Up until now, I have been an Asus fan. Nevertheless, when my last Asus laptop started to act up to the point I could no longer use it, I thought I would take the plunge and try an Alienware laptop. They look so darn cool and have the reputation to match. However, I am not a gamer. I mainly do bookkeeping and administrative work; so, whatever laptop I purchased had to meet my business and personal needs first. And while gaming laptops are overkill for what I do, I have always preferred the power, responsiveness and speed of them. I take comfort in knowing that no matter what I throw at my laptop, it will be more than enough.
In searching for my replacement laptop, I had three requirements: backlit keyboard so I can work easily in the dark . . . numeric keypad to enter and calculate data faster . . . and ample portability so that I can painlessly throw it in and out of my backpack. I do a lot of work on the go since I double as a Stay-at-Home Mom and thus drive my son and his friends to all their afterschool activities four to five times a week. It’s a lot of waiting around. Therefore, working in the car while I wait is essential to getting my work done. Portability is a must; so, a 15” laptop seemed like the perfect size for me and if a laptop didn’t have a backlit keyboard, it was not considered. When I looked at the 15” Alienware, it lacked the numeric keyboard but was just OK weight-wise. The 17” one had the numeric keyboard but could be used as a very expensive weight to sink a body. So, that’s when I kept researching, reading reviews and set my sights on this MSI laptop, and I haven’t regretted my decision even for a second.
It may sound strange to purchase a gaming laptop when I’m not a gamer, but I am impatient and like to be ready for any situation. While it isn’t the norm, sometimes I do find I need a powerful enough computer to process some rather large photos, videos, graphics and CAD files. Plus buying more computer than I need also tends to prolong the time I have a laptop. As time passes and technology gets better, my laptop remains current a little longer than if I had bought a normal business laptop. Also, let’s face it . . . those business laptops are a bit stuffy and not as fun. I want to enjoy using my laptop, since I use it so much . . . and this MSI laptop has not disappointed me in the least.
My favorite part of this laptop is the keyboard – and yep – it has that numeric keypad I desperately need to do my work. I also love how bright the backlit keys are. I work a lot in the dark, because I do the bulk of my work next to a sleeping spouse or child. I also love how I can customize the keyboard using the SteelSeries software. I’m still learning how to program it, but it was easy enough where I could jump in and make changes with little instruction. Now, I can have my keyboard reflect my mood whether I’m feeling blue, red hot or a little rainbow-y. I also love how the keys feel under my fingers. Compared to my last laptop, the keys are so much quieter, except the spacebar and the touchpad. I do wish they were as quiet as the rest of the keyboard, and as another reviewer pointed out, you do have to put a little more effort when clicking down on the touchpad. Not a deal breaker for me. First world problem.
Speaking of quiet, the laptop itself is also super quiet – as in I cannot hear it at all. If the keyboard lights and display weren’t on, you would have no idea this thing was working – another great perk for working at night. With that said, there have been a few times the fans kicked on and became a little loud, but the noise was short-lived, and it was back to the norm in no time. Since I was only doing administrative work, I have no idea why it did what it did, but it was not enough concern to take any pause. Since getting this laptop, my husband has gotten into Fortnite and now steals my laptop from time to time (note he has a Mac), so he can play with my son (who plays on the PS4) at the same time. I do notice the loudness of the fans when he’s playing the game, but outside of that kind of gaming, it’s super quiet.
Side note – not sure if it’s a testament to the speed of this laptop, but Fortnite seems to load a lot faster on this laptop than my son’s PS4 Pro.
One bonus I hadn’t considered . . . it’s a sleek looking computer that could easily pass as a regular/business laptop – a hybrid of sorts. It’s only when you open it, that it has this beautiful keyboard surprise inside. And if you turn off the keyboard lights or use one light color, most people would probably not know it’s a gaming laptop. And the MSI logo is fierce – but not overpowering the entire case. So, it doesn’t scream I HAVE A GAMING LAPTOP AND YOU DON’T . . . well, you don’t . . . but maybe you should.
The one last thing I love – the portability. I know I already touched on it earlier, but it is so much lighter than the Alienware laptops. When I was at Best Buy to make my final decision, I again picked up the Alienware laptops versus this MSI one – just to be absolutely sure I didn’t want the Alienware – and it was a no brainer. This MSI was way lighter than either the 15” or 17” Alienware laptops. It was remarkably lighter than my non-gaming Asus which didn’t have half the features or specs this computer has. Maybe if I didn’t need to lug around a laptop all the time and could just sit my laptop down as a desktop replacement – maybe I would have gone with the 17” Alienware, but after owning this MSI one, it is hands down, my favorite laptop to date. When the time is up on this one, I would not hesitate to buy MSI again.
Full disclosure - my mother is Taiwanese; so, supporting a product with roots in Taiwan also influenced my decision to buy this MSI laptop.

