MSI has the best gaming laptops around.
Pros -
1) 17-inch Laptop in a 15-inch body.
2) Intel Core i9 11900H, RTX 3070, Phison 1TB NVME SSD, and Samsung 2 x 16GB DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM PC4-25600 CL22 2Rx8 RAM destroy the competition at this price point.
3) Very professional appearance for a gaming laptop.
4) Lightweight for its size and build quality.
5) Has a full-size keyboard with a large trackpad.
6) Super low profile design with tiny bezels.
7) Thunderbolt 4
Cons-
1) Runs pretty hot. The CPU can hit 95C pretty easy and the GPU runs at about 75C.
2) Terrible battery life, but it is a desktop replacement, meaning it is expected to be plugged in most of the time.
3) Very temperamental fans.
4) The display is quite flimsy and light bleed can be bad.
5) Only two M.2 NVME slots vs the 2 NVME and 1 SATA M.2 on the GS75.
Conclusion -
There isn't much competition at this price point, especially in 17-Inch models. I love having a full-size keyboard and a large screen. Even with the issues, this is my third MSI GS Series laptop because it's a great overall product. MSI makes a great product!

If you are looking for a fast, high-quality computer with a good design, and at a fair price, this is your best option, since it not only runs all the programs that are opened quickly and efficiently (some of which are very heavy because they are focused on 3D engineering design), but it is also very comfortable to use, since the size and definition of the screen helps not to have to strain your eyes, it has a very ergonomic keyboard and mouse pad that are easily adjusted In the hands of the user, it is very easy to transport because for its large size it has a light weight, and it is also important to mention that its stylish design and luminous keyboard, which allows you to choose the color of the keys, make it very beautiful to look at .
If you are working or studying a career that requires the use of very heavy programs (such as engineering in my case), I fully recommend it, because it is the best computer I have had so far.

This laptop does not disappoint. It's fast and the graphics rock. However, it does get quite warm when it's working. I would suggest a cooling pad to keep the temperature under control and to extend the life of the pc. My only real complaint is the placement of the power cord plug in. It's in the middle of the left side (see photo) and is kind of in the way at times, which leads to more stress being put on it then it is built for. I wish it were on the back of the unit. Finally, it has two USB ports although it could use one or two more to avoid the use of a hub. But it works just fine.

I had high expectations for this product but there are some points that made me disappointed. First, the overall design and keyboard is not good, buttons especially on/off buttons and texts are weird. Second, this pc gets really hot, i bought a cooling pad for this, i dont even play games, talking about zoom sessions. Third, sometimes the screen gets weird, gets pixellated and sometimes freezes. Fourth, the screen has low brightness than i expected. I would return it if i did not need this because of my heavy schedule at school. Besides these points, it is good in performance and came with a good packaging. However, i do not highly recommend this laptop. As you research, you will see that you cant find this product in many shops, i think because of these drawbacks.

Super fast. No more delay when opening large pdf files and scrolling through. Very quick startup. Fans pump alot of heat out, without too much noise. Screen is clean without any glare. Wish power connection wasnt on middle of left side, but not big deal. Good keyboard illumination. Battery better than my old HP ENVY

Crashes On Start Up/ Reset / Sleep Mode

Ive had this computer for a few months however everytime it goes to sleep mode or resets it keeps crashing upon loading going in to recovery mode. Resetting the computer can also crash windows. Scans showed no type of viruses. Its sad for a 2k pc to have a 50/50 chance on working after waking it up or resetting it. The sure sign is when the screen will not come on and has trouble waking up or re booting. When it does work it works wonderfully. I have since just never allowed it to go in to sleep mode and that seems to fix it until it needs to be updated. Purchase with caution.

Straight out of the box, the MSI GS76 setup was easy and quick plus it performed wonderfully. The 8Gb graphics memory as well as 32Gb system RAM made it possible to run graphics intensive applications quickly with no lagging or freezing. I would recommend the MSI GS76 to anyone looking for a development laptop to take on the road.

I bought this laptop to game, and game I can. The 1 TB allows for plenty of games, but over the years it seems that more and more games require more and more storage memory, so I would say that 1 TB is cutting it close and will be cutting it short in the years to come.
However, if you are not a gamer, this computer is far the best option for its sleek design, its efficient processing power, and, general storage capacity.
Some of the main advantages are as follows:
Firstly, everything runs smoothly, especially when searching online, and, watching YouTube videos, typing and multitasking.
Some of the main disadvantages are as follows;
Firstly, sometimes the screen gets pixilated, especially under high usage, but this rare and far between.
Secondly, the laptop tends to heat up quickly, especially when playing, so a good quality fan is highly recommended, and the one I got has pretty much solved this problem.
Thirdly, you will not be able to play games in Ultra High Quality, but putting the games in the lowest settings should be best practice and should do the job. Just, don't forget the fan.

