Finally found it! Got this monitor on sale to add to my existing 27" 1440p 165hz monitor. Monitor was well packaged and easy to assemble. I had this monitor installed on a vertical vesa mount. Then on a horizontal vesa mount. Then finally on it's own stand, look at my review pics for proof (Keeping it on it's own stand on-top of a adjustable monitor stand). I can say that I did not experience any wobbly or weird issues regarding this monitor mounted on two vesas mounts and it's own stand. Color appears to be good out of the box. Not really concerned about the HDR or color accuracy since this is my 2nd monitor. During the work day this normally has Teams, Spotify and work research open on it most of the time during the work day all at the same time. During game time it normally just has Steam, HWinfo, Spotify and Discord on display all at the same time ( I game on my main monitor). I really like the curved screen since it allows me to sit the monitor to the left of my main screen and I don't have to shift my head to view the whole monitor. I can either shift my peepers, or slightly turn my head, which is what I wanted from the start. With a dual 27" setup. I would say this monitor is worth the purchase (especially when it's on sale)

This review will discuss the MAG27CQ gaming monitor from MSI. I am a huge fan of this monitor as I have three of these in my system. The matte black finish with the LED lighting makes it stand out as a beautiful monitor. The curve works perfect when up against the first monitor in my setup. MSI added the feature of allowing the stand to adjust up and down as well as turning which allows you to find the best setup for your use. It had a Display Port that I use as well as an HDMI if needed. The colors and response time are great for every game and application that I have used. However, it did require some fine tuning when I first setup. This is to be expected on any display type of device you purchase. Overall, I found this monitor to be incredible for my setup. I am currently using this setup as follows: MSI MPG Z390 Pro Carbon Gaming Motherboard Intel I5-9600k (OC to 4.4Ghz) 32 GB DDR4 Ram 240GB SSD with (2) 2GB SATA Hard Drives Corsair H100i Pro Water Cooling EVGA RTX 3070 6 Corsair RGB LL120 Fans Corsair 500D Case MSI Keyboard and Mouse Corsair VOID RGB Wireless Gaming Headset MSI MAG27CQ (x2) and MSI MAG27C Monitors PROS: Visual fidelity and color quality are amazing from my perspective. Ghosting - not bad Response time – 1s response time which is perfect. Adjustable stand which allows for the correct height. Blacks and black shades, very good as expected on VA. At $329 is a great price for the quality of the gaming monitor. Mediocre: Black uniformity/viewing angles/VA glow Kind of sparse OSD but does the job Cons: Wish the backlight was RGB to match desktop components. At lower fps, backlight flickering is present. Mostly noticeable when the image is static. Brightness could be better but in moderate room lighting it is bright enough. Would still recommend if it fits your price point.

This monitor is amazing. Upgrading from 1080p to 1440p is night, and day. Its capable of 120 Hz with HDMI, and 144Hz with DP. Everything is ultra smooth, contrast is awesome, the color accuracy is great. The curve of the monitor is subtle, but really does give you a great level of immersion especially if you're coming from a flat screen. The menu options are easy to find, and use. For the price you really can't beat it.

I am happy with the monitor for my needs. I purchase one of these monitors a couple of years ago and have been completely happy and satisfied with it. I recently purchased two more of these monitors off of Best Buy Online. The purchasing, shipping and receipt of shipment was all fantastic. Upon turning on the two new monitors I found one of them to had a stuck pixel, no problem Best Buy was great with the return. I then re ordered another of the same monitors and this time it was perfect. I am in no way disappointed with Best Buy or MSI, these things happen and it was handled as it should of been. I would however like to point out that if you plan to do a 3 monitor set up it would be advantageous for you to purchase all three at the same time. I have noticed that the two new monitors are the same in color, contrast, brightness and clarity however my oldest of the three is a bit different. I do not think this is a product defect but most likely due to the age and 24/7 on cycle leaving it with a slightly dimmer hue or appearance, but I don't know I am certainly no expert, but again I am completely satisfied for my needs. My needs are mostly web searches, streaming shows, games and flight sim. The only cons I have for the monitor is the stand can be a bit wobbly if not on a solid surface or solid wood desk and the monitor tends to make snap crackle pop noises when expanding and contracting from heat, this goes away once it's warmed up.

Good screen like most MSI models. Nothing that will stand out, the colors are a little washed even after calibration, but it does the job, and looks good enough for most things you might do with it. Good refresh rate and response time.

Got this monitor on sale for $299 and its really a steal! Fast refresh rate and stunning picture for gaming! Definitely recommend it!

Great monitor for gaming, the display port slot is a great thing to have for the graphics. The 2560x1440 resolution really pops. While i would recommend it, I would hold out for a sale. $329 is a bit of a stretch for me, but that's my personal opinion. If you've got a decent graphics card to utilize the full resolution (2560x1440), its worth every penny. The curved screen is an added bonus.

Great price for the monitor however it has some flaws. There is a gamma bug that does not save which gamma setting you’re on. May be just mine but just a warning. This monitor also does not work with gsync.

I love the monitor for all the time I used it but it had died out after awhile and I have no idea what’s wrong with it.

To keep it simple it’s a great starter 1440p monitor looks great and have had little issues. No issues with black light or ghosting so far. My main issue is that the backing makes it difficult to use any other mounting system it’s just too small. I had some issues with the screen being blurry in the beginning which was annoying but it’s fixable. Overall good buy especially if on sale

This gaming monitor is a great option for gamers who are looking for all-around performance. The 1440p 144hz screen is perfect when combined with a curve that is noticeable but not too ‘in your face’. The size is great because it is immersive while still being competitive, as I have never had to turn my head. The backlighting looks great and provides a subtle glow even when not viewed head-on. The colours are spot on and make gaming a blast, with crisp detail and an immersive feel, and all visuals will be very smooth. he 144hz refresh rate feels OH SO SMOOTH. Coming from a 60hz monitor to this is night and day. No complaints. 10/10I definitely recommend this item.

i bought my first msi monitor a couple months ago and it was the best decision ive made spending my money. I enjoyed using this monitor for gaming and streaming purposes that i went to go purchase another during the black friday sales and once again, did not disapoint.

If you’re having second thoughts about getting this, do it! Incredible picture quality for a fraction of the cost. Works perfect paired with my Ryzen 7 5800x and 3070 Ti FE. Forza Horizon 5 on Extreme settings is breath taking. Call of Duty Vanguard is also beautiful. This really surprised me for a VA panel. I was skeptical about this because if price but managed to get it on sale for $269.99. SO worth it for that steal of a price.

real good 1440p monitor the knife is extreme crisp and I like the led lights on the back. The stand is sturdy and highly adjustable.

Honestly its not going to be the best monitor you’ll buy but I’ll do the work for the price. The only thing missing that will make it great its HDR.

using as a second moniter to extend the ultrawide I have, honestly between the two screens I have never been so happy with a setup in my life. This alone is a great screen, very crisp and fresh looking, thin bezzels. For the price you can not beat it.

One of the best 1440p curved monitors on the market for gaming. Budget friendly on the wallet but feels like you get so much more. Highly recommend for any gamers !

You can’t go wrong with this product. Very nice and smooth looking. The performance is excellent. I paired my Msi monitor with Ibuypower cpu.
