Hands Down The Best Looking Monitor I have Owned

Alright.... So I have had a lot of monitors, a lot of them have looked great, been great for trading and productivity like the Samsung 57" Neo G9, but this by far takes the cake in terms of image quality.
I can't emphasize that it doesn't matter if MSI uses Samsung's panels or not because the way that they tune them or whatever black magic they use to make their panels look so much better than the competition is just insane.
For relevance I have seen the 34" Samsung OLED G8, I've owned the 49" Samsung OLED G9, I've seen the Alienware AW3423DW & DWF, I've had the 32" Alienware AW3225QF with a glossy 4k QD-OLED display (easy runner up and best for non ultrawide), but even the Alienware with a higher resolution and PPI somehow doesn't even come close to touching this thing as far as image quality. Another thing I am note sure how MSI has accomplished, but the raised black levels that QD-OLED seems to always suffer from seem to be significantly better on this monitor as well.
It also has the best OLED Care and burn-in prevention feature set I have seen yet so far. I am genuinely not concerned about the potential of burn-in. It's the ONLY monitor that even after hours of use when touching the back of the panel the thing literally feels cool to the touch and the crazy part is it doesn't even have fans and accomplishes this with a new passive cooling technology utilizing a graphene film in combination with a specialized heatsink (poorly managed heat dissipation can heavily contribute to burn-in risk).
By far the best monitor, ultrawide (21:9 or 32:9) or non-ultrawide (16:9) that I have ever use and even better yet it will most likely be one of the cheapest 34" UW's you find even when it's not on sale.

I bought this monitor as an upgrade, replacing my very worn Samsung 4K 32" Smart Monitor. The jump from 60hz to 240hz is insane, as well as the ultrawideness of it! The OLED screen is beautiful with a display that even the best pictures of monitors on reddit can't showoff. I am more than happy with my purchase! The only downside is the difficulty of finding/updating firmware, the way to go about it is a bit hidden but not too difficult with the help of YouTube. Other than that I couldn't be happier!

Depending on your set-up, you might have issues using the HDMI ports, which happened in my case.
Fortunately, my Thunderbolt 4 ports had no issue connecting and so far everything looks great and runs smoothly.
I submitted this with my phone so the picture may not portray the quality properly.

Beautiful monitor. Would love to have features like gsync and VRR doesn’t seem to work on pc. Qd-oled is definitely the new standard. Especially at 240hz. Definitely get a decent gpu to power this monitor. At least a 4070 super. Hope they improve on this model even more

Great monitor, love the build quality MSI has always been a company I buy parts from because of their quality. This monitor has a screen that really enhances games the colors and the deep black makes games pop. It also has a fast response time and refresh rate. I picked this monitor because of the refresh rate, qd OLED panel, and MSI great warranty. This monitor blew my mind the OLED makes such a big difference in playing games and having a USB type c built-in is great. Also, all the great built-in tech they have, like AI vision and smart crosshair is great. This monitor will not disappoint, i can't even think of a negative thing to say about it because it has everything I wanted in a monitor.

My fist ultrawide HDR monitor I'm impressed with the contrast with HDR on in every game even older games look stunning, Running at full refresh rate I can't see any ghosting or smearing, the response times are amazing. Great monitor I hope it lasts without any issues.

Pros:
-3440x1440 at 240Hz
-Amazing colors and contrast
-Response time is nearly instantaneous
-OLED Care 2.0 tools help sustain the quality and durability of the screen
Cons:
-The MSRP price (I only got this because of Black Friday sales reducing it by $200)
-plastic glossy back, but a moot point because you won't be focused on the back of the monitor anyway
-This is technically still using the Gen 1 QD-OLED panel (the same as the AW3423DWF) only this has the bump in max Hz of 240
-dreaded VRR flicker, this is common for ultrawides and the workaround is to turn it off
Overall: The ONLY reason I bought this monitor is because of the $200 reduction in price. Originally, it's $899.99 which is competitive but $699.99 sounds a lot more reasonable. The immersion you get from the 21:9 perspective is awesome. So much so that my other OLED monitor (AW3225QF) is not used as much anymore. Definitely worth the purchase. Get it while it's still on sale!

This monitor is excellent. I mainly looked to get this monitor to keep up with competitive FPS titles while maintaining an ultrawide resolution. Compared to the other OLED panel competitors, this one enticed me over the others because of its USB-C PD. I'm able to charge my iPhone 16 Pro relatively quickly. In addition, the OLED panel care and 3 year OLED manufacturer warranty gives me ease of mind, knowing that this monitor will still be good for the next 3 years, so long as I take proper care of it. The HDR on this monitor is excellent as well, as I can utilize HDR400 or HDR1000, depending on the content. I currently keep it solely on HDR1000 and increase the brightness where needed.

Absolutely amazing and best 34-inch ultrawide oled i have dealt with! This model pulls no punches. You can get the full 10-bit 240hz over Display port, HDMI isn't needed for that. The icing on the cake is that you can set NVidias DLDSR keeping the 240hz and 10-bit color...unbelievable!!!
You get HDR400 or HDR1000 with versatility to change the colors, not a set HDR profiles. I had the Gigabyte competitor to this, and it was lacking in all the features I mentioned above and for $300 more.... Just no! If you're looking for a future rich ultrawide this is the model to get. The colors pop and has great brightness with other competitors.

