This machine is powerful like crazy powerful for a 12th Gen i7 HX chip with the combination of the RTX 3070Ti (which is the top of the line of Intel mobile chip with i9 HX been first). This laptop in particular can run anything you throw at it. (3D design/Gaming/Editing/Etc).
PS1/PS2/PS3/PSP runs like the original console (been playing GoW3 @ full screen resolution 1440p) ,
GoW runs a lot better than my previous i7 / RTX laptop, need to test a couple more games tho, but so far every game run at highest quality.
Pros :
* Full power RTX 3070 Ti with 8GB VRam , that's plenty of memory for any program to play with.
* 32GB DDR5 of Ram (indeed is DDR5 not 4)
* 1TB NVMe Gen4 Drive
* Per key RGB keyboard
* Runs cool with everything I have tested so far (need to run some stress test to see how warm or hot it gets, but so far so cool )
* Slick design (just like Raider series minus the edges RGB light)
* Have several I/O ports
* 2 x USB-C ports (1 x Thunderbolt 4, 1 x Gen 2 10Gbps)
* 3 x USB-A (1 x Gen 2 (10 Gbps) the others two ports are Gen 1)
* MUX switch
* Advance BIOS
* 1440p screen resolution
* RAM Memory have a headsink
* Both NVMe slots have their own heatsink sort of (isn't the best but is something)
Now some Cons :
* NVMe drive performance isn't Gen 4 speeds (overage speeds 3,500MB download/Reads)
* No Mini DP (they replace the Mini DP from last model and replaced with the TB4 which I prefer but still a con for many )
* RGB keyboard light are not on by default and I thought I had a defect device, took me a several minutes to find out the fix.
* Power brick is big, 300W real life brick size. (Just a couple cm smaller)
* No Advance Optimus (for a new Gen laptop with latest i7 HX and 3070Ti ,this should have been a feature)
* 165hz refresh rate (coming from a 300hz screen I knew I was gonna lose the extra frame rate but gain a lot more than that, I would have preferred the 240hz from the Raider series but well we can't get everything right)
* Not easy to open (requires little work to open, you might feel is gonna break but it won't, be aware there is a screw underneath the "Factory Seal" for a total of 11 screws)
I should also mention to keep track of the screws , because they are NOT the same length. (5 short and 6 long).
Till today those are my only Pros and Cons.
In conclusion this Laptop is a Powerhouse and you won't regret if you getting for whatever you want to throw at it from 3D designs / editing/ Games.
e.g. I don't know how accurate the colors are, but if you using it for Video editing and such, you'll need to do a little more research and get the information needed before buying , also I know the Raider HX series have 100% color accuracy and better screen/display with higher frame rate tho, still this is an amazing device for any needs.

Fast and powerful. I don't actually use it for gaming, but wanted it for its overall specifications and features.
Physically feels well built and sturdy.
Battery charge life could be better, but very happy overall.

I’ve got this laptop 17 days ago. Performance is impressive, the laptop is able to handle any games or tasks.
In my case I still have 3 issues with that laptop:
-1 Dead pixel
-After 15 days of using this laptop I started to notice crackle noise from fans
-Gets super hot under heavy tasks.

I'll keep it short... Just get this at $1799.99.
You won't find anything better at this price point. See attached pics for benchmark Results.
Also wanted to confirm this unit come with DDR5 Ram. (see Pic Below)
Screen is really good for content creation as well.
I measured 100% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB & 90% Adobe RGB.
Peak brightness is 350 Nits which is pretty decent.
Only cons are battery life since it has a smaller battery and no UCB-C charging because the power brick is pretty large. But this is the same with the GE Raider.
I just can't believe this is only $1799.99. Don't miss out on this deal.

I did buy this from Best Buy about a month ago, but not through my account.
After a month of ownership, I can truthfully say this PC checks all the boxes for gaming performance and most general use. It is fast as my desktops booting and performance in games comes close. Our 3 latest desktops all use the MSI - MPG Z690 EDGE motherboard with two having MSI RTX 3070TI cards and one with an EVGA RTX 3080 TI FTW. So I do have good comparisons. MSI makes excellent products and this is no exception.
This PC runs cool for a high performance laptop compared to most with lesser specifications. I can use it in my lap without getting burned legs. I love the automated game launch feature the puts the PC in high performance without having to switch to the dedicated GPU and the performance it gives. MSI Center works really good on this one and I only had a small issue when it upgraded for the first time, but it was an easy fix.
The keyboard on this one is simply great. Easy to type and very comfortable. RGB lighting is easy to to work with and options seem endless. The screen is very bright and excellent in games. Except for the con below.
I have a hard time finding any fault in this product. It is just that good, but there were two. First was screen color. It wanted to produce a brownish color in backgrounds and facial images when watching video, in white backgrounds and light colored web pages. It took a while, but I was able to fix using the adjustment feature in the windows control panel. The Intel graphic software didn't seem to help much. It is a shame MSI True Color was not included or on the download list for this laptop because it would have helped a lot and I haven't been able to find a way to get it yet. All 3 of my desktops have it available, but the are all on Win 10 Pro so maybe that's the problem?
Anyway, if you see this one at the discounted price BB puts on it occasionally, just buy it. Price to performance makes this an excellent choice.
The second con is getting into the bottom to upgrade the PC. Screws come out easily, but that is where it ends. The cover snaps on and it is like trying to open a sealed vault. Online videos are at best hints on how to do it, but I did manage, but lost a couple of tabs. Just be careful if you attempt this. I upgraded to a Samsung 980Pro for 2TB of storage. For a full upgrade featured PC I think MSI could have done a better job here.

