Got this yesterday and tested one day and a half.
Pros:
Cool look and design. Internal screen is great and you can barely notice the crease while using it, just like a regular smartphone.
External screen also has great display quality and is easy to customize. A lot of tasks can be done on it. For games, I tested SimCity Buildit, it works well and smoothly.
Camera is more than enough for daily use. I'm not a phone camera fan so just compared it to my XS Max. Photos are brighter than iPhones.
Battery life is decent, don't have to charge overnight. Charging speed is fast with Moto 30W charger.
Cons:
Random software/settings bugs. Auto-brightness on external screen always jumps to very dark and then jumps back to bright (but not happen on internal screen under the same lighting)
Others:
You may need some time to get on with dual screens, but overall it is fun to have and meets all the requirements of a smartphone.
DON'T use non-official internal screen protectors, this may void your warranty

Motorola is a hit or miss for people. Motorola is a hit for me . I have had the RAZR 5G, Edge+ 2022, G100 & G200, and now the RAZR+ 2023. All great devices. The only downside to Motorola devices are updates. Motorola and Asus do not offer many updates, maybe one or two for most of their devices. Going forward this may change. If updates are a must have on your check list Motorola devices are not a good options.
I like the RAZR because it is foldable, fast, good camera, and easy to carry on the go. It is a show stopper because of the small form factor and it can do so much. Ready for is by far my favorite feature of this device.

I am in love with this phone and its features. I am so glad I chose the Razr+ over the Basic Razr. The front screen is a MUST HAVE !!! I love the fact that I can answer and make calls, texts, emails, access the calendar, play games, check the weather and even check Social Media all from the front screen . The camera quality is so crisp and clear, and can also take pictures with it being closed. There is even a feature where a silly face pops up to make your children look at the camera and smile when taking pictures. I also love how easy it is to access the flashlight, by just shaking the phone while closed. The battery lasts so long on this phone, and it doesn’t take long to get a full charge. I would definitely say this phone was worth the purchase price !

Motorola has really stepped up their game with their last couple of releases. I've owned flip phones before, including the first Moto Razr and Samsung Flip 4. Great battery life, better than the z flip 4, and the external screen is very usefull, unlike the flip 4. You can open, and use any app. I'm hearing, though, that the Galaxy Flip 5 might have a larger external screen. The Moto Razr has a less noticeable crease, and runs on Motos version of stock android. It also conects well with my Moto wireless android auto adapter in my car. Nothing to complain about it, so far. Pictued is the retro Moto Razr home acreen you can activate.

My first phone was a Motorola in 2006, and I still have fond memories of the brand. That's why I was so excited to find the Motorola Razr at such a great price! The displays and camera are amazing, and the Gesture features and Gemini AI are excellent as well. The battery lasts a long time, which is really important to me. This phone has lived up to all my expectations, and I'm happy to have chosen Motorola again.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, StanleyS. We're thrilled to hear that you're loving your Moto Razr and that it’s living up to your expectations. It’s amazing to see how the brand has been a part of your journey since your first Motorola phone in 2006. That’s such a great story! We’re glad you’re enjoying the displays, camera, Gesture features, and Gemini AI. Plus, we completely agree, a long-lasting battery is a game changer. Previous phones.
Personal: Pixel 7 and 6
Work: Samsung 23 FE and IPhone 15
As a phone: It works just as well as the others.
As a camera: Better than the P6, IP15 and 23FE
Battery: about equal to the P6 and IP15
Screen: Better that the pixels and Samsung, equal to the iPhone if you can look past the noticeable crease.
Updates: this is the big down size of a moto phone. They are slow and with older devices, they won't update after about 3 years after launch.
Size: This is where it blows the others away. It fits in your hand and pocket so well. For most of quick movements, answering, picking up to skip a song or text messages. You just reply. I only open for games, browsing and shopping. And why open, is thinner than the rest. It fits the hand better. I'm so confident in my grip that I don't use a case
If you can get it for 300 or less. Jump on it

It has wonderful cameras which is what I wasn't expecting. It works wonderfully and the battery life is crazy good! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a foldable phone! I ordered this because my pixel 6 pro was about to crap out. It came the next day surprisingly and has worked great!

The only benefit for me of the bigger Fold-style phones is that they have usable outside screens. This brings that to my preferred Flip-style form factor and I LOVE IT.
Apps I've been loving having access to on the outside:
- Camera
- YouTube & YouTube Music
- Messaging Apps (SMS, Telegram)
- Social Media (Discord, Twitter, Reddit, etc.)
- Email!
- Pokémon GO
- Most everything else you can think of (only a few exceptions so far)
Some apps might look a bit odd in the aspect ratio of the outside screen, but you have the ability to either:
- Make the app take the more space (including the camera area)
- Make the app take less space to give you access to buttons that may have been hidden by the cameras
- Flip the phone over to the big screen for everything else
Compared to my most recent Samsung Z Flip 4:
- WAY more useful when closed
- Love the Motorola gestures for camera and flashlight access (no buttons needed!)
- Screen quality is very similar (both great)
- Similar Battery Life (but slower charging)
- Camera quality was a bit better on the Flip, but totally fine for me
- Less accessories available for the Razr+ (for now at least)
So glad Motorola included wireless charging this time around as I've become so accustomed to it. That along with the more stylish look vs the leaked Samsung Z Flip 5 made this a no brainer for me.