MSI - 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 1TB Hard Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive - Aluminum Black
The last time I bought a laptop that could game it was a big disappointment. This 15.6-inch MSI GS63 Stealth Thin-010 gaming laptop has completely changed the way I look at gaming laptops. This competes with the best the industry has to offer in its price range. Its thin and light, looks great and even with long gaming sessions the fan doesn’t get to loud and even better it keeps the temps under control. The new six core Intel processor is a beast. It really is a big step up from the previous generation and its about time Intel put out a product like this. Prior i7 processors were a little bit better each time but not by much. The eighth generation processors really are a nice performance boost. Add a true 6GB Nvidia GTX 1060 and 1080p gaming is like butter. I have connected it to my 34” widescreen 2k G-Sync monitor and it pushes it just fine. I do have to turn down some of the game setting from my desktop computer but that would be true for any GTX 1060. Oh and G-Sync was working just fine on the display port connector. You might need to get an adapter since the laptop only has a mini displayport connector. But that's a small trade off for how thin this laptop is. It has a great RGB Steelseries keyboard. It is fun to have the lights going and there are many setting options including turning them off if you want. I like how if you hit the FN key only the keys that are tied to that function key light up. It makes finding the keys to change the screen brightness or volume easy to find. One problem I always have with laptops is the trackpad. I do like the one here. It maynot be the best but it feels and works just fine. I would still game with a mouse but it never got in the way. There is much to like here but there is room for improvement. One thing I do not understand is why MSI elected to use a SSD drive in the M.2 connector. The difference in the speed of the M.2 drives over SSD drives is three to four times faster. And in this laptop it is quite difficult to change. Now that I have many hours on it I don’t find it to be a problem but it just seems silly to have the faster connection and not use it. Once the warranty is over I might think about changing it but it is a minor annoyance. The screen is bright and colorful. There are better screens to be found but the price goes up. Still I like the screen and really don’t have any complaints. I would have liked it to be a G-Sync screen with a higher refresh rate but it is a nice screen and the GTX 1060 is a good match for it. I have not had many MSI products but this feels very solid and there is almost no flex. Also they have put a felt pad on the bottom. This was a good decision because you can surf with in on your lap and it doesn’t get hot. That’s partly due to the felt padding and also this laptop uses the Intel integrated graphics on the CPU when you not playing a game in full screen. Very cool and that means I am getting in excess of 4 or 5 hours of battery when I am doing other things besides gaming. To game you will always want to be connected to an outlet so it can run at full speed as much as possible. I am very satisfied with almost everything about this laptop. Now if I could just get my employer to see the light and buy this for work and trash out the business laptops we are issued. With this processor and graphics on hand it can make those travel days just a bit better and the actual work I do faster. Very well done MSI.

Needed a new laptop to travel with to and from work that was lightweight and also wanting to ability to play newer games at high settings levels. The laptop has worked wonderfully. Nice sleek black design with the only downside that is shows fingerprints easily. Like the felt on the bottom of the laptop. Can get a little hot for the lap while gaming, but almost always at a desk when gaming so a non-issue for me. The keyboard is responsive and the number pad and individually lit LED keys is a nice touch. The sound is good and crisp overall; great detail/clarity in the mid to highs but bass is a bit lacking which is not unexpected form a laptop. The battery seems to last well. Overall this laptop performs really well.

The laptop has a solid look with strength. The design is excellent with the black finish. It provides a very professional look for my work environment. I'm switching from HP into this new model and looking forward to it. So far it's been an excellent experience. It's performance lives up to it's specs. It's fast and looking forward to downloading software that will help me exceed in my job. It been recommended to me and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I have found this laptop to be my everyday use and help produce the quality of work I'm used too.

This laptop really impressed me. It has a much slimmer profile than the 15.5” Alienware I purchased a last year, and is faster! It runs my games very smoothly on max graphics (Dirt 3 as example). Battery life is good, but not the best. Either way, when I’m gaming it’s usually plugged in. For the price the hardware feels appropriate. This is my favorite keyboard I’ve typed on yet. And as a computer repair technician/IT support I’ve worked on many keyboards. It just feels natural. I’ll update my review if there’s ever a complaint but non yet!

