I’ve Used it for about a month so far, pretty great monitor, no dead pixels or anything like that out of the box. for an almost 32” 144hz 1440p monitor at this price point, it’s everything you could want. it’s not overclockable which would be cool and so would to ability to swivel The monitor, but not expected at this price, but even without those I’m very happy with it! I’m still Considering purchasing a second one to make a nearly 64” Curved Super Ultra wide monitor set up with a 16:9 aspect ratio

I returned the Samsung C32HG70 because of disconnection issues with Nvidia software. I have no issues with this MSI monitor. I'm so happy now that I bought a 2nd one and I'm running dual 32". I'm using displayport cables. No dead pixels. Menu is fairly easy to navigate. You do need to attach the USB cables in order to use the Gaming OSD software. That software does make it easy to adjust the monitor. The bezel is small (much smaller than the Samsung).
32" at 2560x1440 is the new gaming norm. The best part is reading glasses are no longer required.

This monitor is the best 2k(QHD), non-ultrawide, 144hz refresh rate Freesync, experience a gamer could have. The only exception being the stand is not as maneuverable as some other gaming monitors. That con aside this thing does not disappoint. The OSD(onscreen-display) has so many options including a PiP(picture in picture) mode as well as a PbP(picture by picture) mode allowing for multiple video inputs being displayed on this monitor at the same exact time. (2 sources can be displayed at once). Overall the experience I’ve had the past 12 months during this covid year gaming and doing work on this monitor has been a most enjoyable time for me and all my family who I let use it ;-)
P.S. in order to use this monitor in portrait display mode you will need to buy a compatible Aftermarket stand. The default stand does not have anything more then a slight pan and tilt feature. Enough for more who use this as intended. :)

This monitor is great! I just ordered a gaming PC and wanted a gaming monitor that could handle the full potential of it. This MSI gaming monitor didn't disappoint and I really like the curved aspect. I feel with curved monitors you immerse yourself better in games or anything you watch or due on a computer. I would highly recommend this monitor to a friend or family looking into gaming monitors!

If you buy this monitor be sure and get the warranty from Bestbuy. Not only did this monitor crap out on me after only 2 months but the replacement MSI sent was a refurbished one with bad pixels and scratches all over. I will never buy a MSI monitor again.

there really isn't a lot of monitors that check all the boxes i was looking for (over 27", 144hz, 1440p, curved screen, etc), Samsung and ben q have similar models, but at a higher price and more mixed reviews, so i decided on this. going from 60hz to 144hz was quite the experience and i haven't looked back since. the colors are great. some slight ghosting on darker colors when scrolling or moving the camera in a game, but thats typical with a VA panel. (worth noting i couldn't find a IPS with similar specs at all or a similar model at the same price point) but overall im satiated with this product and it has brought a fresh air to my gaming experience.

Quick hits:
Gorgeous monitor
Amazingly deep colors
Excellent contrast
Very bright
Cons:
Needs setup out of the box. Initial picture is washed out and FreeSync is not turned on. Can only turn on FreeSync through the monitor's joystick-based OSD. MSI's downloadable software can do everything else except this.
Settings:
The best results I've seen are using the following settings in the MSI Gaming OSD 2.0 software:
Brightness: 90
Contrast: 70
Sharpness: 0
Black Tuner: 9
Color Temp: Normal
Response time: Normal, Zero Latency
Image enhancement: off
The monitor sits about 12 inches from the wall, so the LED on the back is fairly pointless, though if you mount it to a wall or have it closer, it may add some nice reflective coloring.

For the price point, this monitor really has no competition. I was a little suspicious at first as the deal seemed too good to be true and once it arrived and I got it all set up, I could not help but look at it and smile. I spent a couple of minutes just looking at my desktop icons moved and in a much higher definition since I was coming from a 24" 1080p monitor.
I absolutely love the large size of the Optix MAG-1CQR and the curved 2K resolution that accompanies it, it really makes gaming much more immersive. After scouring Newegg, Amazon, and Best Buy among other online retailers, I decided that this monitor gave me the best deal for the money at a competitive price. It's exceptional for everyday use or gaming — definitely performs above expectations for the most part. My whole experience just got bumped to a whole new level. Feels very futuristic, I can't get enough of it!
Pros: 31.5", 2k, 144 Hz, curved, great color array, reputable brand, good price
Cons: The screen briefly goes black occasionally, I had to do a little research and use Customer Resolution Utility to adjust the FPS to make the monitor G-Sync compatible.
I followed the instructions from "MAG321CQR G-Sync Fix"
by LOD Tech to get G-Sync compatibility: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAiQBMqHIYg&t=149s

