This is probably the hands down best device I have used. Motorola has taken a huge step forward with their cameras and this is now competitive with the likes of $1000 samsungs and iphones. The battery is amazing, the screen is bright and easy to see outside, the camera is the best out there, and Ready For is a game changing feature.
The battery is 5000 mAh and is good for around a couple days of normal usage, I can get about 1.5 of heavy usage (playing pokemon Go, heavy messaging and photo taking, and using my hotspot). I couldn't imagine anyone killing this thing with anything remotely resembling reasonable use.
The display is 144 hz which makes things buttery smooth and is bright enough to see outside without trouble. I also love how Motorola went away from the curved display and to a flat one. It is better for durability and opens up more options for screen protectors
The camera is crazy good, way better than any other camera Motorola has included on any other device. Its an 108 mp Ultrapixel camera that takes amazing shots in most any light (see attached photos for samples). It is also flanked by an ultrawide (pulls double duty as a macro shooter as well) and a depth sensor for that nice depth of field effect in your portrait photos.
Ready For is honestly a game changing feature. it allows for a wired or wireless desktop experience on your device via either a smart tv (anything that works with with miracast) or a PC/Laptop via USB (you can even share your smartphones internet connection) or wirelessly over wifi. This is a great option for people who don't want to bring their work to a personal device or people who don't want to pay for a connected laptop or hotspot device while still having data.
Again, I can not recommend this device enough It is fast, there is no added bloat, the software is fast and clean. Whats not to love?

First off I got it on sale for the 500, and this phone is packing even with it being a LCD screen it's plenty bright, Motorola has such a simple layout with no bloatware on it. No expendable storage which is fine as it comes with 256gigs and 8gb of ram and a nice little hidden feature is the ram boost which shoots it up to 10gb of ram. The 144hz screen is definitely a plus and the steal of the show is the camera it has. I went from a OnePlus 8 to this and watching Netflix and such is definitely better and can see the screen better in the sunlight. The battery is huge and lasts well over a day on hardcore usage and then the 30watt charging gets you back up in a matter of minutes. Wouldn't buy at full price due to LCD screen but definitely a steal on sale.

I originally had a Samsung Galaxy and wanted to upgrade to a better camera without having to spend too much money I took advantage of this phone when I went on sale during Christmas I love the look of it when I received it I love the camera and how lightweight it was looked really sleek the only problem was it would not connect to 5G even though it states that it does after speaking with Motorola customer service and my phone company I finally decided to return it because it was never able to connect to 5G

This is a wonderful phone for the budget. The charging is quick. The battery life is long and it's very durable. Very pleased with everything about this phone except for the camera.. camera is terrible and the updates don't come in after 6 months. This is a great outdoor work phone.

I was in the market for a new, high quality phone, but i didnt want to spend over $700 just to get a decent phone. So when i saw this on sale for $300 it was a steal. I wasnt expecting much from this phone, but I am so IMPRESSED with the quality and amount of features on this phone. The camera is phenomenal, everything runs smoothly, battery life is fabulous, and theres features ive never had a phone before (note that im coming from lower end phones, so this is my first high end one). This phone seems to do almost everything that iphones and samsung flagships claim to do. I previously had a 2018 motorola phone from 2018 - 2020, and wow, what an upgrade from that one! Im so happy i didnt spend $1000 on a Samsung or iphone. I might just continue buying motorola phones!

I caught this phone on sale and so far it's been a great phone! I love the long battery life and the fast charging. I love all the Moto gestures. The side power button finger print reader is great and very responsive too. The camera also takes really good pictures. And I love that it comes with plenty of storage to meet my needs. Overall, this is a great phone but even better if you can catch it on sale.

The phone is a lower to midtier device. The software and processor are pretty good. The camera isn't really matching the 108mp listed on it. The pics are clear, but wont compare to any of the top brand items.