I bought this laptop for the overall performance that it can offer. I needed a laptop with a top-of-the-line processor, a decent graphics card, and enough RAM to get the job done. I occasionally game and edit some videos but I primarily work with engineering programs such as CAD and Solidworks. I wanted a laptop with enough capability to not only complete all of these tasks but that would be small enough to not kill my back travelling back and forth from classes to work. This led me to the MSI Stealth. This thing has blown my expectations out of the water so far.
My only negative is the touchpad. It seems fairly responsive but actually pressing the left and right buttons seems a bit too stiff. If they were loosen that up a bit it would be 5 out of 5 stars from me!
That being said: this is an awesome laptop that definitely won't disappoint! Gotta love the build quality of this brand overall!

I bought this laptop specifically for software development. As such, I have installed Ubuntu Linux on it and it works well (and my goodness is it fast!). For anyone wanting to also install Ubuntu on this laptop (18.04 at the time of this writing) you will have to adjust a few settings. Installing in UEFI mode, you will need to add a couple of flags to the Linux kernel:
In /etc/default/grub, update GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT to the following:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash acpi_osi="
Make sure to uninstall the Nouveau drivers and install the Nvidia graphics drivers (the latest from Nvidia).
Also, to fix the problem of using Shift + Home or Shift + End not working (usually seen in the browser and this VS Code) edit /etc/default/keyboard and add/update the following:
XKBOPTIONS="numpad:microsoft"
---
Now, onto the review itself.
Keyboard:
One of the first things I love about this laptop is the keyboard. There is an excellent amount of action in the Steelseries keyboard almost like mini mechanical switches (I have Brown switches on for my desktop). It's amazing that they could fit a full numpad on this 15 inch laptop without overcrowding. MSI, if you're listening, thank you so much for giving me full arrow keys. Every other laptop out there has those dang half up/down arrow keys next to full left/right arrow keys. I'm looking at you Dell, Asus, Lenovo, and even the dang Macbook Pro. The full RGB backlit and customizable keyboard is also a welcome touch. Not gonna lie, I spent an extra $500 on this laptop just for its keyboard. When all I'm going to do is development, I need an excellent keyboard. The only gripe I have with this keyboard is that there is only one Windows/Superuser key and it's on the right side! It would be nice to shorten the spacebar or move the Windows/Superuser key to the left side.
Graphics:
Since Nvidia has just released the 396 driver, I can use Steam's Proton to play *all* of my Steam Games on Linux. So far, this baby has been able to keep up with even the most demanding games. The downside being that it gets fairly hot (the GFX card is reporting mid to high 80s Celsius!) and that's with good ventilation. The fans are pretty loud at this point, but hey, it's a laptop. Most gaming laptops that seen/had will whine. Since I'm running Linux, I haven't been able to test out the VR claims with my Rift, but if anyone wants to know, just comment on here and I'll try to set up the Rift and test it out.
256GB SSD:
The SSD is solid, ;), and on Linux, it's blindingly fast:
Sample Size: 10 MiB
Average Read Rate: 540.7 MB/s (100 samples)
Average Write Rate: N/A (the OS is on this drive)
Average Access Time 0.08 msec (1000 samples)
1TB HDD:
The HDD is good for storing all of your archived games.
Sample Size: 10 MiB
Average Read Rate: 260.8 MB/s (100 samples)
Average Write Rate: 70.1 MB/s (100 samples)
Average Access Time 1.16 msec (1000 samples)
Speakers:
Probably one of the worst features on this laptop. I understand with it being a gaming laptop, the target audience is probably expected to have headphones, but still. These speakers seem to only output mid-tones (~1000Hz - 6000Hz) and sound so tinny. They work to get the point across, but don't expect 3D sound or even a good experience watching a Netflix show. They do, however, get decently loud for their size.
Ports:
4 - USB 3.0 ports, 1 - USB-C, 1 - HDMI, 1 - Mini Display, an Ethernet port, an SD card reader, and two audio ports: 1 headphone, 1 microphone. I am absolutely impressed with the number of ways you can interface with this machine. I love the power port as well. With its round shape, it is able to swivel as the laptop moves around and, surprisingly, it fits well in the lap. I've had other laptops that stick out so much that you can't even fit it in your lap (criss-cross style). This plug is very discrete in that respect and because it comes out at a 90 degree angle, I'm not worried about kinking the power cord. And while we're discussing the power cord, they give a decent amount of length! I can comfortably sit in my living room recliner and not worry about trying to hover around the nearest power outlet like a hobo around a trash fire on a cold night. Other laptops have given a measly 2 to 3 feet of cable. I've had to buy extension cords just to compensate.
Power Button:
The power button is on the side. Since the area above the keyboard is dedicated to fans and cooling, there doesn't seem to be room for the power button there which seems to be the reason for the choice. I'm not a huge fan of the button on the side as other laptops that I've had that do this make it easy to accidentally hit that button thus putting the computer to sleep or shutting it down when moving it around. The one redeeming factor with this laptop's power button, however, is that it's pretty darn flush with the side of the laptop, which will make it more difficult to press accidentally.
Form Factor:
Another huge plus, in my opinion, is that it's a powerful laptop in such a small size. It's larger than the Macbook Pro, but compared to other laptops branded as "gaming" laptops, it's pretty thin and light.
Overall, this is an excellent laptop, it's worth the $1500 price tag I paid for it, and I would definitely buy it again. Great job MSI!