I've been using the phone for about a week and I really enjoy it. I like the form factor and I can do most basic tasks with phone closed. Fold isn't really noticeable. I know I could get a better specs phone for the same price that didn't fold but the small size is great for me. Camera is decent; first pic I took with phone. Batter life is adequate. I can last a day
Hi IvanS, We’re so glad to hear that you’re enjoying the compact size and form factor of your phone. It’s great to know that you can accomplish most tasks with the phone closed and that the fold is barely noticeable. We appreciate your feedback on the camera and battery life as well. Folding phones in general are VERY dependent on your taste. If you like the latest trends in tech, then folding phones are awesome. But if you’re a regular joe schmoe who does manual labor or anything related, you WILL break this phone. It’s a matter of when, not if. I personally like it because it’s a great way to experience stock android while also getting the best in folding technology, at least when it was new. The only downside for most people is the camera system. They’re not bad or anything, but for $1000 MSRP, it’s a bit underwhelming. The lack of a telephoto is a big downside for me personally, although I consider the ultra wide to be even more important, so it is what it is. Battery life was awesome, easily able to get all day if I minimize my usage to just the 3.6 inch cover display. In 2024 though, I would recommend getting the updated models.

Phone works great. The sound quality is good and the camera is good. I like that you can do everything in the front screen if you don't want to open it up. When you open it up whatever you were doing on the front screen will display on the inner screen. If you want you can do a split screen and have 2 apps opened at once and scroll through both of them. The picture quality it really. The pictures I posted are just with the phone no editing so you can see how good the picture quality is
Thank you for sharing your experience, CodyH. We're glad to hear you're enjoying the convenience of the front display, the seamless transition between screens, and the multitasking capabilities. It's also great to know you're impressed with the camera quality, especially without any editing! We appreciate your feedback and support. Nice and compact finally a phone that fits in your pocket. Good response cool features such as funny faces when taking a picture of people. Cameras okay but not great quality or zoom feature will be grainy borderline blurry. All in all decent for the price.

My Samsung flip 4 died. Replaced with this Motorola Raz. It is made much better than Samsung. Of course, changing phones is a whole new learning experience today. Excellent phone.

This is not the forum to give Product detail review, most people know it. What I personally liked was the Price and a flip phone too. With this deal, it is difficult to find this phone anywhere else except Best Buy. I was lucky enough to get this mobile in my favorite store-Frisco. However, one comment I want particularly to make about the Phone is the battery life… It is better although not excellent - well most phones in the market do have good, better battery lives although not excellent.

Loved this product, 256 GB memery holds a lots of photos and videos. Very slim and light weight, screen size is big too. Fits in a small pocket when it fold. Sound quality and picture quality is awesome too. The best thing is price, battery doesnt last long coz if you watching videos but good with just talk and text.
Hi MotorolaRazr8GB256GB, Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you're enjoying the device, especially its large storage capacity, slim design, foldable form factor, and overall sound and picture quality. It’s great to know it fits well in your pocket and offers strong value for the price. We appreciate your note about battery life during video playback. That can vary depending on brightness settings, resolution, and background apps, but we’re glad it performs well for everyday use like talk and text. I really like this phone!! The flip portion is really cool, it's definitely a conversation starter and it's really satisfying to hang up phone calls by flipping it closed. It's very useful to look at/control Spotify, calendar, messages, emails, weather, notifications, calculator and set alarms, etc. from the outside screen. Battery life is not bad, it's not going to be as good as a full size phone but still plenty and charges SUPER fast wirelessly and with Quick Chargers.
It actually feels very sturdy but I put a Zagg Bridgetown case on it - which makes me feel far more confident using this awesome phone. Fast enough to run all my apps, plenty of storage space to download music and hold all my photos/memes.
Good sound quality from the built-in speakers, and the Bluetooth distance is great when hooking up to my portable speakers. Highly recommend!

It's a great phone! Definitely gets peoples attention and a convo going! Only cons are privacy screen protector aftermarket aren't great! Can't fold much or it'll get air bubbles but other than that it's a great phone! Has a great camera as well! Great battery life as well!

I feel like Captain Kirk every time I answer a phone call on this thing. It's fabulous, the camera is actually really decent on this phone. 960 frames per second slow motion?! Wow! I took a video of a bee the other day it was crazy. Fold the phone halfway and have a video conversation with somebody handless. Folded halfway and it becomes a tripod for you anywhere to film. I'm still finding cool new hacks for this phone and I've only had it for a couple of months. Thank you Motorola for finally making something cool. After the Moto mods.

Love the full front screen.Form factor is the best for compactness. Fingerprint unlock is fast and flawless. Screen is bright. Pure android with just minimal moto overlay.
I would recommend this to a friend