“The Motorola Edge: Affordable Premium with a Stylish Touch”
The Motorola Edge series is making waves with its sophisticated design and solid performance. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro combines style and functionality, boasting a sleek 6.7-inch OLED display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits for stunning visuals. Its elegant curved edges and variety of finishes (like the Pearl and vegan leather options) make it an attractive choice. However, the narrow body and curved screen can sometimes be challenging to handle, and accidental screen touches are common.
Under the hood, Motorola packed in power with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and up to 12GB RAM, which keeps performance smooth even during gaming or multitasking. Additionally, its 4,500mAh battery paired with super-fast 125W charging helps you stay powered up without long waits.
The camera system, while impressive on paper with a 50MP primary camera and additional lenses for ultra-wide and telephoto shots, occasionally struggles with lower lighting, a trade-off that’s reasonable given its mid-range pricing. Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate the high-res 50MP front camera that captures detailed shots.
Ultimately, the Motorola Edge balances price and quality, making it a great mid-range choice for users wanting a stylish phone without breaking the bank.
This review combines user-favored aspects of Motorola Edge phones like design, display, and value, while being realistic about some trade-offs. Adjust it to include any personal experiences you may have had with the phone.

There are so many positives and very little negatives which I will get out of the way first. Keep in mind this phone is not $1000 it’s $449. I wished the screen was brighter. That, and I wished the phone was dust resistant and water proof. I know getting certified cost a lot of money. But now the best parts. For me 4 -5 Days Battery life! I use about 10% a day. 4:30am until 9pm I use 8% and the phone is set at 144 Refresh rate which is above most FlagShips phones. 5G, 8 GB RAM and 256GB Storage and 2.4 GHZ Power with the 778 Snap Dragon Chip set. I’m just getting started. I have always been a big fan of MOTOROLA Gestures and Software skin which you actually use. Face Recognition Awesome. The Design and color are very flashy a beautiful Blue. Did I mention the 6.8inch Screen? Now here’s something no one expected 108MP Rear Shooter with real useful easy to use software. MOTO EDGE Unlocked 2021 running Android 11 after 2 weeks is a nice upgrade

Display, camera and especially the video is dazzling, and the battery life is good. I get two days with a good amount of use from the battery. The camera and video quality is incredible. But as a phone there's issues. The speaker shoots out the end of the top of the phone it has to be positioned at your ear. That moves the microphone at the bottom of the phone further from your mouth and listeners report losing my voice nearly entirely. So it's hard to have perfectly placed when you're talking casually. My wife doesn't like it and everyone I've talked to has mentioned the voice disappearing unless the microphone is right in the exact perfect place.

I used to be a real motorola fan back in the olden days of bar phones and such but they lost me a few years ago, the phone i wanted was discontinued so i decided to try another Motorola. the phone looks nice and the hardware features are a good value but the phone is a bit quirky and takes a bit to get used to.
For starters the fingerprint reader is on the power button, if you just touch it it reads your fingerprint and unlocks the phone but if you are like me you can't learn to just touch the button. if you press the button its the lock so you unlock it and lock it at the same time. then you freak the f out and press it again and again and get mad cause it wont unlock then read the screen and it now wants your code cause the phone is angry with you for pressing the button too many times.
Phone randomly reboots and locks up, just periodically every few weeks it will just reboot in my pocket and then it says "Hello Moto" like its mocking me for falling for another Motorola phone. And next, the flashlight. Like every other phone i've used when the camera is in use you cant use the flashlight, and some phones if you have the flashlight on while you open the camera you will get a warning or it will just turn the flashlight off. well this phone has some strange AI built in where it is trying to use the camera hardware constantly while you don't have it open and the result is the flashlight shuts itself off with a message that camera hardware is in use after being on random lengths of time from half a second to a min, it never stays on for long. i did manage to install a third party flashlight app with a lockscreen flashlight button so if i turn the flashlight on without unlocking the phone it seems to stay on but it took me countless cuss words to find that workaround.
now the good, Superior battery life to most android phones i've seen. The battery can last over two days with light use, For me its regularly at 75-80 percent at the end of the day, i like that a lot because i sometimes forget to plug it in and i use it for an alarm.
the screen is big, its bigger than most of the higher end phones out today, they seem to be on a getting smaller trend again. its bright enough and the color seems good to me. i've had it 8 months and still haven't gotten used to the quirks but i expect a tragic end to it soon anyhow as its getting old in phone years. its served its purpose and it was a decient price.
