My only critique regarding this board lies in its packaging. However, the board itself impresses me with its remarkable silence, allowing for manual fan curve customization to address temperature concerns effectively. With the manual fan curve in place, my Cyber2077 gaming sessions now maintain a cooler temperature of around 60°C, never exceeding 80% fan speed. Initially, I thought I heard some coil whine, but after two months of regular use, I can confidently say that this card has been entirely free of any whining issues. The current price of $739 for this card is astonishingly affordable, making it an absolute no-brainer, especially considering its previous cost at $1799. The build quality aligns with that of the founders edition card, which originally sold for $900, now down to $1200, yet this card performs even better and offers superior cooling.
Underclocking the card has yielded stable results with occasional performance boosts. However, after conducting various benchmarks using different clock and voltage settings, I found that stock settings with an increased fan curve delivered the best results. This observation leads me to commend MSI for an excellent out-of-the-box optimization. If you prefer a hassle-free setup, just plug in the card, and it will be already optimized for maximum performance, ensuring a safe and satisfying experience.
A word of caution: beware of the PNY 3080 Ti available for sale, as it intentionally omits pictures of the backside, lacking the proper capacitors on the GPU's rear, leading to stability issues and not meeting Nvidia's capacitor layout standard for this series. On the bright side, one of the standout features of this card is the absence of LED lights, giving it a sleek and professional appearance.
Over the past two months, I have thoroughly benchmarked my GPU on UserBenchmark, with consistently above-average performance, ranking in the 56-67th percentile. This means that out of 100 similar cards, it outperforms more than half of them. Considering it's the most affordable 3080 Ti available, surpassing the performance of many others on the market, and backed by a 3-year warranty, it unquestionably represents the best deal on a 3080 Ti in the retail environment since its launch.
While new cards are on the horizon, specific specifications are still unconfirmed, and they will coexist with the current cards in the market, making the situation intriguing and uncertain regarding future prices.

I previously had a Gigabyte 3080 12Gb and although nothing was wrong it, this 3080ti was at a good price point plus a main-in-rebar and another other rewards one could stack. I have no complaints on as it works as expected. No RGB is fine and it even brings a kickstand of sorts in case the card sags. Mine didn’t, but still included it since it wasn’t really going to block anything. Overall I am able to play all the games I use at max graphic settings on a 1440p monitor.

Got this one on sale and it is a beast. Fan does get loud when it gets intense so adequate cooling is a must. Overall very good performance for 4K 60fps on most games!!!

I was fortunate enough to luck out and snap one of these up, and it was worth the wait to finally get my hands on one!! The good news is that they’re starting to show up, the bad news is that they’re still hard to come by, but getting better. Im not making a huge jump in cards, im going from a 2080 super to this 3080 ti, but its still a big improvement. My old card is also an MSI ventus series, so quality is a none issue. Bang for buck, in the current market, its definitely there but still on the high side. If you have a 2080 or less, worth it. If you have a 2080 ti, hold on to your cash until the market comes around.

Wanted a 30 series GPU with 4K 60fps capabilities and this is it, in any game but CyberPunk2077 max settings anyway (Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty MWII, Halo Infinite, Doom Eternal, etc). Runs relatively quiet, max temp under load has been roughly 90C. Very happy with the purchase; able to order from Best Buy for $739 in September 2022.

