The build quality is a 7/10. It's a bit too plastic feeling, but is sturdy enough. It is quite light and seems mostly durable. The screen is ok, not great. The colors and clarity is there, it just doesn't POP. It has a nice matte finish that doesn't glare at all. Keyboard is nice, number pad is a bit squished. The touchpad was absolutely unbearable until today. When I first received it, there was no reverse scroll feature and any gestures made the mousepad glitch out. It was pretty unresponsive and kind of felt like my circa 1993 dell touchpad. I contacted MSI and they told me to contact synaptics. I called, emailed, and put in multiple support tickets and synaptics NEVER got back with me. I tried MSI a few more times and finally I got a CSR who knew his stuff. It turns out my version of Windows was not seeing an update. I downloaded the ISO per his instructions and reinstalled. Now the touchpad works great. It's not the greatest touchpad in the world, but it works without frustration. I will be sure to never buy synaptics hardware. The power is there and it runs cool for me. I do 3D modeling, games, and some video stuff with decent speed and resolution. I had done my research on this and it's mostly what I expected. The p2000 is able and seems to run well in comparison to my desktop. It leaves me wishing I would have bought the next tier up workstation, but I'll be totally good with this for a few years.
