I love technology and this product is very nice. Easy to install, the mount which is removable takes time to adjust. The heart of the unit is your phone. You need to have your phone on charge if you use it for long trips, drains the battery while using. Depending on your car make and year will determine how much data is displayed. For instance my car, the gas gage is not displayed. NAVDY support is non existant. Tried calling and tried emailing and nothing. I figured the problems out on my own. One issue still open is : why when i return a text using Navdy does the text show a phone number that is not mine? Still no answer. I would have given 5 stars if the support was decent.

What I like is the thumbwheel scroll and heads up display. What I don't like is the limited view on the screen of the roads. Must manually zoom out to see the roads ahead. Sometimes slow to search & load a new street. Haven't seen the multiple destination route and optimize routing. Overall good idea for a gps.

This is a great idea but it had too many bugs and glitches to really make it work $400 in my opinion. The lack of support for Waze was the deal breaker for me along with the poor integration with my internal bluetooth capabilities (2018 Kia Sorento). Overall, I may look at it again in the future, but for now, I decided to return to BB.

I purchased this for my wife. I had installed a radio in her old car that had Android Auto. It was fantastic. It made it easy to use navigation, send and receive text messages, and listen to music. The voice commands worked incredibly well. The new car we purchased did not have Android Auto as an option. I couldn't even replace the radio as most of the important car functions were controlled from the factory installed unit. We went all out and purchased the navigation package that includes voice commands. It is a far cry from Android Auto with navigation that is hard to initiate (seems like one of two core competencies of a good navigation system...) and had no ability to read or send text messages while driving. Enter Navdy - my thought is that it would provide all of those functions and more with a heads up display. The unit was easy enough to install after watching the installation videos a few times. I was a little disappointed that it kinda sticks out on the dash board but the display was viewable. The thumb wheel on the steering wheel never quite locked into place so when you pushed on it, the whole unit would slide backwards. While we got the hang of reading text messages, just never could get into initiating navigation by voice or responding to text messages. To be fair, we didn't spend a lot of time trying to learn it, I think we were spoiled with how easy Android Auto was to learn. I do think that the system has a lot of promise and think the next versions will be all the better. I think having better voice commands and gesture recognition will make it much more usable and potentially would get rid of the need for the jog wheel. I also think making the unit a bit smaller and potentially figuring out a way to display on the windshield like a true HUD, will make it a much more compelling purchase.

I have a class A RV 35 feet long and it doesn't like to stay in it's lane when glancing away from the road to check directions. This product with it's Heads Up Display and Bluetooth connection to your phone with a easy to use wheel you attach to the steering wheel is brilliant! HOWEVER The company folded and now the search for navigation is severed (I wish they would have routed it through google to start but they routed it through their servers that are gone now). THERE IS HOPE as some smart peeps have made firmware upgrades that alleviate this (so I've read but I'm still too scared to download a .exe from a random site that claims it is the firmware and not malware/virus...I have an older laptop that I will try this with before our next big big rig trip.

This is my second one that I bought and we just LOVE IT ! First one I got on Kickstarter and then we got one at BestBuy . This works great and is a big help on trips too ! Just Buy one or two you will not be disappointed!

This product is pretty cool and helps me keep my eyes on the road. Customer support is better than Apple (i.e amazing). Can control my Apple Music, answer calls and make calls, listen to emails/texts, oh and did I mention navigation? My only complaints really are that it doesn't yet integrate with waze, doesn't take car pool lane traffic into consideration (waze does) which in California can make a big difference and it's a little on the bulky side. I was having difficulties finding the proper place in my small Audi A3, but now that I found it couldn't be happier.

The Navdy HUD is a great way to keep your eyes on the road while you can still see important information. The glances are great for emails, texts and other notifications. It's very easy to install, I spent about 15 minutes doing so. My one gripe is the screen is slightly too small in normal mode to fit both the ETA and Mph data on without it blending into the edges. This can be resolved in compact mode but the information is then smaller. Overall I'm very happy with this product

I use this everywhere I go, it's great! Only wish it connected to apple maps. Unfortunately, it only connects to google.

A little time to learn how to use it, but provides great functionality.

This is amazing. So easy to set up and use, and much safer when driving.

The Navdy was easy to set up and use. I recently drove to LA to see my brother. Usually the traffic is heavy and hard to follow the directions. The Navdy is easy to read and follow. I never missed a turn. The other GPS units I have used were hard to follow and I missed many turns. This unit is by far the best GPS I have ever used.

Had the product for a couple of weeks thus far and have no negative experience. Not used on a regular basis but when used, is an improvement over regular GPS units.

Like all the features and user freindly but please be aware you might have to purchase additional mounting brackets, this is costly enough without having to purchase additional hardware

Easy to set up and easy to see on dash but kind of expensive

I really read about NAVDY for some time b4 buying .. it performs flawlessly. It's a great help to me when driving, you can see it perfectly and it handles so many things for you. A must have for any driver who commutes!!

New Product for my 2002 car that I could not connect to my phone and which did not have navigation. Really slick, and still be developed with downloadable upgrades.

Navdy Head-Up Display brings me great experience during my drive. Good turn-by-turn navigation and great control for music.

It is easily set up but it may be a little distracting in the view which is supposed to avoid distractions.