My only complaint with this board is the packaging. The board itself is super quiet, and can be set with a manual fan curve that will reduce temperature concerns. Without the fan curve, I would receive around 71 C in Cyber2077, but now sit at 60c and never go over 80% fan speed. The first couple days, I thought I heard coil whine but after 2 months of daily use, have had no whining about this card. Except the price, it is insanely cheap right now at 739. This card is a no brainer at that price, as the price felt right at $1000. The build quality matches the founders edition card going at 900 down from 1200, and is a better cooled card. The card runs solid underclocked, with sometimes performance boosts, though I got the best results on benchmarks at stock settings, and I tried lots of different clock and voltage settings, but the benchmarks all proved stock settings with an increased fan curve was the best option. This leads me to believe that MSI did a great job optimizing the card out of the box. If you are the type of person that wants to just plug it in, have it already at max perfomance and go, feel safe with this card. Beware of the PNY 3080 ti for sale here and elsewhere, as it intentionally shows no pictures of backside because it lacks the proper capacitators on back of the GPU, leading to stability issues, and not meeting NVidias capacitator layout standard for this series. The best part about this card.... NO LED LIGHTS. Very professional looking card. I have benchmarked my GPU on UserBenchmark over 20 times in the last 2 months, and it performed above average each time, landing in the 56-67th percentile, meaning out of 100 similar cards, it performed better, so being literally the cheapest 3080 ti available, performing better than half of the others on the market, with a 3 year warranty, it is literally the best deal on a 3080 ti in retail environment since the product launch. Yes, new cards are around the corner, but specs are still not confirmed, they will be on new architecture, and will run alongside the current cards in the market, so things are going to get real interesting and there is no telling what prices will look like soon.

Figured I would wait a few months before writing a review on this product. I was able to snag this for just over $700 right before the 4000 series first launched. I do like MSI, but haven't really owned many of their GPU's. I was pleasantly surprised. My monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G9. Absolutely beautiful, awesome frame rates without any issues, and high/highest settings on Diablo 4. Been really impressed with it, especially at the time and price point I was able to snag it at. Would definitely recommend the card if anyone was thinking about getting one. But with the RTX4070ti out now, probably better to snag one of them due to the price/performance scale.

Bought this card as an upgrade over my trusty 1080 Ti. At the current price of $740 and a free copy of Marvel's Spiderman Remastered, this was a compelling purchase after seeing how much the upcoming 40 series will cost. (The game code is sent by email, and redeemed through GeForce Experience which adds the game to Steam)
Gaming performance on this 3080 Ti is great at 4K, and crazy fast at lower resolutions. Productivity from CUDA and AI applications is also fantastic as I'm seeing a 5x speed improvement from stuff running on PyTorch compared to 1080 Ti.
Thermals and power draw are decent, but can improved by undervolting or capping the power limit through MSI Afterburner. The idle power draw I'm seeing at 4K/60hz on the card is 27 watts, and sudden spikes to 110 watts can be seen when opening various apps. I'm hoping it could be fixed. Fan noise is not an issue and they'll automatically stop spinning when the GPU temp is below 60 C.
Visually, the neutral aesthetic and lack of RGB are a plus in my book. Installing the card was quick and easy, and while it includes an anti-sag bracket, it's not totally mandatory.

A decent upgrade from older cards if you can find this MSI card at sale prices that others mentioned in reviews. It can run not too hot and be quiet when undervolted (by MSI software). Overall happy to have this card. Not too power-hungry and uses two 8-pin power connectors, so was an easy swap from 1080SLI to this. After enabling Resizable Bar, got a tiny bit more performance.

Upgraded from a 1080Ti and man it's a completely different world!
Not much to say except that it runs everything I could want on 1440p without an issue, running anywhere from 140-240 frames on every game I play.
Was great for VR when I had the Quest 2, however now that I have upgraded to the Quest 3 - it's a little lacking in heavily populated areas, so I am upgrading to a 4090 for that reason alone.
If you don't play VR intensely, and only 1440p game, I don't see why you'd need another card.
Can run a little hot sometimes, I've seen 80 degrees, but ultimately that is not an issue at all.

Grab this graphics card when it was on sale. Using to display games on an LG OLED 4k 120hrz TV. I have been able to max out all modern games with Ray Tracing. (Except Cyber punk) If it is on a great sale and you have a 10 series it is worth the buy.

I bought this graphics card to upgrade from an RX 480. This card continues to perform amazingly. My only problem now is that I need a better CPU to keep up with it. I should also note that I bought this during the shortage so the price was much higher than it is now.

Gpu is great. Been using it for about 1 year now, and it still only has to go 65-70% fan speed at the worst of times (barring cyberpunk at max settings). Would definitely recommend the card