Let's get down to it.
The computer -
Pros: Fast, Clean, Easily Maneuverable. The numbers on the side are an added plus as I can start doing mu own taxes now. (Just graduated college, adulthood hitting hard lol) The Keyboard lights are amazing and pretty soothing as well. They can even help you type faster, if you wanted to have some practice.
Cons: Fan is Loud if in a quiet room but if using headset, it's as if nothing is there. Hardly any bass in the speaker. I'm a track pad pusher, so it is not all that great when clicking. Great for double tapping though. If you use a mouse, you'll have no problem.
The system -
I got this computer because my last crash and couldn't be revived. I figured that this would be a great starter computer for me as I am a mechanical engineer and light gamer. Using solid works, it runs beautifully, running games like Mortal Kombat, Call of Duty, Battlefront, and yes, even Fortnite, it runs well. Looking forward to diving into video editing and photoshop as well. Maybe it is my wifi but it can stick when loading the internet some times.
Other than those things, this computer is an over great purchase. If you like, gaming, designing, editing, etc. This is your one stop MSI shop!

The MSi GS63 Stealth is an excellent laptop for any gaming, graphic artist, or RGB keyboard fan. I have had the laptop for over a month now and have found it to be excellent in every area.
The design is simple and the laptop is thin and light enough for travel and school. The chassis is durable and the added sleeve and keyboard that come with the laptop ensure that you have some added protection (even if it is minimal).
Initial setup was quick and easy. I had my computer up and running in about 30 minutes (this included setting up my windows preferences and removing bloatware).
Gaming is incredible on this machine. The GTX 1060 can handle pretty much every game at 1080p at ultra settings. I mostly play DotA and Overwatch, so I can't speak to more graphic intensive games like FFXV, but what I have seen so far has been exceptional. The keyboard is excellent as well with some fun lighting options and good key depth, although the layout is a little abnormal and does take some getting used to. Trackpad can be a little finicky with clicking, but I use a mouse most of the time so this was a non-issue for me.
The dragon center application allows you to configure various performance profiles that can be switch with a convenient keyboard shortcut. The ECO mode extends the battery life to about 6 hours, while performance mode will only give you about 2 hours of battery life.
This laptop is excellent in design, quality and performance. I highly recommend it!

This is a very reasonably priced laptop for the combination of practicality and gaming ability. Its light and compact enough for business travel, with enough graphic power and speed for at least mid-level FPS. The keyboard is extremely comfortable to use and its entertaining to set the custom backlighting for different effects (including a 'calm' color scheme for work).
The multi-phase cooling is much quieter than I expected - you can hear the blower a bit at the top speed when you're in a quiet room, but I don't find it at all invasive or annoying. One of my biggest concerns with a smaller gaming laptop had been whether it would overheat and stress the components -- my teenage daughter has helped stress test it with many hours of gaming and streaming video without any problems.
One odd issue we ran into during initial setup was that, while other programs would install easily, we could NOT successfully install Chrome until we completely deactivated the onboard virus software/firewall. I believe its a Win10 issue, but we spent way too much time figuring out why that was the only install that would repeatedly 'disappear'.
This is my first computer from MSI and I've been extremely pleased with its ease of use and performance.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm no expert when it comes to PC gaming and figuring out what is and isn't good when looking for performance in a system but I did do my research when it came to purchasing a gaming laptop and the MSI Stealth is currently worth every penny that I put into it.
I'm not going to list all the details and specs that come with it (its posted on the site and in store), but over the past few days I've been playing all my games with no issues. Some of the games so far are Fallout 4, The Witcher, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Assassin's Creed: Origins. All of them have been working just fine on high performance settings and I haven't had any issues yet.
The MSI Stealth comes with plenty of customizable options and even an unexperienced or newer PC gamer (myself) can easily find their way around the Dragon performance center and SteelSeries Engine 3 just fine.
The only downside that I notice is the fans can get slightly noisy but that easily solved with adjusting the volume.
If you are in the market for a powerful, light, and a well crafted machine, the MSI Stealth will not disappoint.

