This is a good gaming laptop from MSI. It has all the features of a regular Windows 8 laptop as well as great features for gaming such as i7 chip, video graphics card etc. The only problem was that it was advertised on Best Buy to have back-lit keyboard where in reality that is not the case.

Purchased for my son. He loves this computer. It's great to play his games on and it can handle all he does quick.

Bought this machine for my business and first experience with MSI products. Reason I got it is that it seems to be 'best value' among all the different brands including ASUS, HP, Lenovo and Dell. It is pretty much ready to go once out of the box and it is running much faster than my old HP laptop. However, desktop came with a lot of 'extra' software preloaded at 1st impression and after trying to load 3 apps at the same time, the fan was cranking non-stop and it is very loud, although it does keeps it cool. I also can't seem to find the volume button on the keyboard and the fact that it has the keypad on the keyboards, makes it very 'crowded' to type. It is also quite heavy and no backlit keyboard for a machine that is supposed to be quite loaded. Since it has only been one day, I am so far happy with it, but will see.

I wanted a versatile laptop and didn't want to spend a lot. So far a good gaming machine and works for my graphics software too. Awesome clarity on the screen too.

Nace laptop. Looks wery nice. during games is not heated rapidly. To WiFi connected good. Too beautiful and quality packaging. For that price I think could add touchscreen.

This is the first gaming laptop I bought. It is also much cheaper than other top brands and so far it is exactly what I need.

Excellent for playing the more advanced games. Good graphics.

Actually bought this for my daughter, so I haven't actually used it. She has had no complaints so far, I compared prices and features of this laptop with several places and some listed keyboard lights for this model but I haven't seen them yet. Guess we will find out when she has more time with it, don't have any other complaints at this time.

Picked it as the specs were great and I was pleasantly surprised at the swiftness and ease of set up and overall responsiveness on the machine even during the initial update processes. I look forward to testing her limits!

Great specs and performance for the price! Can't beat it!

Very pleased with the performance. Mine came configured with two 500 GB drives (I'm guessing mSATA since I haven't opened up the back). Best laptop keyboard I've ever used (although no LED backlight). I have Adobe Photoshop, Blender and X-Plane 10 installed and it runs them all with no problems.

Lasted over six years so far and still going strong.

$300 off this laptop what a great deal. I bought this laptop because i know of MSI from the days I built my own PC with their motherboard and video cards. This laptop is built solid and run really smooth. Another reason why i bought this unit was because of its 2 year warranty.

I've had an MSI laptop similar to this one in the past and I loved it. The computing power, the visual capacity, MSI just makes great products. I have 2 issues with this product. 1) The memory is on separate drives and 2) it does NOT have a backlit keyboard like the description says it does. The seperate drives isn't bad but the amount of memory decreases to around 920GB from the formatting. The backlit keyboard was important to me (I'm a night owl) and my last laptop (MSI as well) had the feature so I guess I got spoiled by the backlit keyboard.
