Big fan of this unit. Bought it new curbside pick up, works like a dream only had to fidget a few settings around (still learning so could be me, just wish I could turn off the LED lights it's not my fav). Pros for me: -Big case easy upgrade. -Nice 2070 graphics card & i7 processer will last you through this next gen, maybe not premium ultra graphics but clean and beautiful High-Epic on most games 60fps minimum. Cons for me: -Unnecessary lights everywhere, wonder how much I'd have saved without them. -While playing Ark:Survival evolved on max settings after about 2 hours, this thing gets HOT, placing a fan on it for a temp fix rn, *upgrade your cooling hardware pronto. Trust me* Overall, I'd buy this again 99% happy! Minus the lights and add an upgraded cooling unit and this PC is worth it 100%

This PC is pretty solid for what you are paying for. Has 1TB SSD AND 1TB HDD. Very quiet when playing games like MW, Apex, or Valorant. Only thing I suggest is that you are paying $1400 + tax on a pre-built PC. Invest an extra $150 and buy the Corsair H100i cooling unit. This PC has an i7 (which yes does NOT need to be liquid cooled) but it is HIGHLY SUGGESTED by intel. When I play games it does get a bit warm but nothing too hot. Last thing is that the tower is really big and has a lot of room for upgrades in the future. This PC is the way to go, give it a chance!

Powerful, Quiet, and subdued coolness! M.2 NVMe!

Spent a lot of time looking at pre-built desktop specs, and this MSI Aegis R Desktop was the best bang for the buck sweet spot out there! First, it has an NVidea RTX 2070 8GB video card, where most at this price point had the 1660-series, Plus, it had an M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD drive, most others only had 256GB or 512GB, and almost all others at this price point had SATA SDD, not M.2 NVMe! Sata is slower than M.2 NVMe, and cheaper, so great job MSI! The case has two RGB-color fans and an RGB CPU air-cooler. The MSI RTX 2070 video card also has RGB colors. By default the swirl RED and the video card is a rainbow fade. Very subdued colors, not too gaudy, although you can make them as colorful as you wish with the utility app. It is VERY QUIET! This was important to me. The case is also very cool looking. All the wiring was done neatly and efficiently. It has two HDD bays underneath the shelf where the power supply is. The power supply is 650w 80+ GOLD with modular wiring. The unused PSU wiring is in a bag that came with the system. The computer is boxed very well and had expanding foam insert inside case holding everything still and together. It came in a nice cloth bag as well. Very nicely done, MSI! The keyboard seems very decent "gaming-type" keyboard and the mouse has quite a few buttons and a nice, smooth scroll wheel. Both are wired, as expected on a gaming machine. So far only day one, but I am very pleased with this system so far! Even nicer is that it is NOT loaded down with BLOATWARE! Very clean install! Thank you, MSI! I fully expected to spend hours unloading the JUNK software that is usually loaded on other makers new computers. A true 5-Star worthy computer!

I needed something powerful enough for competitive gaming with friends and streaming at the same time. This thing puts out max 144fps and is beautiful. Color lighting allows me to customize my space. After owning for 2 months now, NO complaints, this thing is solid so far and hasn't had any issues. It's big so have a good place to put it. I recommend pairing with a nice MSI monitor for a complete package. Quality item and MSI help desk is available 24/7 if you need help setting up.

Great computer for the money! I know you're excited to play games on your new computer but 1st you must do all your windows updates then after that update the bios it's really easy to do hit the dragon button and go to updates and then you won't have blue screens of death and have to return it and all that stuff this computer rocks So again just update all your window stuff 1st then Update your bios By clicking on the MSI dragon button and hitting update after you restart "you ready to game it up G"

I got my PC and was very excited to start it up but right away I noticed something was wrong, my graphics card was different then the one in the picture, although still having a rtx2070 I got the Ventus addition and not the armor addition, I wouldn’t normally have a problem with this but there is a price difference in both those graphic cards so why would I pay the same price when everyone else gets the one in advertisement. As you can see in my pictures I’m missing the dragon on my graphics card since I didn’t get what was advertised.

