I finally found walkie talkies that work from my house to my moms house, 1 mile away.. Many houses between us as we live in the city. These Motorola walkie talkies are awesome! Ive gone through 5 different walkie talkies that claim to work in the city and DO NOT. I finally found these.. the first walkie talkies that actually work while inside both houses. There's a fire station in the middle and 7 blocks of houses. Top of the line cobras don't work that are 3 times the price of these. These are crystal clear at a mile away. Also, work while driving 2 miles apart. May work further, that's just when I stopped testing them.

Good walkie talkie with decent range. The sound quality is good and the functions are pretty intuitive. Took these to a large wilderness park (in Orange County, CA) and was able to get about a 1 mile range on a FRS frequency, which was good enough for us. Haven't tried the GMRS frequencies and so I can't say how good the range and sound quality is on those. The walkie talkies' lcd screen is not the most durable and so the screen will crack if dropped the wrong way.

I purchased these from reading the reviews, and they sure were correct in saying these walkie talkies are the BEST!!! The sound is crystal clear, and they work at a distance without any problem. There are two settings for the radio waves, so these travel a good distance. The color is bright making them easy to find. They float in water, have a flashlight, weather radio, and can't be beat!!!

Great coverage area. I live an area where there are many buildings and I have used them from being inside a grocery store to my home which is about two miles away. So convenient than using the cell phone. Also have used while having to follow each other in a car. So many uses for these electronic gadgets. So many people tell us that is awesome how we use them. It is not just for the outdoors. The only problem was that the charge port quit working so I called Motorola. It has a two year warranty and plan to replace it. You can not go wrong with these awesome walkie-talkies.

These are nice with the built in flashlights and easy to carry. I haven’t seen a 35 mile range on them they break up about a half mile apart but maybe it’s operator error on my part.

I bought these for my grandson. Although it took a while for him to get the hang of it because of his age, he finally was able to call out to daddy when he woke from a nap. The reception is great. The quality is great too. I’d recommend these for anyone. Although my grandson was a little too young, I wanted him to have a good set! I may be buying another set as a gift this summer and a set for us!

The battery pack that came with the radio shows that it's charging. However, the battery does not fully charged even when left charging for 24 hours.

Pretty decent radios, however, the speaker/sound gets extremely garbled if you use them in the cold weather. And I'm not talking about sub-zero cold, average 30-40 degrees for no more than an hour. Sounds like talking under water. Not sure why this is and it's a pretty important feature.

Very clear and good quality walkies. This allows my parents to communicate with each other when one is in the garden or out and about when a cell phone won’t work well. Great addition.

Good radio with a lot of features, only flaw is you have to wait almost 2-4 seconds before speaking .

Heavy duty feel. Not the easiest to use and switch channels. The volume and channel buttons are kind of difficult to maneuver and update. Plus the two devices don’t have the same sound.

I don’t even remember buying these. I wonder where they are! Pretty sure I got them for camping or hiking but ... someone come over and locate them for me!

I use these for paranormal investigations and has good range and the built in flashlight comes in handy.

Great signal for the distance. I use them in the woods and get great reception.

I purchase this and they are the best. Great signal even though the location I was have vegetation.

You can't even get a mile distance with this radios it's a flaglarant lie that they comunicate at 35 miles. what a joke.

These walkie talkies are easy to use and have great sound between them when talking to others.

Not good to put it mildly. 35 mi? Lol, couldn’t even talk in the house, chyna junk like most things outta that commie joint. Returned and got my money back… Not today Winnie!