It is a great laptop with a thin and slick design, great build quality and it has more than expected performance, the 80-95 watt 3070 can be scary to buy when similar price laptops have up to 140 watts, but I can say that i am not disapointed! The things that bother is some details, the keyboard is a bit lower than normal (beacuse of air holes on top) so my wrists doesnt stay completely on it and feels unconfortable after a while, and I dont have big hands so look up more reviews about it. Other thing is that it gets loud and hot, not on the keyboard though, so it isnt a problem for most people, but how loud it can be, I can see some people having issues with it, I personally I dont care, as I play games most of the time and dont take it out to public places, but if you want to take it to a cafe, library or any simillar place, you will have to use silent mode, which greatly reduces the power of the computer. Also the display isnt that bright, so one more reason to not take it anywhere public, but great for inside gaming.

This would normally be a 4-star laptop, but given the price, it definitely deserves 5 stars.
Pros:
- the specs are amazing. At this price I didn't anything even close in terms of specs: 8-core CPU, an 8GB RTX GPU, 32GB RAM ... I love this laptop
- it's super fast (as expected from these specs)
- the battery lasts surprisingly long for these specs (I used zoom and other browsing tabs) and the battery lasted more than 4 hours. I am happy with it
- while I don't like the touchpad (it feels so cheap) the keyboard itself is pleasant to use. When you press the Fn key, the keys with special functions will light up so you can easily find them.
- quite lightweight given the specs
- the WiFi is amazingly fast too
Cons:
- the touchpad feels cheap and it's not my favorite (I used ThinkPad laptops for the last few years, this keyboard is far from it)
- the laptop gets hot, even when not using much CPU (the fans may run even after you put your laptop into hibernate)
- the webcam has no cover (I didn't know they still build laptops nowadays without a camera cover)
Side notes:
- this is a gaming computer, but I am using it for work. It's really fast.
- I have not used this laptop with a game yet (I have a desktop PC for that)
- it has Win 10 Home (I wish it had Win 10 Pro, but at this price I can't complain)
- if you want to use this as a work laptop (like I do), certain buttons such as Home, End, PageUp,... are weirdly positioned (in my opinion)
- there is quite an amount of bloatware

I want to preface this review by first saying this, I have over ten years of desktop building experience, I have built over 30 desktops pcs at this point. A few were my own, and the rest for other individuals. I have had a handful of laptops over that ten-year period as well, and this is the first laptop I am not disappointed in. That said on with the review.
-The Good-
This is an excellent laptop. It is the first laptop I have owned that a few months after purchasing the product I am not annoyed because of a drastic reduction in performance. It does have a few issues, but nothing that makes it unworthy of buying. First and foremost this laptop is listed at an incredibly fair price. When you consider the components inside alone it is a more than fair price point. Not to mention this laptop is one of the few laptops I was able to find that allows you to improve it further by doubling the amount of RAMM and increasing it to 64 GB, You also are able to add additional storage to the Laptop, and the installation slots for both are pretty easy to access. The performance is great, this laptop will handle anything you throw at it for most people, gaming, 3d development, programming, if you can think it you can do it on this laptop. All that said it does have a couple of problems worth mentioning.
- The Bad-
Although I titled the heading of this section "The Bad" in all honesty the problems I have experienced could at best be described as mildly inconvenient, and at worst described as annoying. The first issue would be that if you are doing anything that utilizes the power of the components in this Laptop, you need to have it sitting on a decent cooling pad. Because not only will this laptop overheat, like any other gaming laptop with similar components do the same task, but it overheats quickly, Next, you better have an outlet near you if you are doing anything more intensive than typing a word document, browsing the internet or watching videos online, because anything more demanding than that, if it is not plugged in you will experience delayed input response and a massive drop in framerate. The only other annoying thing about this laptop is some time for no reason at all the windows key and FN key like to swap with each other (i.e you hit the FN Key and the pc registers it as the windows key being pressed.) I do not know why it happens and I never know which key is which until I press it at that moment because they will also switch back to their proper inputs for no reason as well.
Regardless of the issues this laptop has, it is a great product, and I would recommend it to anyone. If you are gonna spend the amount of money to purchase a laptop in this price range, you are going to have a hard time finding one with even somewhat comparable components or performance. MSI really is offering a more than fairly priced Laptop with this model.