Amazing monitor. I already owned the 341CQP prior, so I already knew what I was in for:
+Amazing accurate color
+Overall great design (clean bezel, fanless design)
+Amazing low input lag and latency (after updating Firmware to .018
+Amazing refresh rate
+Great inputs and definitely nice to have higher USB C PD port wattage over the original CQP for alternative devices I want to plug in for work and keep powered with one less cable to worry about when I need it, such as my Surface Laptop
This monitor, even at MSRP is appropriately priced. $899 is quite a bit of money, don't get me wrong. Thankfully, I got it at close to cost of the regular CQP and am really happy Best Buy honored that! The monitor is amazing for what it offers compared to a huge slew of the competitors. If you're someone who does both a lot of work and gaming, this panel (Samsung) is the one to use, with it's subdued (but still noticeable in a good way) curve as opposed to a ridiculous 800R curve for a 34". If you're going to have that strong a curve, you might as well buy a larger display.
Design (especially if mounted on a wall) is elegant and clean on the front face. People will complain that the cables are harder to hide with this panel and the CQP given how low they are located on the back...but you can literally buy high quality angle adapters or cables with a built in angle to mitigate this. If you're dropping this much on a monitor already, you'd think you'd have the means to go that extra mile for a clean setup if it really does bother you.
All-in-all, I love this monitor. I already knew what to expect use case wise owning a CQP also, but that extra kick in refresh rate, and slightly higher peak brightness than the CQP is nice, especially the even higher refresh rate for playing Apex and League. Likewise, color for this product and the CQP were some of THE BEST in overall accuracy compared to its competitors.

A lot of people are talking about seeing weird partical and issues with brightness, but honestly, I've found out the perfect settings to make sure it's not too dark and feel just right. Honestly, the monitor has great finishes and looks to it and has no issues. Tho the softwear is doo doo so i honestly wouldent recomened MSI Intelligence. Do not use the HDR 1000. Just stay SDR and increase the red, blue, and greed temps to 100. Then enable the nightvision to high. ONLY use User Mode as it's the most calibrated and allows the most config. And common sence not to use adaptive sync if ur on a nividia as it can cause studders or flickers. Make sure not to use sharpening as it creates those "flares." Then, for bightness if you want more, then utilize the sofwear like adrenaline (amd) or control panel (nividia) to get the final result on color, brightness, and saturation levels. Hope that helps, but yes, it's a great monitor for price per pixel!

I've heard the phrase "Once you go OLED there is no going back" and this monitor really delivers on this.
Not only is this monitor OLED but it also rocks 1440p at 240hz. Currently I'm using another MSI monitor that is an LED 1080p at 165hz and the comparison in color side by side is enormous. Playing games on the LED screen just makes everything look grey and dead vs the OLED screen bringing everything on the screen to life.
My biggest concern buying this monitor is the burn in while using it for work. I talked to MSI tech support and they really calmed my nerves with the 3 year burn in warranty, along with multiple features that increase the life of the monitor like Taskbar detection and Multi Logo Detection.
If you are thinking about buying this monitor, I'd suggest pulling the trigger. You will not regret this purchase.

Perfect for work from home and gaming setup. I love this monitor. Would note to others looking at this monitor, it does have a panel protect feature where it does stuff with the pixels after 16 hours of use, it will give you a notice every 4 hours and you can turn that notification off, but at the 16 hour mark it gives you a final notice and will operate the panel protect function no matter what. Takes usually 5-10 minutes, I made it my routine to run it at the end of my work day so it doesn’t bother me at all. Would get this on sale if possible. Overall great

First foray into OLED and UW and I am loving it. Based on reviews this seemed like the right monitor for me. 240hz in comp shooters is incredible. The SDR and HDR modes are both excellent, though HDR takes some setting adjustments in Windows, and games. This isn't a fault of the monitor though. MSI's OSD is easy to use and included software that gives access to the OSD w/o having to use the monitor controls is a nice touch. The MSI Care 2.0 features don't seem to bother me and the text fringing I had read so much about does not bother me either. If you're looking for UW and OLED, this would be my pick again and again.

I wanted to like this monitor, but burn in protection every four hours ruined it for me. It wasn't like I owned the monitor but it owned me. The colors are amazing and the picture is great, but that burn in protection really just is a pita.

The colors on this monitor look amazing but it does a poor job with dark games. I've owned just about every OLED you can buy (including the MAG 341CQP 175hz version of this monitor) and with all of those monitors, if I decided to leave any kind of black equalizer/shadow enhancing settings off, games would be dark but still playable. Trying games like Resident Evil 4 on this monitor was not enjoyable because it felt like I would have to turn the Night Vision setting up to at least the third setting before I could see things and move around comfortably in dark areas, which ruins the purpose of buying OLED and the ambience of horror games. I played around with every setting and I could not make dark games look playable without ruining the blacks or some other details of the games.

The monitor looks magnificent for gaming. I love how it feels more immersive and keeps me more engaged compared to my 27". It delivers beyond expectations. Its weakness is VRR flicker though. The flicker gets very noticeable in intensive (and unoptimized) games where my fps drops significantly.
I chose this over the Alienware AW3423DWF because of it's 240hz panel and because of my previous experiences with MSI monitors.
The only thing that I do not care for is that because it is an oled screen, the edges are more delicate since they are so thin. Other than that, it is a great product that goes past my expectations.

i upgraded from alienware 34 oled with 175hz.
and the upgrade isso worthed. its not just the 240hz but the QD-OLED has a deeper color. and as a gloss screen lover. this monitor is perfect.
I have 4090 paired with 9800x3d and it maximized the frames in any games I have. If you looking for unlocking your high end rig, look no further. The experience is totally worthed from 16:9 gaming. Plus the ability to update firmware is a great extra!