When I saw this monitor I knew I had to get it. I would have to say though this monitor is on the bigger side and BARELY fits on my desk (small desk problem :(.
This monitor is 144Hz 1440p and my RTX 2080 is able to pump out enough frames to take advantage of this monitor.
This is a VA panel monitor so the colors are better than my previous BenQ TN panel 144Hz monitor. Viewing angles are good as well. I was impressed while inspecting the monitor.
Where this will truly shine is when you're playing an FPS game like Battlefield V or Apex Legends. The detail you see from a 1440p monitor is pretty impressive. A good step up from 1080p.
The RGB gives a nice glow that bounces off my white wall behind the monitor. It's a little splash of lights and not that obnoxious to the point where this will distract you. If you want RPG thrown in your face this isn't for you. I think there is another monitor with RGB in your face.
Overall this monitor looks good and is amazing to game on. 32" might be a little too much for some, but for me I think it works just fine. 1440p resolution means DPI isn't a big issue with this monitor.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a 1440p 144Hz monitor.

I recently upgraded to this monitor from an older Asus monitor that was 27", 60 htz and 1080p. This monitor blows that monitor away especially comparing features not too it is 144 htz. Also got it for a nice price on sale due all the online sales going on in mid July. So far this monitor has looked and been amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great monitor!

I have had this monitor for about two weeks now and coming from a 75-hertz monitor, the difference is amazing!
I was a bit skeptical of the curve, it's alright. It offers a bit more of that wrap-around immersion but nothing to write home about. I can see some people disliking it.
The Stand offers Height adjustment, it's a well-built stand in my opinion.
The VA panel has pretty decent colors (I am just a casual gamer)
Now for the knacks,
The back of the monitor has this cheap-looking plastic panel, not a big deal just looks cheap.
The LED on the back is very dim, so don't expect much in or anything at all in terms of ambient lighting.
I notice minor backlight bleed, mainly in the corners of the screen, in dark scenes (mainly loading screens for games), it's not a big deal to me but it can to others.

This is my first "expensive" monitor and I have gotta say, I am thrilled with this purchase. The image is bright and crisp and FreeSync is an absolute game-changer, no pun intended. No more screen tearing! I also really appreciate the curved screen. There is just something about it that's hard to describe. It's as if the curvature of the screen is easier on my eyes.

I don't know where to begin with this. The reason I got this monitor is because I upgraded my system that now uses a ryzen 5 3rd gen processor and an amd rx 5700 xt. Naturally, I needed a monitor that was worth of my new specs. I did a lot of research and stumbled on the MSI Optix 31.5" monitor. Granted it took 1 week to ship it to my local best buy store during cyber Monday week, the wait was worth it. The monitor's build quality is sturdy and made out of high grade components. Additionally, there is not glare, no matter what angle you approach the monitor from. Because of the 1 ms input lag and 144 Hz refresh rate I am getting unbelievable FPS at 1440p and ULTRA settings. Gaming was never so satisfying before. Finally, it supports AMD FreeSync and is thus compatible with my rx 5700 xt. It allows for smoother gameplay and an overall better consuming experience.
10/10 would recommend. If you see this on sale, don't hesitate, buy it!

If you want a huge screen experience, this definitely is worth a look. Fast response time and high refresh rate make games like Overwatch and CSGO look absolutely amazing. On the down side, coming from a higher end gaming monitor, it's flaws show quite obviously. Ghosting is and i despise seeing it, and also the color saturation and overall brightness does not compare to higher end monitors. I tried my best to edit the monitors settings, but I could not acheive what my previous QDOT monitor could achieve.

This is a very good monitor for gaming on either pc or console 144hz looks great and it doesn’t have any color problems that I could see. Downside is that it does not have any speakers at all, I had to buy a set of external speakers for it which was fine but I couldn’t see anything in the description that said it has no sound but I may have missed it

It is big, it is curved, it has an excellent screen. Only drawback is that it doesnt have a sound system so you have to plug in speakers. This is fine considering I have a good pair of headphones and a good speaker system, but it was a bit of a shock to me personally. If it had sound, 5 stars, no doubt.

Excellent combination of price and quality, a small haze is visible, which is normal on all monitors in this category, the screen is very sensitive to knocks so be careful, but overall I really liked the quality, if the price is below $ 400 I indicate.