How these ageis towers have so many problems is beyond me... It wont connect to the monitor. Tried multiple dofferent cables, made sure everything inside was connected, and still cant get it to display. I was weary of getting this tower but geek squad junked my laptop because of speaker issues so now im stuck with actual junk... hopefully will be able to return and get MONEY back, not store credit this time...

Desktop worked great the minute it was powered on. Incredibly fast. Paired with MSI monitor the graphics card is amazing. I had do some minor updates to the graphics card and small software updates. I ordered a MSI gaming monitor to see its full potential at 144hz. I recommend that you know a little about gaming desktops before making this purchase. Minor Issue: Windows 10 activation kept saying that it had already been activated on another computer. This was a simple fix by calling Microsoft support and providing the product key (used cmd prompt to find). Do not call MSI tech support, they are clueless and tried lie and say it was an issue with the motherboard. Suggestion was to just take it back to Best Buy when it was a simple fix. Overall great purchase!!!!!! Every game has run flawlessly.

I've had this pc for a while. I thought it was decently priced for the specs it has in comparison to other pcs, which i still believe. Only real bad thing I can complain about is the cpu cooler. The CPU runs hot. About 80 to 90 playing something like the witcher. Upgraded to an h212 and temps range from 30-60. 60 is under a lot of stress. Another thing thats a little annoying is that the nvme storage is separated. 300 on one and 600 on the other. Ive tried adding them together but it won't let me. Nvme is alright although sometimes I do have slow start up speeds, compared to at first when it was about a 5 second boot up. Now its about a minute or two. Motherboard is locked, no overclocking (cpu won't allow it anyway) but memory speeds are locked to 2666 even though ram is 3000. Although for Intel cpu, 2666 isn't bad. Cable management was good, all cables were in place, graphics card is good, all was as it should be for me. Only thing I struggled was with my first boot up, I was so confused about the bios. Spent about an hour trying to figure out what to do. Finally managed to launch bios and set up a boot drive, but that is my inexperience lol. I've learned alot more since then about pcs and I've even built my own since then. Do I recommend? Sure. Its not bad at all, but I would suggest to build your own to get the most bang for your buck for sure.

Upon inspection of products first day of delivery. I realized there was a minor damage to the bottom stands of the PC tower. It isn’t a major deal however who knows if there’s an internal issue that has yet to surface? The other damage was to my mouse that came with the PC. First day as well. The right click was ghosting completely. Absolutely no response. Other than these two issues. Everything else about the PC/Mouse/Keyboard are amazing. Great specs for the price, Great looks and what not. Definitely recommend for a starter! (As long as they don’t damage it in deliveries)

Great price, fast, and arrived on time

Quality is excellent. Box was shipped via UPS Next Day Air and arrived on pick up date that was advertised when I placed the order. The order actually arrived the morning it was due for pick up and was in great shape after flying almost across the country. The progress bar for pick up moved after it shipped and it only took about 4ish hours after store opening to be received in and have the pickup notice sent to me. The rig was protected with standard foam holders, covered with an MSI cloth bag, and a small instapak was used inside of the case to prevent things from moving around. Instapak was easy to remove and no cracks in the case or the tempered glass. The only real "damage" would be a few dents from the bag full of cords pushing down on the provided keyboard box but the keyboard itself is fine. Mouse did not come in any box, just stuffed in a plastic bag with the cords but it works fine. Value is great if you factor in the availability of the rig. There are rigs priced around the same or less with weaker cards, cheaper internals and I would have to wait until next week or longer for pick up or direct ship. There are more powerful set ups available but they also had long wait times. RGB and colors are nice this wasn't a big selling point for me. MSI has a mystic light software available to adjust your colors. There's a wifi/bluetooth antennae that is also provided but did not need this as I'm hooked up via ethernet. Very nice to include for folks who cannot plug in. Bloatware was brought up in other reviews. It's standard Windows bloat that you can get rid of in 30 minutes or less. I'm pairing this with a 1440p 144hz monitor and it works very well. You may need to manually set the refresh rate to 144hz with the Nvidia control panel. Not sure what's going on with other people experiencing BSOD. I updated drivers, rebooted, and have no issues.

