This is a fantastic motherboard for the price. I just finished my new build. After turning on my PC, I was watjed that I had the memory in enefficent slots. It even told me where to move them to fix the problem. You have to enable XMP in the BIOS on most memory, as it defaults to 2133mhz. This was quick and easy. The SSD slot I used on the board itself also had a heatsink. That's a nice touch. When I installed windows 10 and connected to the internet, I received a pop up window for MSI Center, which updates drivers. That's a fantastic feature that I never expected to see on a fresh install.ninexpefted to go to the website for this. He careful installing the board, as some people, including myself, have managed to bend the tab next to the Ethernet port, causing it to cover thenpart where the plug would click in place. I was able to fix this by removing the screws only and just sliding the entire board just a bit to bend this tab back where it goes. It sits next to the port and pushes against the I/O shield. Overall, this boardnis fantastic. Looks good and worked right out of the box. Can't ask for anything more.

Motherboard works as it should. Only downside is not so great instructions on how to install it. Make sure you update the bios for 13th gen chips or it won’t work with them. Price is good

Great mother board for its price. I also have a asus graphics card and they pair perfectly. Even my biggest games run over 100fps while I record at 1080p quality. I would highly Recommend this for a somewhat budget build!

Ive had the board a few months and have run a few different processors in it such as 12400F 12600K and a 13700K. Ive used extreme cooling dry ice cooling method which help bring the 13700K to 6.7ghz for competitive benchmarking. Im still using the board daily even after the dry ice cooling and have had no issues yet. Its a decent robust board that took me by surprise. Would recommend for budget builders and first time extremists because of the lower cost and ddr4 support.

Really nice board. I bought it instead of another one that was not that good. I use it in my home server with i5 processor (13th gen). Works great! Unfortunately the output does not support 4K 120Hz but manages 4K 60Hz just fine, it's an iGPU limitation. Additionally it has Bios flash port in the back so it's easy to upgrade even without OS. Overall I am impressed with quality of a product.

If you're not going for a top-of-the-line PC build (DDR5, PCIE5 etc) this is a great board. MSI windows app is junk but they do quailty builds on their mobos hardware.

Overall I have no complaints on this board. I had an ASUS product on order with Amazon that was taking foreeeever to get to me, so when this dropped on sale I went for it. My SSD are performing to spec, all devices, RGB, audio, etc is going to spec. However there is one important note. IF YOU WILL USE A 13TH GEN PROCESSOR YOU MAY NEED A BIOS UPDATE TO USE THE BOARD! I found that out when I completed my build and then got nothing. This isn't MSI's fault, it was made before 13th gen chips. How to fix this is not hard either. 1. Find an old flash drive. Preferably 32GB or lower and formatted FAT32. It may work with others, but that worked for me and rumors are that it can be picky. 2. Download the BIOS update from MSI's website. MAKE SURE you get the one for the "DDR4" board and not the PRO z690 that supports DDR5. You will waste 5 hours of your life thinking your board is screwed up until you realize you got the wrong BIOS. (sadly, my oopsey experience) 3. Connect the Mobo to power (24pin and 8pin) --- no need to install CPU/Memory/HDD or anything but power at all. Turn on power supply if it has a hard off switch. 4. Insert flash drive into the designated, spot, press the flash BIOS button. 5. Now, what you should see here is that the lights on the mobo, fans, whatever (if anything is connected) should change from off to on state. The Flash BIOS button should start blinking, and if your flash drive has an indicator light that should be going too. After about 5-10 minutes the flash BIOS light and indicator on drive should turn off. The mobo activity lights may or may not change. 6. Once it's completed, you should be good to go! Overall no complaints, my machine runs in beast mode from all testing/benchmarks I've done. I was surprised that BestBuy was absolutely price competitive on the part when I needed it along with some other peripheral parts I picked up while there. There was zero reason to have ordered those from an online outfit to begin with I found out.

Would give a 2.5 if I could. The motherboard itself is solid, it was well labeled, and as easy as any other ATX motherboard to build on. It doesn't include a full paper manual in the box, which is a huge pain in the neck. It was really annoying to try to look at the PDF manual on my phone to find the connectors, etc. I had to flash the BIOS to get it to recognize my CPU, which I knew when I bought the board. It was easy enough to do, but the instructions in the manual were incomplete and I had to go to a YouTube video to complete the process. When I first installed Windows, I couldn't get it to recognize the ethernet jack was connected, depsite the fact that the cable was working. I had to download a bunch of drivers to a USB stick and install them on the computer and then I had to do a bunch of command line stuff to finally get it to work. I think any one of the issues would have not been a huge deal but altogether it was pretty annoying, especially since the board is over $200. Doing some research online, it seems like the Ethernet issue is pretty common. Ultimately, I would skip this board and see if you can find one at a better price, and Google it first to make sure there's no annoying issues.
