Solid Mid-Range GPU for 1080p Gaming

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB is a great choice for gamers looking for solid performance in a mid-range GPU. I’ve been using it primarily for 1080p gaming, and it handles most modern titles at high settings with ease. The addition of DLSS 3.0 is a game-changer, offering smoother frame rates without compromising visual quality.
The compact design is a bonus for smaller builds, and it runs relatively cool and quiet even under heavy load. Ray tracing performance is decent at this price point, though it’s best for games optimized for the feature.
If you’re looking for a card that balances price and performance, the RTX 4060 delivers excellent value. However, if you’re aiming for higher resolutions or future-proofing for years to come, you might want to consider stepping up to a 4070 or higher.
Would definitely recommend it for casual to semi-serious gamers!

Simply put, this is a great card for the price. You'll get the latest Nvidia tech with frame generation, which can really make a difference in performance. My only minor gripe, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars, is that it is a bit louder than I would have liked. I replaced a 3060 with this and it is noticeably louder when playing the same games. You really can't go wrong though with this as it will let you comfortably play all the latest games with high settings for an unbeatable price. Great value card.

I’m very happy with my purchase of the NVIDIA RTX 4060. It’s quiet, efficient, and performs great in games. I can play titles like Call of Duty, Cyberpunk 2077, and Fortnite on high or ultra settings with no FPS drops. The low power consumption is a big plus it runs perfectly with my 500W power supply.
I was especially impressed by DLSS 3. It gives a noticeable boost in performance without sacrificing visual quality. Installation was easy, and the card stays cool even after long gaming sessions.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a modern, powerful GPU without breaking the bank. A perfect choice for serious gamers who play in 1080p!

Its not the most powerful GPU but it is a very well entry GPU. You’ll need to tweak a few stuff but depending on what you’re playing. Runs Witcher 3, the Arkham games, and alot of older open world games really good. Marvel Rivals play really great too at 1440p. Power consumption is amazing on it. Im running a low end cpu and PSU is 500w and all my games run really smooth. If you’re looking for amzing 4k graphics at high refresh rates definitely gonna need to spend more money on a better GPU. I didnt really expect alot from this GPU but it’s actually really surprising how much it can do. The Vram is low but i don’t notice anything major when gaming. If you’re looking for issues im sure you’ll find them but when you’re casually gaming you’re good. Got it for $300 most don’t like the price but it is what it is when you’re getting into gaming.

Upgrading from an RTX 3060

I purchased this after my RTX 3060 died and so far its been amazing. Although it does lack RGB capabilities, this doesnt bother me since I've never been a big fan of it. It also does run quieter and cooler than my old 3060 even when running games in max settings and has allowed me to take full advantage of my MSI monitor.

Upgraded from 4GB GTX 1650. Not much improvement but there's noticeable improvement in game appearance and less lag. No other Nvidia was in stock, wanted 16GB card.

Hi bro you missed for a few months so far. No problems whatsoever. Works well and a little loud when playing games but otherwise it turns itself down and makes itself lower when not eating graphics power which I love. Very happy with purchase and would buy again

Excellent value and great graphics card. I'm using it for gaming (it runs Oblivion Remastered beautifully) and for AI image design (ComfyUI) for 1080p graphics output.