I was looking for a new gaming laptop and loved the new thin laptops like the Razer Blade and MSI GS65. However, I decided to go with this one instead because it had better specs (higher speed and way larger storage) for a cheaper price. I'm super glad I did.
This computer has been working like an absolute beast with games and also with using multiple Adobe programs at once. It looks very sleek and elegant and I like the full keyboard, unlike the GS65/RazerBlade that don't include the extra number keypad. I've even had random strangers comment about how cool it looks when I use it in public locations.
A lot of complaints I've read were about the fans, but in my case they hardly ever go off. I'd say 80% of the time they're off and completely silent, the other 20% they're on it's because the computer is getting hot but they're not crazy loud and usually don't stay on that long.
The ONLY complaint I have is the speakers. They're okay at best and don't get super loud either. My solution was to start using a separate bluetooth speaker instead and that's been working great for me.

When looking for a gaming laptop, I passed several time over MSI laptops. I checked reviews about the laptop: People are complaining about keyboard and track pad. That really scared me and almost drove me away from the MSI. Then, when checking specifications and comparing laptops, I found that MSI will give me more performance for money. I made my mind and bought the MSI. First, the keyboard and track pad are really good and acceptable. I can't complain about them.
Performance wise, the MSI was not performing well until all the updates are applied and sever reboots done. Then things started to go smooth and nice.
Temperature: Not heating at all. Fans are working occasionally and no complain about that.
Gaming: Not really a gaming person. I only need this laptop for the performance. So happy with that.
Display: Good resolution, real colors.
I like that it has an SSD and a regular HDD. That's a good combination.
Battery life is not the best but it is really acceptable.
Wifi connection is fast and good range coverage. Bluetooth connectivity is good.
I like it so far with no weird issues.

I bought this laptop after heavy research into thin and light laptops. I am a student so lightweight laptops are a must have, but I want to be able to game with out leaving campus, during my breaks between classes or homework. The performance is great on this laptop. Gaming is beautiful on the screen and the screen is plenty bright to me. I'm not too picky when it comes to the colors and brightness, it looks totally good to me. I went with the 63 instead of the 65 model because online reviews show thermal throttling issues limiting performance. The price increase wasnt justified to save .2 pounds and gain a small amount of computational power. The build of the case seems very well made, the only gripe is that it shows fingerprints. The keyboard feels very nice to type on and the range of color programming is pretty neat.
I rated this at 4 stars because my first model would not install office at all. I spent 8 hours troubleshooting with 2 factory resets and it would not install. I was able to exchange the laptop for a new model and this one installed windows without an issue.
I read that to save space and heat they used less powerful storage devices so opening programs seems slow. Apparently there is a bug using file explorer shortcut vs finding it in the start menu. My returned laptop opened file explorer at roughly 3 seconds, but my new one that I am keeping opens file explorer at 8 seconds! insane lag. However if you open file explorer from the start menu it opens instantly. For $1600 something like file explorer should not take 8 seconds to launch. The laptop I upgraded from launched file explorer with no delay.
Games play at high settings, Its solid and feels premium.
The laptop gets warm playing Monster Hunter World, I dont have measurements but it is noticeable. Unsurprising, heaving gaming generates heat and this laptop crams a full desktop into the thickness of a pancake. I dont play extended rounds of gaming so the heat stress isn't a main concern for me.
I would highly recommend this laptop, but know the bugs and quirks that youd be buying into. File explorer will hopefully get patched out.

