Great franchise for sport made games and is just right for the switch. Nintendo has done it again. I do remember nintendo classics like nba jam,super nintendo, and nba hang time on nintendo 64. Thats likeness makes me to play this game like the classics i loved. No mercy on the kiddos

well if you loved NBA Jam from the old days or recall hearing or even playing it before, you'll love NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. bringing out the best stars of today's rosters and even taking a trip down memory lane and bringing back some legends from the Hall of Fame. Must buy if you are a basketball game fan.

I was debating on whether or not to purchase this game for a while but I’m glad I did. It was very reminiscent of NBA Jam that I played when I was younger, though the shooting mechanic in this game is something I was not quite familiar with, but was easy to get used to. It’s a fun time playing with friends online or local. Downside to this game is that it is heavily loot box driven and you could pay more to unlock characters from the get go. If you don’t want to pay more than you did already, be ready to grind for a long time. I’m ok with grinding as it extends the play time overall, but some may feel that it gets repetitive. If you want a fun arcade basketball game to play and are not really into the serious AAA franchise like NBA 2K, this is a good alternative.

I don't know if I bought this as a clearance item or if it was a holiday special, but the price was too good to pass up. I like that the game is a little more relaxed and NBA jam-like than the standard 2K games. Pretty fun to play and worth the few bucks I spent to get it.

Have yet to play with a friend but it's pretty fun and goofy. As far as i know the only tutorial is pictures with descriptions of what buttons to push. It's a little difficult to jump in to but within a few practice matches i was getting the hang of it.

The core game itself is really fun but the progress for characters and unlockables crawwwwls. It takes forever to unlock new characters and even then it's only a chance you'll get somebody good. Not bad if you want to get your NBA Jam fix though.

Fun game to play by yourself or with friends, especially if you're a basketball fan. However, it will take a long time to open up the card packs with the legendary players (unless you're lucky). I just wish they were available to play right away.

This game is a grinder. Very similar to the NBA Jams I remember as a kid playing Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. I recommended this to causal basketball fans that are into arcade style of play.

Bought this for my 11 year old son and he loves it. He also plays NBA2K19. I guess it's like NBA JAMS......for us older folks to compare. So i don't know if adults will enjoy it....maybe if you have friends over if people still do that when it comes to video games.

I picked this game up as I was a big NBA JAM fan and playing this did not disappoint! True arcade basketball experience. Improved on all that was wrong with the first NBA Playgrounds. Would definitely recommend!

This is a pretty fun game very similar to NBA Jam. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is you can only play 2 on 2 for so long before you start getting bored. The championship option is a nice touch to hold your interest longer.

I got this as my basketball game for Switch. Think NBA Jam if you're wondering what style of game it is. If your interested in regular 2k or live get an Xbox or ps4 for the best Sim experience but the arcade style of this game works great on switch.

I you were a fan of NBA Jam back in the day, you are going to love this game. Game play is very fluid and serves as a much improved successor to it. The shooting meter takes a little getting use to, but a good sports game on the switch nonetheless.

This is a more fun way to play basketball games and is as close to playing NBA Jam as you can get these days. For those old enough to remember that one.

This game is pretty cool and reminds me of playing NBA Jam as a child. The controls are very similar and you get a lot more players on this game as well. I enjoy it & the kids do too!

I've been a fan of the classic NBA Jam game, unfortunately is only available on older consoles, but this tittle has been the closes I can find, but with more. I play it with my son on weekends and definitely a fun game

This is a fun game to play against friends! The game has a Nba Jam feel to it! The only downfall of this game is you have save up in game money to unlock more players! They give the option to unlock all the players for $9.99!

NBA Jam is better they did a good job of creating that arcade basketball feel I just don’t like the cheating aI they do things that are unbelievable and unfair other then that it’s a good game.

Great game for our Nintendo Switch! My seven year loves it. Can be played with multiplayers in house or online with people all over the world. Definitely would buy again!

Cool game reminds me of the NBA Jams back in the 90’s love it keep making more of these and the online multiplayer working to make this a true legend game for basketball!!
