I had. Very high Hope's for this fitness tracking ring. The shipping was fast. I wore the sizing kit ring for a couple of days then ordered the actual ring. The actual ring didn't fit like the sizing ring so I had to put it on a different finger. I did get complements on my ring. The box says 3 day charge. I got 2 and it would stop tracking my steps for hours then all of the sudden start again. It wouldn't track my sleep either.

I purchased the motiv ring wanting to use it as a fitness tracker. After owning it for about 18 months my ring is no longer charging and contacted support. They told me these CANNOT go thru metal detectors. This was never disclosed to me during purchasing or displayed during setup. Due to how many metal detectors we walk thru in life. How is this even possible?