I have had this laptop for about a year and a half now. I've used it regularly and while its performance has been solid it has other issues. Before I get into those I need to note that this laptop runs HOT. Running games maxed out or even on high settings will get this thing to an uncomfortable temperature. Even with the fan boost it cooks. Past that it runs fine and I have never played any game it couldn't handle. Now the real issues. The battery life is abysmal. Even just web surfing and doing basic tasks only gives you about and hour and a half before it needs to be plugged in again. Not the end of the world, but can be a bit annoying if you don't want to haul around the brick that is its power supply. I randomly had my shift key crack. For reasons unknown it just split down the middle, it works but is cracked. Recently one of the hinges just exploded for absolutely no reason. I went to close it and the hinge busted out the plastic border of the screen. Luckily the screen itself is fine but the hinge is broken. I cant close it, so now my laptop turned into a desktop. I should note, I am EXTREMELY careful with this thing and it hardly ever leaves my desk. I only move it on occasion and I have never dropped it, bumped it, or so much as set it down a little too hard. I paid very good money for this and treat it as such. The quality control is terrible. I have not contacted MSI yet so hopefully they can get it fixed without hassle and in a timely manner. I would say for the price, look at other options.

This thing is awesome! Feels sturdy, physically, well stocked with gear, and great for the price. Just make sure you're paying attention to the HX, most tech pages like Mobile Tech Review, Dave 2d, or Linus, aren't likely to touch on this advanced Vector GP66 model -- the lesser version was highlighted earlier, but there'sa big difference. I'd put it somewhere between the low and medium level of High End. Anyway, I'm digging it. Runs Cyberpunk maxed out like butter.

I needed a new laptop for work, not gaming. If you're a gamer I'm sure this will be great but I'm not testing that! I need something for 3D modeling and some light rendering of those models. This has made short work of Fusion 360, Solid Edge, and a few other CAD programs. Whether it's doing mechanical robot kind of designs or taffy pulling more organic shapes I've had great performance. No shutter, no lag, just smooth sailing through some fairly complex parts I've designed. The processor merely laughs while loading Word, Excel, and all the fun office programs. Web browsing, a breeze. Watching videos, I haven't found a challenging resolution or frame rate yet. Speakers are pretty good when I've used them. I watch tutorials and really boring things like that while working. If I'm gonna jam to something I am using my home speakers or a good Bluetooth headset with my phone most of the time. The laptop is built well. Honestly the worst thing I've experienced was removing the overly glued stickers that have all the buzz words about specs and processor. Seriously, how well do they really have to be glued on? I shouldn't have to use goo gone to remove them. Now even though the keyboard can give me a dazzling light show it's useless to me. It's fun though! I like the ability to customize the colors. If I go work at a coffee shop or something to get out of the house maybe I'd activate some of the patterns to try and make others with small less powerful laptops jealous. Peacock it just a little. The screen is bright and colorful with a nice crisp resolution. There are enough ports for my spaceball and mouse. Eventually I will move up to adding a docking station to hook up my external monitors a little easier but I'm rocking out for what I need to do professionally. There is nothing I have to complain about, only downside to all the greatness is the battery... To power this behemoth of a machine you need a lot of juice! I can get a few hours on high performance which is more than adequate for my needs, can extend it a little more using balanced. Using balanced is still enough power for what I've doing though. The shorter battery life compared to a laptop without a separate graphics card is worth the trade off. If you're using this for just e-mails, zoom, and more basic tasks like this, then this isn't the laptop for you. Spend your money on something like the Surface Laptop or Galaxy Book 2. If you want to scream "I have the Power!" like He-Man and make some sweet sweet CAD models this is a great choice.

This is a recent purchase. So far I am digging it. It's really fast and the graphics look great. The only downside, which is a huge con, is the battery life. If I unplug it from the outlet, it only gives a little over an hour of use which I find to be extremely low. That said, this is the first time I have purchased a laptop for home use, but i'm used to my work laptops having 2 almost 3 hours of use on battery power, so was a little sad at this. Overall, though I am fairly happy with it.

I'm really happy with the laptop when I got it everything was great ran super smooth the laptop would get pretty hot, but I used a under air laptop cooler. the reason I've left a poor review is because of the fact that I have had the laptop for less than a year and I've already been having problems and at one point the laptop wouldn't even turn on at all and i had to take it in for repairs. as soon as I got the thing back is when I noticed that the MSI center was no longer working correctly. I've had a rough time because that software is what I use to control we'll... everything... and i have had no luck with this issue I'm disappointed would not buy again.

This laptop was exactly what I wanted. Desktop gaming experience for on the go. Its ridiculous fast as the load times are barely even there. It has no issues playing everything and I have loved it. The only small negative is the fans do get a little loud when gaming, but I generally have on a headset so I don't notice. =) Its expected though, this thing is packing some serious hardware.

Great gaming laptop if you don't plan on travevling with it or move around too much. Very heavy. Powersource is as heavy if not heavier than the laptop. Invest in a good cooling pad. Graphics and performance is good for the price.

Great laptop. I’ve had this laptop for over a year. It has been great. There’s been a ton of different types of games played on it, from cards to mmorpg
