Bought this for my son on his switch. Wanted him to stay off of my X-box. And I happy to say it has worked. He loves the game play and it looks really good. He enjoys designing shoes on the game.

The 2k nba games have always been great and this one is no exception. Everything is pleasing about it to play. Only negative which to me is frustrating is that most of the game isn’t actually on the game itself and has to be downloaded. I didn’t have time to download any updates and was on a trip so for 3 weeks could only just play a pickup game until I could download the rest of the game

THIS GAME IS AMAZING! It is my favorite no matter what. It is just great. It is helpful to know your basketball history because you can play with old school players. IT IS AMAZING! By the way I was 8 at the time. My dad didn’t let me get online so I’m missing some stuff, but still really fun. Cool being able to play on big screen TV at home too. My sister was amazed at how realistic it looks on TV.

I’ll be honest from the beginning I am not a basketball fan, but I do like playing the video games. For me the gameplay, graphics, sounds and player interactions are immersive. When I play the game, people walk by and actually think I’m watching a real game. The controls are easy to learn and I can play a quick game at the start. I don’t personally care about who is on the roster or building my own team or stuff like that (check other reviews for that). Team customizations, coaching style, etc are there (I just don’t use them). The game for me is all about just being able to play a quick game of basketball and blowing off some steam. So that being said, the game works for casual gamers.

I love the NBA 2K series. I played all the way back on the 360 and have owned pretty much every year’s edition since then. I’ve always gotten them for Xbox though. Since I find that I have more ability and time to play the Switch now, I bought this iteration for the Switch. It’s a great port. The graphics are really good - especially considering the hardware it is running on. It’s a great basketball game for the road. The problem is that it runs at 30fps, not 60fps like the other consoles. This might not sound like a big problem but everything feels slightly laggy. For casual play it’s fine. If you’re looking to play this as your main basketball game, however, it’s harder to recommend. I still have lots of fun with this version of NBA 2K, because it is amazing to be on the road and enjoy the authentic experience anywhere you are. If you’re sitting at home in front of your TV the vast majority of the time, however, then I would recommend sticking with either the Xbox One or PS4 version.

This was a 50th birthday gift for my boyfriend, who used to play college ball, but blew out his knees. He loves this game! I've even found him playing during work Zoom meetings. So many of the special features that give your player a life off the court are wonderful. He's so into it that for Father's Day we got him his own custom NBA jersey to wear when he plays. During the pandemic, this really helps us as a family with our basketball withdrawal. Our daughter also plays basketball, and we look forward to the day that there are options to make your own player for the WNBA. She and her dad love challenging each other to WBNA and NBA games. A real birthday gift winner. He keeps thanking us for this gift.

Great game! However, be sure to buy an sd memory card when you purchase this game. It takes up at least 40 gb of storage on your switch. I hope you enjoy this game like I do! :)

Great game for Nintendo Switch. Must make sure you have enough storage or the game will only have a quick play mode. Also took a while to download. But once downloaded it’s a great game with all the same features as xbox or PS.

This game has great graphics and is very entertaining to play and compete with friends and family. This game is a little difficult for younger players. it suits all ages from 7 to up

If you like basketball, this is an awesome game. I was a little hesitant about getting it. I am so glad I did. So much fun and the graphic quality is amazing. Definitely worth the money.

I haven't played NBA2K since the late 90's but I purchased this for my kids. The graphics, game play, in-game options and extra features are the reasons this game won't get old.

It’s fun to play with friends. The controls need some getting use to but it’s not hard. Just need to memorize complete plays. Career mode is cool because it’s like a movie.

My son loved this game and thought it was the coolest game ever. Its his first NBA video game so he was blown away by the graphics and how realistic it was!

Lots of gameplay hours with this game. Wasn’t sure how a basketball game would be on Switch but it’s not bad. Lots of modes. Very fun.

It great game for kids and the game okay, but the only problems are Nintendo controls should be Xbox layout but hey it Nintendo idea. Me I just put a color code layout for controls

The game is very detail oriented, but beware that it takes a lot of storage space and the controls are difficult at first.

This game can be tough to put down. Gameplay is challenging but fair. It's the most realistic basketball game I've ever played.

the gameplay is a little better than last years game. the franchise mode is one of best in sports gaming. don't like all the micro-transactions though.

NBA 2K20 has good graphics and is fairly easy to play. Only negative is the initial required game one must play prior to playing the actual game.
