no idea why people are rating the pricing or availability as opposed to rating the card in here but here i go. first off this thing is GIGANTIC. was not an issue in my case as i have a full tower. If you dont have a full tower i suggest taking many measurements to ensure fitment. Also this uses 3x 8 pin PCIE connectors which was not an issue in my case. Card does not run hot idle or while gaming but i can notice a difference in heat between this and my last card which was a 1080 ti. I get about double the FPS in 1080p ultra compared to the 1080 ti. for example i would get around 50 - 60 fps on ultra in 1080p Cyberpunk. with this card on the same settings i get about 95 - 105 fps. Im an enthusiast gamer with an interest in possibly streaming in the future and the 3080 ti seems perfect for that using the newer NVENC codec. since it has the new HDMI version its able to output 4k 120hz if your monitor also has that version. overall after waiting more than a year for a card im very satisfied with the purchase. It runs games like butter and isnt very loud. if youre an enthuiast that can afford the current pricing i would suggest this card.

Amazing Graphics Card

I had the card shipped to store (Everett Mall), and the card was extremely delayed. Purchased on June 24th and didn't get to pick up the card until July 6th. I would like to subtract 2 stars for this experience, but this review is about the card, not the delivery.
Amazing graphics card but definitely a steeper price tag. You will definitely feel a performance difference upgrading from any of the previous model. The quality of the card is definitely on a different level. The construction is top tier and feels extremely durable. No wiggly parts and everything is fixed in place. The design is elegant and fits any build (white or black build). For the price tag, it could use a little more RGB on the front face plate where the fans are. 3 small strips for a $1,800 price tag seems a bit skimpy.
The value of this card is a bit on the expensive side. With that being said, it is a premium card with high end construction. I've had friends won the lotto for other cards and the construction of this card is definitely a league above the other.
The software is decent. The RGB control could use a ton more work but the control for the fan and performance is a great tool.
This card is very user friendly. Easy to install, easy to download the software and easy to control with single clicks.

Not a value but a very capable card.

Pricing aside, this is a very capable and nice looking card. MSI ships these with a (much needed) GPU brace to help keep this monster upright in your case. Just make sure you double check the measurements of this card and your case before you buy, I have it in a LianCool II and it just barely fits with a front mount Kraken x63. Like an inch of spare room. If you're looking for the best value out there, look elsewhere. If you're looking for max performance this is a contender.

Very happy with my purchase. The price was something I couldn’t resist granted 6 months ago you couldn’t find one for MSRP. I upgraded from a RTX 3060 and I don’t regret it one bit

An absolute beast of a gpu. Boosts naturally over 2000mhz. Toned it down for a SFF build. It runs pretty cool. Lighting looks good. Memory doesn't get as hot as the 3090FE. Even boosting the fans, it stays nice and quiet. Expensive. Just barely gits in a NR200 case.

It's also too freakin' big and requires too much power. My clean looking desktop turned messy when I discovered this needed 3, 8-pin connectors for power. Had to pull out the stock non braided cables to power this thing.
I only had it for a day, but during this day, with ambient indoor temps of 77 F and today being in the mid 80s outside. I was able to run a 4 hour stress test with moderate overclocking and get GREAT temps.
The stupid brace or bracket that holds the car up takes up like 3-4 PCI slots, but if you're not using one directly below the double card and have the plates in there, it won't be able to screw down. So that sucks for aesthetics.
As for TimeSpy, I'm getting low 19000s with the overclock and stock I was getting in the 18000s. Which seems kind of low considering the 6800 XT gets 17000s.
Had I had a choice, I wouldn't have bought this card. I mean for the price, I'd expect more but considering my desperation and stuff, I am happy with it.

This is a great card! A bit pricy but it is great! I use it to play AAA games at 4k max settings and it does not disappoint. MSI Center must be downloaded to use Mystic Light to control the RGB. Pretty easy to install and use. Very user friendly. Temps are great! It is a hot boy, but if you have a great PC case with good airflow, you will be fine! Max temp I have seen under full load 4k gaming is 77c with ONLY the fans at 50%. Quiet and great! I am sure if I increase my case fans from 45% to 70% and gpu fans from 50% to 100% the temps will be in the 60s. 77c is great though for a quiet system! I am impressed! Overall, installing the GPU Support Bracket, please install it while the PC is laying on its back (the back side of case facing down, with front side of case facing up towards you). Otherwise it will be near impossible to install the bracket with the PCIE slots. Great!

While the price is still high, Best Buy is still one of the best places to buy when compared to other stores for the same product
The performance is amazing. I play flight simulators is VR using a Samsung G2. The graphics in VR are great with this card. There will be tweaking needed if you’re into watching your frame rates.
I had a GTX 1080 and this card gets considerably warmer. Also be aware that you may need to upgrade your power supply. That is almost a requirement if you’re using this card with other peripherals like vr goggles and flight controllers

Impressive? Not worth the money at all. I think I paid $1700 for it? Got it at a bestbuy in philly. Was just on the shelf. Was caught up in the hype. I went from 1080Ti to RTX 3070 (newegg shuffle winner) to RTX3080Ti.
I'm on an i9-9900k overclocked with 32gb of RAM. I can definitely play everything on full graphics at 1440p. But I'm on an LG C9 TV and wanted to push 4k. I can play pretty much everything in 4k 100-120fps, but I have to turn the graphics down. I have snowrunner on Medium I think. Looks great though. I play VR games, it works. I'm supersampling 200% on most VR games and holds 120fps.
I use Blender and Unity, it works pretty well for those. Bake times using the Bakery script are pretty good compared to 1080ti. Blender I haven't pushed the boundaries yet. I do run in 4k, I'm not sure how blender and Unity react to that. I just assumed they are rendering at that resolution also. Haven't had any hiccups or issues yet.
Oh, I had to buy a bigger case cause it didn't fit in the Meshify C lol. It "fit" but I had to remove the front fans. Fits really nice in the Meshify 2.

Amazing product. Priced a little high, something outside of Best Buy's control with current chip shortage and trump's overseas tariff making a big impact.
I upgraded from a 2080 super to this. I am rendering 4k videos almost 3-4 times a day so this makes a huge impact on my workflow. I'm already seeing 5-10 minutes saved on most of my renders.
Also for the occasional games I do play, I am seeing an uptick in my FPS. I have not tried any 4k titles yet, but 1440p is a piece of cake with this.

a good upgrade from a 2080 super. Am able to play many games with 4k graphics. Stays at least 10 degrees cooler not sure if it's cause of the 3 fan design vs the 2 fans on the 2080 super. Glad i upgraded especially after the prices went down. But now i see the 3090ti for $1300 guess i should have waited a little to get a better card but cant seem to ever win in the pc game.

So far loving this card, power and performance go hand in hand.
seems to stay cool even under the highest demands put to it.
I would recommend it to anyone that can get their hand on one.
I'm hoping to get my hands on a 3090 in the future.
I use and build flight simulators, Update computers and gaming. NVIDIA never disappoints.

Really expensive card. I was debating between this and the 3080 TI FTW3, but I kept this card instead. The temps are cool enough and fan speed are quite quiet for stock fans. Price wise, I think if you can get your hands on a 3090, then get that instead.

Pros: runs games great, comes with anti-sag bracket, cool looking LED's
Cons: A little overpriced, bought this due to the small window of opportunity to decide. Not sure this warrants the $400+ over other manufacturer the FE's.

Awesome video card. Runs 4k 60+ fps and 1440p 144+ fps. It is heavy and came with a braces to install in the case. It’s HUGE so make sure it fits in your case.