great prebuilt. Could not build with the same parts for less using PCPartPicker with all MSI components. Only downfall is PC runs between 70-80C and i would prefer it to stay under 70 and not over 80 which happens occasionally. Will be upgrading to a Liquid Cooled system. Also doesn't seem to be as efficient without the dragon center software, which is a little touchy. The Dragon Center software is a little wonky. It doesn't control the RGB Lights on this model, a button on the tower does. It also doesn't have any other color options on the motherboard other than red even tho the software lets you choose other colors. Also one of the system fans is hooked up as a pump fan. No big deal, runs the same. But will be upgrading to a liquid cooled system than this will be a superb rig.

Great PC and super fast compared to what I had before. I did have two issues I had to resolve out of the box though. 1. It wouldn’t boot into Windows. I had to go into the BIOS and set UEFI Hard Disk:Windows Boot Manager as the first boot device as opposed to Hard Disk which had been set as the first boot device. 2. I hooked up my monitor with an HDMI connector with no problem. I had an older secondary monitor with a DVI connector which connects to the onboard video. Onboard video is disabled by default. I had to go into the BIOS again and enable the onboard video to get my second monitor to work. For anyone who isn’t PC savvy these two issues might be difficult to resolve on your own and I can imagine some people would take it back. Once I got these two issues resolved it’s been smooth sailing. The 1 TB SSD is partitioned into two drives. The C drive is 550 GB and the D drive is 363 GB. I don’t do too much gaming but do a little bit of video editing. I can hear the fan crank up during the video editing and I can imagine it may heat up during long gaming sessions. The CPU temp will get up to 60-65 C. I see other people mentioning about upgrading the CPU cooling and I can see how that could be the case depending on how you use it. Overall, great value. You should be able to run pretty much anything with this beast.

The computer works fantastically, everything was working perfectly though I was surprised by several things. I did like that there was a 'self install' info sheet in case I want to add new components, complete with QR codes that lead to youtube vids for extra info. Small issues I had were: 1) The DVI port is on the motherboard, not the GPU. So straight out of the box, you can't use it. 2) While it has 2 HDMI ports, one is on the GPU and the other is motherboard bound so again, only 1 is usable straight out of the box. 3) The SSD is partitioned, about a 600/400 split between the C and D drive. Not really an issue, but I would have preferred it if it didn't come that way. 4) The case is BIG, though this is my own fault for not looking that up before I made the purchase. 5) Included were several CDs with backups of software. The computer doesn't come with a CD drive so putting all of that on a USB stick would have been a much better option.

Runs every game I own smoothly no drops in In frames. games I play ( World of Warcraft, Destiny 2, RE remakes, predator HG, COD series, FF 14, Assassians Creed odyssey. no over heating no issues whatsoever. I’m not sure what others issues are cause I had 0 the start up was easy and simple make sure you take the foam protector out and check all your cables on the inside update your graphic drivers restart. It may appear as if you don’t have a hard drive cause this computer uses M.2 memory its a lot faster then SSD and HDD it looks similar to a ram stick. All in all for what your getting it’s well worth the price and has plenty of room for future upgrades. Very pleased highly recommend.

The PC came well package with no issues and was well cable managed. Also, the cables were great and I didn't have to re-plug or re-attach anything. The PC set-up was very easy and took no time, but when I was looking through the specs of my build I was that my storage was not as advertised but still was acceptable( 600 gb SSD and 400 gb HHD). Another small, but noticeable problem about the PC is the Mic ports didn't really work well with my Astros but that just be because they are very outdated. In conclusion, this PC was a great investment and has all you really need to play VR or any PC game, but has a few minor issues.

I had some issues when turning the PC on and as a first time PC gamer is was quite frustrating but there’s no way to learn if you don’t do it yourself right? So I watched some YouTube videos and fixed the problem because the customer support line did not work. Since I’ve gotten it up and running it’s been pretty awesome. Fast and smooth game play.
