Customers love the Vector GP76 17.3" Gaming Laptop's powerful performance. However, a significant drawback reported by multiple customers is its poor battery life, with some experiencing rapid battery drain even while performing simple tasks. Users found the battery difficult to replace. The short battery life is a major concern for many.

Solid quality. I've been an MSI user for 8 years now and I have never been disappointed, with the caveat that one must be aware of the pros and cons of each product. No perfect item exists, but MSI delivers. This particular laptop is a perfect balance of price vs features. Solid materials, stable OS, minimal bloatware. Not the latest specs but it will still run everything gaming and creativity. Screen resolution is low but perfectly adequate for the setup. One star off for the UNGODLY BRICK of a power supply. Just why?! It is heavier than the laptop, and it's just ridiculous.

I absolutely loved this laptop, but unfortunately was limited to constantly being next to an outlet. I had nothing but a Word Doc open while in class, no other tabs or programs open, and watched the battery life decrease by 2% a minute. Not even moving the mouse, let alone typing. The graphics card is very powerful, but it’s too expensive to have that type of battery life. It’s also pretty heavy

It's a beast of a machine. I'm not into ultra thin or light laptops so I will gladly trade that off for good cooling, ease of access to upgrade ram and hd etc... The only negatives are Windows 11 because it's buggy and is still awhile from prime time, it should still be in beta honestly. The other is battery life, this is power hungry. Simple tasks without using the 3070ti you might get 1.5 - 2 hr, gaming... 30 minutes, maybe. The screen could be brighter as well but it's ok I guess.

Not very easy to remove the battery. Cooling system a little bit noisy. Laptop is getting hot while playing games on Ultra Graphics, recommend getting a cooling pad for it. Everything else is great.

I purchased this laptop and so far, it has been very bad. I'm not new to purchasing new gaming computers, they all have a few issues to work out. This one came with a defective keyboard. What happens is that 1/100 keystrokes ends up spamming the key several times. This occurs no matter what I'm typing in whether it's word or outlook, or anything for that matter. I'm thoroughly dissappointed because the infrequency of this defect made it so that I didn't realize it was a consistent problem until I owned the laptop for at least a month or two, then I thought maybe it was something I could fix myself if I found a software/hardware bug. By the time I got around to having time to call MSI to inform them about the $2,500 defective product, I was outside of my warranty period. Additionally, I've found that I frequently have to uninstall and reinstall the sound drivers to get it to cooperate with my headset. Luckily, I am computer savvy enough to be able to figure out how to do this by following instructions I found online. It is extremely tedious. Do better MSI. This is a $2.5k product. Needless to say, I will pay the extra money for Alienware next time.

A Very Nice and Very Expensive Portable Desktop PC

The peripherals are quite nice, but buy this knowing you're not actually purchasing a laptop. The battery life is absolutely abysmal (<= 60 minutes performing simple tasks like internet browsing). The battery even drains when the device isn't powered on. Leaving the laptop powered off for a week, and the battery drains itself. Really disappointing.
