My Best Buy Plus for me is a good value; I really appreciate the free 2 day shipping as it's a huge time saver not having to locate an item in the store, wait in line to check out, etc, and is especially useful as we get closer to Christmas when I tend to buy more items from Best Buy. It's also a nice insurance plan, having the 60 day extended return window, although I haven't had to use it. As far as the exclusive, early access to new products, I haven't used that yet, but again as we approach Christmas, that may turn out to be a huge benefit, especially if there's a huge "it" gift that is otherwise hard to come by. For less than $5 per month, it's a great value.

We bought a defective Sony K55 tv which had to be re
turned, no easy project only to find the replacement had the very same soft ware defect at which time we replaced it with another make. The fact that we were members made a difficult process much easier as we always identified as members with our info on hand.

I loved this membership apart from the purchase I made they gave me gift cards insurance at a good price and I also liked how quickly they accommodated my new refrigerator in my house I am so happy I have much more space to store food and with children you always need one a lot of space to store your meals apart from the modern that looks my kitchen with the new and modern refrigerator thank you very much I found just what I was looking for.

Best Buy Visa is like printing Money

The Best Buy membership is great. The extended return privilege, level of customer service, the sales and discounts but you know how to pour gas on it? Get the Best Buy Visa card; NOT the store card the Best Buy Visa. every purchase you make regardless of where that is gives you points towards Best Buy bucks (Not sure what Best buy calls this vouchers). Now I use my card a good amount and it is like printing money. I have had my card about 4 or 5 monmths and have already cashed in about 700.00 in Best Buy bucks. I am running out of things to buy! So they issue they, I will call them vouchers. You can combine as many as you want. If you have 200 worth you can buy something for 200 and leave the store not spending a penny. Two weeks ago I used all of my Best Buy vouchers for a juicer that cose 300 plus tax and I spend I think 74.00 of my month plus my Best Buy bucks. That was two weeks ago and I am now back to about 250.00 worth and they expire in a couple months I think. So by the time I start shopping for Christmas I should have about 1k worth as I have a lot of travel coming up over the next 6 weeks. Best Buy Visa = Printing money for Best Buy. LOVE IT

Went to purchase a refrigerator and waited 15 + minutes, only to have a gentleman who couldn’t answer any of our questions. He was able to pull up a pic on his phone but that was about it. Was also thinking of purchasing a tv but held off for the time being.

I recently purchased an HP Envy laptop from Best Buy and decided to get the Best Buy membership. I’m so glad I did! The member prices helped me save $400 on my laptop, which was a huge bonus. The membership also gives me access to unlimited Geek Squad support, which is amazing. Knowing I can get help with tech issues at any time adds a lot of peace of mind. Additionally, I love that I can add protection plans to my purchases. It feels reassuring to know that my laptop and other electronics are covered in case anything goes wrong. I am a long time Best Buy loyalist. If you are too, then having a membership is a fantastic opportunity for some money saved.
I try ti buy most of my gear from Best Buy… I have a Best Buy credit card as well, so I get a lot of points and rewards if I stay within the Best Buy environment.
The membership itself is helpful to me, as I buy appliances, tv’s, etc and the warranty, the installations, already help you save.
Not only do you save from those services but every so often there are products that go on sale/discounted that are specific for members. A few small items I didn’t mind having around definitely helps, such as hdmi cables or network cables.
I think the biggest savings I had were from Apple products, just 1 week after launch the items go on sale for members, and you can ask for a price match. Saved a few hundred dollars this way already.
Finally the extended return window helps, sometimes you buy something it doesn’t go as planned, the generous return windows are very helpful for those situations.
I highly recommend it

The membership value is real good if you shop at Best Buy a lot. But it’s true value is in the extended return. Because as most of us realize we tend to forget when we’re supposed to return items so I like that this membership gives me a little extra time to sort out if I would like to keep an item for any reason.

I think this has been one of the greatest purchases ever. I bought a Ryzen 9 and I was upgrading it from a Ryzen 3 and the price for the processor went down in around 20 days after I bought it. I went to Best Buy and they honored the new price and gave me a credit for the difference it was around $300. I already recover my membership purchase.

This year I’ve enjoyed the My Best Buy plus membership. I did enjoy the free shipping, and the occasional members discounts that interested me; however, more then once these same items became on sale one or two weeks after the members exclusive sale which can be price matched, and I have done so more then once.
One of the greatest benefit is the extended return window, but that also has its issues. If you are past the “normal” window the app will not let you begin the return you have to go in the store at which point they can and will help you. The only time that I need this feature the staff acknowledged how it could be misleading using the app, as it does not differentiate members and non members for returns.

I have been dealing with a brand new TV, which was not delivered the day it was supposed to be. I called geek squad sunday to see if I could get someone to explain some things on the TV because the installer failed to show or explain anything to me. Monday, this tv picture froze on me 5 times. The first geek squad agent asked if I had plugged the tv to get it to work again and that seemed to be the popular response by every agent. The second agent sent me to sony and I got the same response. He told me that was first so he could start a case for me. The last agent I talked to said I had a defective tv and did I want a new TV or have repair come to my home. I chose repair and I think I'm happy I did. Repair came out Thursday and it took him 30 sec to find the issue. Apparently the person Saturday who did my install was third party and did not know what he was doing. He even told me Saturday he didn't know much. Repair had everything working in just a few minutes. He told me to always insist on geek squad repair any time I needed the tv worked on as third party people here are not capable of knowing how to work on tvs. At this point the tv is working beautifully, but the picture freezing is intermittent. I have another appointment Sunday to try and learn the basics of the tv.

I've been using the Best Buy Plus Membership for a while now, and overall, I'm really satisfied with the benefits it offers. The membership provides excellent value, especially for someone like me who makes regular tech purchases and enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest gadgets.
One of the standout features is the free shipping on most items. It’s convenient to know that I don’t have to worry about shipping fees on my orders, no matter the size or cost. This has definitely saved me a good amount of money over time.
The extended return window is another great perk. Having extra time to decide if a product is right for me is really helpful, especially when buying high-ticket items like electronics. It takes the pressure off making a quick decision and allows me to fully test and enjoy the product before committing.

I can’t say enough good things about the customer service at Best Buy and their Geek Squad team! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and quickly assisted with finding exactly what I needed. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions.

Very practical. I bought the wrong one once, and only after I unboxed it did I realize it was not what I wanted. Because the appearance was the same, I only realized the difference after using it. And it was indeed not as convenient to use as the one I wanted. It is really convenient to have this membership