I purchased the GS63 to use for two things, Gaming, and Schoolwork.
The Laptop performs exceptionally well in games, sometimes even better than my Custom Built PC with a GTX 1080. The Computer's built-in Microphone is also exceptional in quality, I don't even have to use a headset in order for people to understand what I am saying.
Another great feature of this laptop is the Modes. When not plugged in, the laptop defaults to "ECO Mode," which preserves battery life very well. If you would want to game while on battery, you could easily switch the laptop over to "Comfort" mode in order to get better performance. There are two other modes as well, which are not available while on battery power. "Turbo" mode and "Sport Mode." While I'm not sure what exactly these separate modes do, apart from ECO mode (which reduces battery usage), I do find them useful.
While on the go, I have absolutely no problem getting through my six to seven-hour school day while on battery. Now keep in mind, I do not use this laptop for all of my classes, but for typing papers, and internet browsing, the battery holds up very well.
The weight of this laptop is also astonishing. For all the power that it produces, it still manages to be both Thin and Light. I bought this laptop because my Dell Inspiron 7657 had a very short battery life, and it was both Heavy and Thick. I needed something that I could use as an All-Around good laptop, with both good battery life and gaming performance. This laptop fits that description perfectly.
Now one last thing to consider when buying a new laptop is port selection. My previous laptop, the Dell, did not have a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 Port. This port has actually made a huge difference in the way I use my laptop. This single port can be used for Display Output, Fast Data Transfer, and Phone Charging. On to the other ports, this laptop has:
3 USB 3.1 Ports
1 USB 2.0 Port
1 Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port
Headphone
Mic
Ethernet
SD Card Reader
Mini Display Port
HDMI Output
With the new Macbook Pro's, you get 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, and that's it. Thunderbolt 3 is very useful, but you would likely need some kind of dongle in order to actually get any work done. And also keep in mind, a similarly priced Macbook Pro does not come with a dedicated graphics card.
Here's a summary:
The MSI GS63 is the best laptop I've ever owned. The computer is able to do pretty much anything that I want it to do. And with a great selection of Ports, it's hard to beat.
One Last Thing
For people who are unaware, a Dedicated Graphics Card is pretty much required for gaming nowadays. This laptop, with the Nvidia GTX 1060, performs exceptionally well in modern games, such as Fortnite and Apex Legends. As I have just come from a gaming laptop with a GTX 1050, the upgrade to a machine with a GTX 1060 is definitely worth it. Although it may cost quite a bit more, the 1060 is very powerful and will last for a very long time.

I've been a Mac user for the last 7 or so years, mainly because I got into video and photo work and was told Macs were best for that type of specialty. Recently my 2012 iMac bit the dust and I was researching replacements, but was shocked at the ridiculous prices Apple was charging for their new "Pro" computers. Then, I spoke to a friend who is a local high end wedding filmmaker. She told me she moved from her iMac to a gaming laptop and external monitor and loved it. So that's what I decided to do. She purchased an Asus, but after doing my own research I decided on this MSI Stealth model. In comparison, the MSI build quality seems better and I also like the slim form factor and lightweight. The keyboard feels really nice to me, with a confident mechanical stroke. I must admit also, I love the backlighting and colors, guess I'm just a kid at heart. I purchased an LG Wideview monitor and Logitech mouse and keyboard and they work seamlessly with the laptop. It's taken me a couple days to adjust to using Windows 10, but I'm happy so far. The best part is I got a machine that's even more powerful than the MacBook I was considering, and for half the price! I think I'm in love with my new MSI.

not sure why my reviews aren't submitting! Unfortunately, i have to rewrite this on vacation. The computer is great. I love the feel of quality metal rather than cheap plastic. They keyboard feels natural to type on. Plus its customization ability makes it suitable for anyone.
The hybrid storage system is AMAZING to have. With the operating system naturally stored on the SSD drive the laptop can boot up in the matter of seconds. Not only does it come with a 256gb SSD drive, it also has a 1tb hard drive to ensure nothing gets lost.
I love this PC more than any other purchased by my siblings or friends. Highly recommended to anyone, the specs are so good the computer can be used universally. im not even using it to game on, but for school and college programming. However, when i do want to bust out some gaming, i can in leisure with the 16GB of RAM, and its VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card. Also, there are such diverse amount of ports! it's surprisingly hard to find a laptop with more than just a usb-c, usb port and a charge port. The MSI stealth includes even an Ethernet port so no extra attachments are needed after buying the device! love it, you guys nailed it. thanks.
