This card is great and is excellent for 1440p gaming. My only issue is it is sorta loud and needs good cooling. I originally paired it with an I7 7700 and worked great but them ended up building a I9 9900k and its now one of the best gaming cards out there. If you have the choice for gaming I would go with the sister card the MSI gaming x its got a better cooler and is quieter. I ended up trading this card for the gaming x just for the fan noise and I get slightly better fps on the x card. Value for the money this card is fantastic. The fan noise is not that bad. I just wanted better temps hence the trade.

I build an absolutely new computer and I at first do to low researching orders the ti1660 and then realized that just for 100$ more I can have not just a 2070 but a 2070super that made my day the price difference and bump in actual pc stats is night and day! Definitely recommend this card for every one who does not have the money for the higher end ones

Great card thats held up well for 2 years of service. Can run most games at medium-high settings at over 100 fps. Doesnt fair well for 4k but thats not really my forte. Heat sink is also easily removeable in the case that you decide to go for a water block. Ive had no issues out of this card with consistent heavy use, great value for the price.

Did a new build with a very clean interior case with 4 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan. Under load (Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2019) on all high settings (no Ray Tracing) at 1440P I regularly run at 83 degrees with 98% usage and fans at 90%. Also, VRam usage just about maxes out at 7600 mb even though the game settings screen suggests I should only be using 4500 mb?? The good news is, I do get good frames on high settings (between 100-130FPS) and the card is being fully utilized at 97%-99%. The bad news is 83C is on the high side and the fan noise is right up there. If I lower my graphics settings to off or low the temp drops down to 65C. That's almost 20 Cs cooler!! But I didn't build a gaming PC to run on low settings!! Bottom line, this card is working really hard and I hope it keeps running and doesn't crash on me. If it does keep running, then I'm a happy camper, good frames and smooth play.

It runs cool 77°c for me in a low airflow case. You can OC it little bit! However if you do the card does get a nasty coil whine in my experience. But otherwise it's great for the money! If it's on sale get it.

returned a overheating 5700xt riddled with driver issues. Extra money is hands down worth it. This card does run hot from the factory. Use EVGA X1 with a aggressive fan curve and itll run like butter. Thank me later

I bought this to have more power to run games in 4K on my Samsung UR55 Series 28" IPS 4K UHD Monitor. I can run most games in 4K on ultra settings at 60FPS with no problem. Forza Horizon 4 generally runs at 60FP, but I can see a slight drop in frame rate if I forgot to turn the GPU fans to 100% before playing. Have not needed to overclock the card yet which should extend it's longevity. I do recommend having a case with plenty of ventilation that will help keep your temperatures down.

Card installed with no problems. Easily downloaded drivers from website and updated with no issues. Able to run IRacing in VR with all setting maxed. Only note - make sure you have a power supply capable of video card. Had to upgrade my supply also.

I'm fairly new to building my own gaming pc and knowing what purpose each part serves but just know this card is amazing. GTAV and Fortnite look amazing w/ the max settings applied. Geforce has done a great job w/ this particular model. Definitely purchasing this brand again.

Currently running an ryzen 7 3600x with this and honestly was expecting more from this. I get frame drops that aren’t drastic but on games like Rainbow six siege on medium graphics I go from 280 frames to 90 frames. Temps are fine and I have 32 gbs of ram. Honestly expecting better results

Aesthetically its not lit up like a Christmas tree but I'm sure that's what helps keep the price a little better and the performance meets and exceeds my needs. I exchanged my 5700 XT for this and I am so happy I did. I can run all my games at 1440 with no visual issues like the 5700XT. Yes, it was about $120 more than the 5700XT but again, worth every penny. I bought this for my son's computer and I run a RTX 2080 and I'm not sure that I can say I see much, if any difference, in the visual performance of the games. Temps seem to run fine and I have paired this in a Ryzen 5 build. Very happy with the performance.

