So far so good. 4 stars because it's functional features are not smooth. Like no back button and no text copy features. Other than that it is standard. The micro camera is hard to focus also.

Only had the phone for a couple weeks so I'm still learning. Did my research before upgrading from my moto g6 which I had for many years and liked but was now very sluggish and low on memory. Had trouble understanding why I couldn't use the SIM card in my g6. When the card was removed by the Geek Squad I found out it had been destroyed when I had spilled coffee on the phone and the coffee had seeped onto the card.
This moto g power 5g 2024 is lightning fast with more RAM and memory. The Best Buy Geek Squad helped me transfer data and did a great job. The only problem was setting up my Yahoo account which was also a problem on my g6, so I have to assume Yahoo doesn't make it easy. Since I went from one Motorola to another, many functions are the same. I gave 4 stars because the sound ring tone options are minimal. I was hoping to pick the same tones I had on the g6 so they would be recognizable but that isn't the case. Am still adjusting to the new tones. The phone is bigger than the g6 but I'm getting used to that. Bought a case with a screen shield and kickstand. I can go 2 days on one charge which is nice. With the help of the Geek Squad I set up a code security as well as fingerprint security which is on the side of the phone. I've used the camera once and video once and am happy with the clarity. I didn't buy the phone for the camera. If you're a real camera buff, this is probably not the phone for you. Motorola has been criticized for being stingy on system upgrades and it's true with this phone as well. One system upgrade but 3 security upgrades. I think it's already upgraded to Android 14. My g6 stopped getting system upgrades several years ago and the phone still met my needs other than becoming sluggish. I'm hoping this phone will perform as well.
Overall I'm very happy with the moto g power 5g 2024. There's more I need to learn about this phone's capabilities but there are a lot of videos I can watch to help me. I would have given it 5 stars except for the minimal ring tones. But I highly recommend this phone which is a great phone in the $300 range.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback, Biscuit2. It's fantastic to know that the phone's performance, speed, and additional features like increased RAM and memory have made a noticeable difference in your daily use. We appreciate your recognition of the assistance provided by the Best Buy Geek Squad in transferring data and setting up security features. If you have any further questions or need assistance in exploring more of the Moto G Power 5G 2024's capabilities, don't hesitate to reach out. Bought this reasonably priced phone to replace an older Motorola phone that was no longer receiving operating system updates, had insufficient memory and storage space, and was beginning to have some issues. This kept the Moto Actions we were used to, the camera seems great with new features to learn, and overall it seems snappy and responsive. It took the SD card as well, which we were using as the main storage would otherwise fill up, so that all transferred over easily. No problems. Battery capacity is great - it can go a second day without charging with our normal use.
The only issue was figuring out that the "power down" function was set instead to "assistant" but we switched that back to the way it was before. So yes, this is a great value and we hope to get quite a bit of life out of it.
Thank you for your detailed feedback, MotorolaUser. We’re thrilled to hear that your new phone is meeting your needs and that you’re enjoying the Moto Actions, camera, and overall performance. It’s also great to know that the SD card transfer and battery life have been positive for you. This cellphone has only one SIM card slot and one eSIM.
SIM Card - Dual SIM (1 physical Nano SIM + eSIM + 1 microSD)
I was able with help of AT&T add the eSIM. The other Mobile service I use is Tello mobile (that uses T-Mobil network). Tello stated online that eSIM would not work with this phone. I was able to use the Nano SIM for that service.
So, I did manage to get my phone to run both services at the same time.
The sound is better than that of my old phone Nokia G20 louder and clearer.
The video is of higher resolution at: Resolution - Full HD+ (2400 x 1080)
This phone also has 5000mAh Battery great for long usage and talk time.
Hi Michael, It's great to hear that you were able to successfully set up both your AT&T eSIM and Tello mobile Nano SIM on your phone. That's fantastic that the sound quality is an improvement over your previous phone, and the higher-resolution video is a nice bonus. The 5000mAh battery is a standout feature for long usage. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out and we'll be happy to assist you. -Mitch

Truly a good android phone by Motorola. Large built in memory. I added a extra SSD for extra room for my photos. It's unlocked, but I have a Verizon SIM card. The power g has a built-in eSim needing you only have to register it with your carrier. Great option. 5g service automatically on if in your area. You don't need to contact your provider. The finger reader works great. Sound quality is very nice. Clear screen and refresh. Sharp and clear. Responsive touch screen. Fast processing. Awesome camera. Wireless charging and a long lasting battery.

