At under $100 it will get you up and running with not many frills. If you’re on a budget it will get the job done and actually has decent overclocking chops. What you’re missing out on are ports and features like sli and cross fire.

Great B350 board for the Ryzen platform, if you don't care about overclocking and advanced features then go for this. I use it for a system exclusively for VR and it gets the job done. If you're doing a lot like webcam and stuff then you may want to go for a new motherboard since you may run into bandwidth issues with USB on that chipset on this mobo but still a very good option for $99. It does have a 200 mHz boost option for your cpu and supports good RAM options, I have G Skillz Trident Z @ 2933 speed and have had zero issues with anything related to RAM and CPU speed.

The BIOS options for basic and advanced setup were intuitive and easy to modify and test. Updating the firmware was smooth. The layout of physical components on the board could have been better. The red LEDs integrated on the board was nice. I did not check to see if color could be changed, no issue here.

I got this in a bundle with a Ryzen 2600. Sticker on the outside of the box said ryzen 2000 series compatible, so all updates were set and i didn’t need to worry about compatibility issues or updates prior to build. I coupled this with a decent GPU, 16 gb of memory and love the results so far.

Had an old eMachines with an original Intel i5 that finally died (its been on its way out from a lightening strike) a half working motherboard and CPU were the last surviving pieces. Once they died I needed an immediate replacement. BestBuy had this in stock so this is what I got. Overall it is a nice motherboard for the price. I'm not a gamer however I run several VMs, Containers and bloated IDE's. Its been a while since I've needed a new motherboard so I can't compare the modern BIOS with anything. But overall it seems pretty decent and does what I need it to. Installation was super easy. Popped in the processor and RAM without issue and mounted it in a 10 year old case without any problems. All connections are properly labeled. Currently working on Ubuntu w/ 16 gigs of RAM and 2 x 4K monitors.

This motherboard is great. it is compatible with lots of different pieces, so it has lots of upgrades. For a low priced motherboard this has a lot of options and I highly recommend it.

I wish I could have taken advantage of the Gaming features of this mobo, sadly it's a workstation and the unit wasn't for me. Installation went without a hitch and the two systems I put these in have been running 24/7 with no problems for a few weeks.

I've always loves MSI motherboards, the only thing that I was worried about was having to switch to an AMD processor. But I was completely amazed with this motherboard for the price.

There are so many different motherboards out on the market ranging from $100 and up. I found this very nice and simple motherboard and spared no expense. I would totally recommend this motherboard to beginning PC builders like myself.

I decided some time ago to upgrade my new but rather basic computer. I bought a Ryzen 5 2600 processor, and the MSI B350 Tomahawk as the foundation for my rebuild. It's a good board and has served me well so far. My only regret is that I didn't spend the extra cash and get the B450 instead.

This motherboard was perfect for my Ryzen 2600 build and it also comes ready for the 2000 series out of the box. Including the 2200g and 2400g APU's. I always preferred MSI for my motherboards. Never had any issues with MSI and customer service when needed is very helpful.

This motherboard doesn't have all the bells and whistles of more expensive boards, but catching on sale made it very worth it. MSI boards have worked well for me.

Got this at a $75 steal. Had the essentials and didn't have any defects. I personally prefer getting my components locally and until a Microcenter opens up down the block, I'll continue to shop at Best Buy as often as possible.

This is a great motherboard if you're looking to start a budget build or even a mid-range build. I recently purchased it for a mid-range myself and am thinking I'll purchase another for my next build.

First off, DO NOT TOUCH THE BIOS VERSION. Best Buy does a wonderful job at providing a fairly recent bios that will support the ryzen 3 2200g/ryzen 5 2400g. Just do the driver updates and they’ll run well. I purchase a 2200g and it’s been great with this motherboard. If it’s on sale as was the case for me, then do not hesistate. For regular price I recommend the 450 tomahawk since it’s newer, no bios headache and again it’s newer so in line with the most recent processor version. If you’re on a budget build as I was, then this is a great starter with plenty of upgrade ability.