    Solid GPU for 1440p gaming

As others have mentioned, this card is solid for 1440p gaming. I'm running pretty much every game at 100+ frames on high or ultra high settings. 1440p titles - BFV - 100+ Frames with HDR Cod MW - 100+ Frames with max settings GTA V - 100+ Frames with max settings Hell Let Loose - 90+ Frames with max settings ME Andromeda- 80+ Frames with max settings AC Odyssey- 80 Frames with max settings Ark Survival - 80+ Frames with max settings Fortnite - 165 Frames(maximum for my monitor) on epic settings. This card is a beast. And while you can get similar frames with the cheaper 5700xt, I had nothing but issues with AMDs software. Pros - Easy to install Excellent 1440p performance Future proof for a few years of gaming to come Nvidia software is clean, simple and works near flawlessly from the get go. Neutral - Although loud in a sense, it's nothing to worry about. I game with my headset and it's not noticable. Cons - Runs warmer than I'd like. Hits 70 to 73 Celcius with even the fans running at or near max(usually 90%) All in all, this card is superb. But even with a well vented case, it runs warmer than I'd like. But it's okay. Specs - Z390e Mobo Intel i5 9600k @ 5ghz 1.38v MSI 2070 Super 32 GB DDR4 2666mhz ram NZXT h510i case Well worth the money if you can afford it.

Before this, I had bought an AMD Radeon 5700XT thinking I'd be able to save $125 and get the same performance. Kinda true - framerates were close to this. Except for the awful (as up to date as possible) drivers. You'd play a game, black screen of death. You'd alt tab, black screen of death. You'd click on a web page, black screen of death. Here - it works flawlessly. You don't even have to manually download the Nvidia drivers - they're automatically installed on Windows 10. All games on ultra, 75fps+ at 2560x1080. Witcher 3 runs at around 85-90fps with everything turned up to max. (Except for Red Dead Redemption 2, but it'll run on very high at 75fps+.) Cooling system is pretty good. Does get slightly noisy in games that are highly demanding, but it's fine with headphones. Is it better than the 5700XT? Absolutely. That extra $125 means I'm spending time playing video games instead of having my computer crash every day. Is it worth $500? Well, for me it was, but I do alright for myself. If you're buying something for your kid, or if you're on a tighter budget, get something like a 2060 or 2060 Super.

No this is a proper video card right here and it has smooth operations 4K gaming with ray tracing purely flawless. Absolutely no lag. And it's not a very big video card. Mind does not run hot. I'm running the new modern warfare with everything maxed out in 4K with ray tracing on in my frame rates are very high. I have not messed with the over clocking yet but don't feel the need to as this is a powerhouse. You won't be disappointed with this period but the 5700 XT and that was dead. So Best Buy gave me this card an amazing card

I have been running this new card for a week, and I have yet to really reach it's limit. I was running a GTX 1070, and was not able to run 4k games at max settings. Replaced it with this beast, and COD WW2 runs at 4k with everything at max. Also runs old games like GRAW at high resolution with no problems. Installation of the new card was seamless. My only complaint is it is very plain. Not even the MSI logo lights up. But if you are looking for power and not looks,,, it is an excellent choice.

Upgraded to this from a 1060 6GB and the performance gains were as expected. I play all games now in 1440p @ around 95- 105fps with mostly high-ultra settings. Only regret is not getting the triple fan. I feel like it would run a bit cooler in 1440p. This gpu puts out a lot of heat so something to keep in mind.. Once swapping to 1080 it runs a lot cooler but I like 1440p so whatever!

After returning the 5700xt. I bought this instead. Very easy to install and get going. Nvidia control panel very straight forward, easy to use. I was able to create my own custom resolution for my projector 4:3 screen. I was able to get 60mhz refresh rate at UHD. Smooth graphics. Definitely recommend this card for anyone with a projector.

Picked this card up a few weeks back. So far it has held up well. Temps have been stable, hitting around 65c at full load. But I also run it with fans maxed out to 100 percent. They are not as loud as people have claimed, as both fans combined are still more quiet then the slot fan blower on my GTX 1080 when it is maxed to 100 percent. 4K gaming is completely possible with this card at a constant 60fps. You may have to knock down some anti aliasing settings to do it, but at 4k you wont really notice much at all. So far I have tried Dawn of War 3, F1 2019, Strange Brigade, Batman Arkham Knight, Witcher 3 and Far Cry 5 at 4k. Everything stayed in the 50+fps realm. Also, the card can handle Division 2 at Ultra on 1440P and stay at 60fps with no issue. Same with BF V at 1440P ultra with medium Ray Tracing turned on. All in all, great card and well worth the asking price.