This is the best budget phone with Android 14 IMHO. I had the 2023 version and although this years Mediatek Dimensity 7020 is pretty much the same as last years Dimensity 930, the extra RAM (8 GB total) makes this device run smoother and faster. The screen is fantastic and bright. I love the battery life and the side fingerprint sensor is always my fave and this year Face Unlock works a lot faster. Thanks to Motorola for listening and adding NFC for easy Google wallet/Pay this time. The Pale Lilac color is incredibly good looking and the vegan leather is so easy to hold and comfy to grip. I am also happy with the OIS camera, beyond solid. Glad I returned the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G for this. The Exynos chip was a little slower and laggy while using my Amazon Flex Delivery App. This may be a mid-range phone but people think I paid $500-$600 for it!! My wife is selling her Pixel 7 so she can buy this one as well. That speaks volumes!

Nice phone. I like the large size. It's pretty easy to use and has a bright screen that is easy to read. The actual Moto instructions are a bit hard for my husband to understand but a young savvy person would have no trouble. I definitely recommend it. My husband had an iPhone and it just wouldn't keep power and was very hard to read. This is a huge improvement!

At this price point I couldn't be happier. I bought this as a temporary phone while my Motorola Razor Plus 2023 was being repaired for defective screen. It gets better 5G than the Razr and though I've received my Razr back, I'm still using this phone! Anyone want a refurbished Razr? lol

This is a nice phone for the price. It's fast and has lots of storage capacity. I chose this one because it has decent storage, wireless charging, accepts a micro SD card and, is network unlocked. It turns out that purchasing this phone without signing up for a service was actually $20 lower than one with a new service. I was not going to sign up for a new service either way. However, the price is usually higher for a phone without. Perhaps an oversight from BestBuy in this case. I don't really like the OS, Android 14. After getting used to it, it works fine. I'm starting to like it. My previous phone is Android 9. This OS lacks the elegance and sexiness that my old phone had, as well as a bunch of features and options, some of which may have directly been from LG.
It's like a stripped down version on the face, far less customizable. But as far as outright function, it is so far flawless and very fast. The comparison of the OS above is noticed on PC and Apple as well so, apparently that's just where the industry has gone at this point, cold and generic. For the money I do recommend this phone. It does what it's supposed to and it's inexpensive enough to replace when they decide it's obsolete.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the phone, MandKArms. We're glad to hear that you're satisfied with its speed and storage capacity. We understand your concerns about the pricing and the OS experience. It's true that different phones come with varying features and pricing structures, and we apologize if this caused any inconvenience. Your feedback about the OS is valuable, and we'll make sure to pass it along to improve our offerings. If you have any more feedback or questions, feel free to reach out. Enjoy your new phone! -Elle

This phone had a lot more Google setup interference than my last 3 LG phones; they were also moderated by Amazon apps. My contacts were loaded twice, superimposed! I still have more unscrambling to do.
The battery is @ 10 hours with blah-blah about when I choose to charge. Ignored. The AI is a Google spawn ... slow learner.
Returned a wireless charger specified for this phone (not to Best Buy). The charger pad got hot pretty quickly and the speed was slower than a fast cable. If you use one, be sure to monitor for a hot phone, hot pad, flash fire ...
Response, sound and photos are good. Lots of options but lots of unsolicited Google notifications.

Great phone. Super fast. Upgrades to Android 15. Gaming runs smoothly and can function under high stress very well. The battery life is commensurate to what we've come to expect from Motorola over the years. The screen is very clean and the variable refresh rate 60-120hz depending on the needs of the app being used is a neat feature. Plenty of RAM to keep the phone from lagging or apps shutting down prematurely or during use. Phone doesn't get very hot under heavy load. Phone is carrier unlocked so can be used with any esim, nano sim carrier seamlessly.
This is definitely one of the best mid range phones I've ever used. For the price it is unbeatable. And is super lightweight. The dual sim (nano/esim) is also a welcome feature. I highly recommend this phone. It's seriously one of the best purchases I've made in quite a while.
P.s. free 2 day shipping was amazing too. It arrived super fast.

Great phone, runs smoothly, calls are clear..clean Android.. Motorola had a few bloatware apps that were easy to delete..have had iPhone and Samsung (way to many Samsung apps).. Motorola seems to have the best bang for you buck..not to concerned about several years of updates..one android update and 3 security updates work for me..most people would upgrade to another phone around 3 years...so far no problems..I did upgrade from a moto g power 5g 2023( no problems with the power 2023)... upgraded for the pay with phone and wireless charging is an extra..Best Buy no problems.. helpful, friendly and knowledgeable..
