The $30 price tag may scare some off, but there is no better deal in gaming - particularly for physical console games. The 20% discount on all new games means you will only need to buy 2-3 games over the course of two years to come out ahead. Membership also frequently awards $10 bonus credits with many pre-orders (on top of the 20% discount), so $60 games quickly become $38 games - on release day no less! Unfortunately, the discount is not extended to digital games. That certainly would have been an excellent perk to have, but discounts on digital copies of PS4 and Xbox One games are hard to come by anywhere at this point so it's not a surprising exception.

They had a promotion for this during the 2014 holiday season when I purchased it but I believe that the price for this has been permanently reduced to 30.00 dollars. It's a great deal because if you purchase a lot of video games and interactive figures such as Skylanders, Disney Infinity or Nintendo amiibo you can save an additional 20%. As of this writing (a bit over half a year) Best Buy Gamer's club unlocked has paid for itself 3 times over in savings. The membership itself lasts for 2 years before you have to purchase a renewal.

If you are planning on purchasing at least three new games within the next two years, look no further than this. The Gamers Club Unlocked deal basically saves you $12 on every new $60 game you buy, so it pays itself off with three games. You can use this deal with the same game twice, so you can offer to buy the same game for a friend and still save money again. Also, you save 10% on any used games. It's a great deal that I've been taking advantage of myself. I highly recommend this.

This is a must have if you are into video games. I recently bought a xbox one console and then I ordered this membership card online when it was on sale. The activation is a little bit hassle since I have to ask some Bestbuy team member to do that. But after that, everything works fine. There are a lot of benefits to become a Gamers Club Unlocked member, 20% off any game (including PC games), game trade-in bonus, BOGO coupon for used games etc. Great value.

Saving 20% on any game related purchase is a great incentive to shop at Best Buy and you'll quickly recover the price of admission into the program and then some when combined with other rewards they offer gamers. The savings come in particularly handy if you're into buying collector's edition version of titles which generally carry a higher price tag. It's such a great program I've pretty much quit stopping for games at that other store.

If you play games, this is a no-brainer. The savings you receive with this membership make up the cost in no time, and when you factor in the extra Reward Zone point, it becomes an even better value. I haven't purchased a game through Amazon in a while simply because Best Buy has become the better value. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would be buying games in the near future.

I've been enjoying the benefits of the My Best Buy Gamer's Club unlocked for about six months now, and even though I'm not the hard core gamer I used to be, I've already easily saved enough on new game purchases to pay for the two year membership. I highly recommend this program and will certainly sign up again when my current membership requires.

Gamers Club Unlocked is a great deal. It was a slightly harder sell at $100, but the new permanent price of $30 is full of value. Being able to stack the 20% off new games with the occasional $10 in Rewards Certificates for pre-ordering specific games means BB has the cheapest prices on launch day. I'll definitely be buying more games as a result.

This is an excellent deal for any one who buys lots of video games. Once you buy three or four games you have already paid for your entire two year membership fee. It is no-brainer deal for anyone who is in to getting new games for the current generation systems across all of the game companies. Great buy period.

I don't understand how GCU isn't taking off like wildfire. 20% off new games and there are used game bonuses as well. My membership paid for itself in a matter of months. Now I have another year+ remaining. BB stole my business away from their competition. Kudos to them.

If you buy games and do t have this you are crazy. Depending on what it cost you start saving money very quickly. I got it on sale and saved money after 3 games. Have bought many since. I will be buying this forever

This is a no brained. If you buy 3 games a year this plan pays for its self.besides getting 20% every game purchase there are certain games you preorder they can get a $10 Gift Card for. Like I said great deal

This is definetely worth the price of admission. As you buy games and utilize this you will get your money back and its really good when buying games since you can get them a lot cheaper than anywhere else.

If you purchase physical copies of games this is a must have. If you love the digital games, this is not for you. Too many perks not to own, a must get. It pays for itself over and over again.

Actual activation was a pain - they didn't do it right at purchase, and another store was fully ignorant on the entire process, but once I got it sorted out the savings are great!

If you buy even a handful of games a year then this is worth it. I made my money back pretty much after the 2nd game I bought. Every thing else is money in my pocket.

At 99.99 it's a little pricey. At 29.99 it's fantastic and pays for itself on your first purchase and all purchases for the rest of the year. Perfect membership.
